She giggled when he picked her up and smiled. "I'm fine, and you?" She asked, putting her shoulders on his shoulders to steady herself.


Her brother tugged on Kevin's robes. "Who are you?"

"I'm doing well," Kevin said and then turning to the boy he said, "I am possibly your sister's future boyfriend."


Then looking at the clock he added, "I've been getting richer and richer over the last couple of weeks."

 

[Sequoia]

James, Alice's brother looked wide-eyed between them and Alice lightly smacked his shoulder. "You never asked me." She said, smirking all the while.


"What do you mean, richer and richer?" She asked, following his gaze as the station started to fill up and she picked James up to keep him close.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Well, i've been doing muggle mercenary missions. Usually rescuing kidnapped children," Kevin said smiling at Alice. Then the train arrived and he said, "Shall we get on?"

 

[Sequoia]

Alice stared at him. She handed James to her Da and kissed both their cheeks before following Kevin. She put her trunk in the compartment above then sat down, folding her cloak. She then picked up her book and leaned against Kevin before she started reading.

Kevin smiled as Alice leaned on him. Opening a book on ninja techniques, he put his left arm around her and began to read.

 

[Sequoia]

Alice snuggled into his side and rolled her shoulders. Not a lot of people knew but she was part fae and her wings were just coming in, causing discomfort and a nasty rash on her shoulders. She sighed happily just as someone else came into their compartment.

"Kevin what are you doing? I thought you liked me," Terri said looking at the two of them.


Kevin looked at Terri and said, "I never did. I tolerated you but the only woman i've ever had eyes for has been Alice. Why don't you go and find some other rich guy to tell your sob story to."

 

[Sequoia]

Alice looked between the two of them, surprised slightly by Kevin's harsh tone.


"Kev, you know I'm only a half-blood, right? And my family isn't rich..." Alice said, looking worriedly at him as she sat up and twisted a starnd of hair around her finger.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Alice, I don't care about all that. Terri only saw me when every found out I was only in Slytherin because of my blood. I'm of the line of Slytherin, remember," Kevin said as Terri left crying.

 

[Sequoia]

"But your family...?" She asked. "they wouldn't want you to be with a-a half-blood..." She stuttered, tearing up slightly.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"What family? I've been living as an orphan for the last ten years," Kevin said honestly. It was the truth, five years ago his family was destroyed and he was almost always on the move seeing as he was a mercenary.

 

[Sequoia]

"Oh...I'm sorry, I didn't know!" She hugged him tightly. She pulled back a small smile on her face. "You still haven't asked if I want to be your girlfriend!"

 

[kevinhdobson]

"I kind of assumed it would be a yes. Seeing as you welcomed me in Diagon Alley," Kevin said honestly. Opening a small box in his backpack labelled Dracokagure he pulled out a necklace with a black charm on it. With it partnered with his it made the yin-yang symbol. Giving it to her he said, "Will you be my girlfriend Alice?"

 

[Sequoia]

She blushed at the necklace and smiled widely. "Yes, of course! But you didn't have to get me this necklace! It's too much..." she tried to hand it back.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"It's a symbol of my heritage. By wearing it you can speak to me through it. Something of my mother's, she was a ninja. Kind of like thought speech," Kevin said explaining why he was giving it to her.

 

[Sequoia]

"Oh..." Alice smiled and turned her back to him. "Put it on for me?" She asked, tying her hair up in a messy ponytail and moving it to the side.

Kevin smiled as he put it on her. Holding her against himself he kissed her lips gently and healed the rash on her back. Letting her go he said, "Does that feel better?"

 

[Sequoia]

She kissed him back and gasped as he healed her rash. "How did you know that was there?" she flexed her shoulders, all discomfort gone.

"I didn't, I had noticed you had a little discomfort there. Is that okay," Kevin asked curiously. Sighing to himself he added, "Do you want to see where I sleep tonight after the feast?"

 

[Sequoia]

Alice smiled and threw herself at him, kissing him soundly. "Thank you." She whispered against his lips, leaning their foreheads together.


"If you want me to, sure." She grinned at him.

Kevin kissed her deeply as the door opened. In the doorway stood Draco Malfoy. Draco said, "Kevin are you insane? You yelled at Terri and chose that half-blood to be with?"


"Draco I really don't give a shit about blood. I have loved Alice since our first year. If you worry about Terri so much why don't you date her," Kevin said glaring at Draco and then Draco left.

 

[Sequoia]

Alice grinned at him, a little breathless but didn't hesitate to kiss him again. She pulled back after a minute. "Do you have ulterior motives to taking me to where you sleep Mr. Dobson?" She smirked.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Not really, I just want you to know where I am at. In case you want to come see me at night," Kevin said honestly. Sighing to himself, he had turned the Chamber of Secrets into his own private living quarters.

 

[Sequoia]

Alice wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his cheek. "And why would I need to see you after curfew sir?" She playfully asked.
