A New Home for Jensen

Jensen smiled and waddled over to the wardrobe, looking around until he pulled out a pair of green dinosaur pj's and some striped socks and smiled, sitting down and pulling on his socks, with a bit of difficulty. "Daddy, Hewp!" He whined.

Wordlessly helping their baby put on his socks, Jared gave Jensen a comforting kiss before helping the younger into his dinosaur pajamas.

"Ready for bed?" Misha asked.

"Yeah, Daddy. 'm sweepy." Dean said, as he yawned and rubbed his eyes, making grabby hands at Misha, wanting to be put in his crib so he could go to sleep.

"Okay, buddy." Misha said as he quickly picked up Jensen before setting him in his crib, giving him a pacifier and a stuffed dragon to cuddle with. Kissing their baby's forehead, the couple whispered their good nights before turning on the night light in the nursery and shutting the door.

Dean smiled as he curled up, and started to dream. He dreamnt he was riding Toothless, just like in the movie, and they were soaring through the clouds, looking down at the people and villages below.

"At least now we know what kind of things to get him for Christmas," Misha said as he and his husband remained in the kitchen, cleaning up the mess they had left from dinner.

Jared hummed in reply, before giving a warm kiss on his husband's mouth, feeling more loved and happier than he had been in months. Them having someone to care for brought out the best in them, it seemed. And the taller man couldn't ask for anything better.

The next morning, Jensen woke up to the smell of food, climbing out of his crib, the young man slowly toddled to the kitchen and smiled. "Morning, Daddy!" He announced, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

Looking up from his cooking, Misha blinked before what he saw finally hit him. Neither him nor his husband knew Jensen could toddle, let alone climb out of his crib.

"Morning, buddy," the blue-eyed man replied, still in light shock. Jared looked up from his work and saw both his partner and their little one together.

Standing next to Jensen, Jared asked, "Did you climb out of your crib and walk here, baby?"

"Yes, I did. I in twouble?" Jensen asked innocently, looking up at Jared, then at Misha, with a cute smile on his face, knowing they couldn't resist.

"No! No, baby, you're not in trouble," Jared replied quickly, already under the spell of that cute smile.

Finishing making breakfast, and setting the plates down on the table, Misha said, "We're proud of you, buddy. We just...didn't expect it."

"I walk! I big boy!" Jensen said happily, as he toddled over to the table watching Misha get everything set up. "I help, Daddy Misha?" Jensen asked, feeling helpful.

Kissing the young man's forehead, Misha said, "Sure, buddy. Here you go." Handing Jensen some napkins and a few other easy things to carry.

"Thanks, baby." Jared praised as he sat down at the table after Jensen and Misha finished setting the table.

Quirking a brow and smiling fondly, the blue-eyed man asked, "Was that for me or Jensen?"

The long-hair man grinned, "Both of you."

Picking up Jensen and sitting the younger in his highchair, Jared gave him a sippy cup full of orange juice, before ruffling their little one's hair.

Starting to eat their own breakfasts, the couple smiled at their baby before Misha asked, "Anything you want to do today, baby?"

"Go swimming?" Jensen asked, seeing that the weather was nice outside, and it was pretty warm out, it made for a perfect day for swimming.

"Sure! We got a pool outside, or we can go somewhere," Jared offered, in case Jensen wanted to either stay here or go out.

After the three finished eating, and the mess from Jensen's face was wiped away, Misha carried their baby into his nursery before starting to dress him in some swimming trunks.

"Do you want to keep wearing a diaper, buddy?" the blue-eyed man asked.

Chuckling at his baby's answer, "Okay, silly." Misha dutifully taped a fresh diaper around Jensen's waist, before pulling up a pair of blue swimming trunks with sharks on them.

Helping Jensen off the changing table, and watching in pride at the young man toddling his way through the house, the pair met Jared grinning brightly and holding an abundance of pool toys in his arms, along with a floatie and water wings in case their baby needed either.

Jensen squealed and smiled as he toddled out of the house, standing outside on the patio, waiting patiently for his Daddies.

"Thanks for waiting, baby." Jared said softly, before all three headed out to the pool together. It was rather warm out, with the sun shining brightly and a blue sky above.

Rubbing the smallest dab of sunscreen on their little one's face, Misha offered, "Do you want to wear a floatie or water wings, buddy?"

"Floatie, Daddy." Jensen said, smiling at Misha, and waiting patiently to hop in the pool. They were gonna have so much fun.
