A New Home for Jensen

"Okay, baby. Let's go home," Misha replied as he held onto Jensen and carried him to the car, buckling him in his carseat and kissing the younger's forehead. Their time at the park was wonderful, and the couple was glad their little one had fun.

Sharing a fond smile with his husband, the two interlocked hands as they started their drive home.

With their baby being pretty quiet, the two men knew he was pretty ready for a nap. Parking into their driveway, Jared removed Jensen from his carseat, before bringing him into the house. Going to the shorter's nursery, Jared removed the shortalls, socks, and shoes, leaving the little one in just a onesie.

Laying Jensen in his crib, with Button and a pacifier, Jared cooed, "Have a good nap, baby."

Jensen yawned and started to fall asleep, gently sucking his pacifier and holding Button in his arms. Before long, Jensen was all sprawled out in the large crib, now sleeping on his tummy.

Looking down lovingly at their little guy, Jared soon left before partially closing the door.

Meeting his husband in the kitchen, the taller wrapped his arms around Misha, feeling affectionate and giddy as always.

"I think our baby had fun at the park," Jared murmured against the shell of the shorter's ear.

"Yeah. I'm just glad no one seemed to notice his bruises or scars. And how it seemed he wasn't hurt by them touching anything," Misha said worriedly. Hopefully those awful marks on Jensen's body will be gone soon enough, or at least faded away.

Frowning at his partner's tone, Jared pressed a reassuring kiss against Misha's cheek, "He'll be fine."

A few hours later, Jensen woke up, yawning and rubbing his eyes as he sat up in his crib, leaning over the edge and looking down.

Getting the feeling like their boy would be awake, Misha entered the nursery and saw Jensen leaning over the edge of the crib and looking down. He smiled, before scooping up their little one.

"Have a good nap, buddy?" he asked.

Checking Jensen's diaper and seeing it was a bit wet, Misha quickly changed him into a fresh one before bringing the younger to the kitchen to get something to eat.

Looking up from his work and seeing his husband and baby, Jared stood up and gave Jensen butterfly kisses along the freckles of his cheeks, hoping to wake him up.

"No. I feed me. I big boy." Jensen announces, smiling proudly. He was a big boy, and he was perfectly capable of feeding himself, and he wanted his Daddies to see that.

"Sorry, should've known. You are a big boy," Misha cooed lovingly as he placed Jensen's food on his tray, giving him a fork and spoon in case he ever needed them.

Jared looked on proudly, falling in love with their little one all the more.

Jensen smiled and picked up his spoon, scooping up some food and carefully bringing it to his mouth, only spilling a little bit of it.

Smiling brightly at Jensen, and then wiping the little mess from their baby's face, Jared asked, "Anything else you want to do, sweetheart?"

"Play with us? Alright," Misha replied before his husband could say anything. Taking Jensen from his highchair and bringing him to the living room, where his toys were.

Sitting beside their baby, the couple's eyes were bright and twinkling. They felt warm at the fact the younger wanted to play with them.

"What do you want to play with first?" Jared asked.

"Color? Sounds good to me," Jared answered fondly, listening to their boy's giggles. Bringing the box of markers and some coloring books, he deposited them in front of Jensen, then getting one for himself and Misha.

Jensen smiled as he opened a coloring book and started to color, watching to see if Jared and Misha were coloring too.

Grabbing a brown marker, Jared started to color a picture of a moose on the coloring book, while Misha grabbed a light-blue one and started to color a bird. It wouldn't seem right to not color with their little one.

Jensen giggled as he continued coloring his dinosaur, which was now all different colors, but that was okay, because Jensen was just a little boy.

Sneaking a glance at their little one's dinosaur, the couple smiled softly before Jared inquired, "Whatcha drawing, buddy?" Of course, the taller knew, but he just wanted to ask Jensen.
