A New Home for Jensen

While Jared threw most of the pool toys into the pool, so that they floated on top for easy grabs once they got it, Misha helped with Jensen's floatie, putting above the younger's head and managing to get it to his waist.

"There you go, Jen. Now let's go!" Misha said, before all three walked up to the pool and jumped in, splashing water everywhere.

Jensen shivered, as the water was a bit cold, but as soon as he started to move around, he got used to it, giggling and splashing his Daddies as he floated around the pool.

Laughing and already having a good time, the couple quickly grabbed some toys that squirted water and aimed them at Jensen, shooting water at their baby.

Halfway through their water-fight, Misha had surrendered his toy and swam beneath Jensen, before coming up in the water with their little one perched on his shoulders. Now it was a one-on-one fight.

"Try and get Daddy Jared," Misha said, looking up at their little one and smiling brightly.

"No fair!" the taller cried out, dimples showing and hiding a grin.

Jensen giggled and smiled as he sprayed Jared with the toy, laughing evilly, and looking down at Misha. "I got Daddy Jawed!" He yelled.

"Good job, buddy!" Misha praised, before removing Jensen from atop his shoulders and kissing the younger's cheek.

Jared pouted, "Still not fair. It was two against one!"

"No it wasn't," his husband replied teasingly.

Frowning and narrowing his eyes playfully at his partner, Jared got Jensen to sit on his shoulders, supplying a far higher view than with Misha.

Looking up and grinning mischievously, Jared said, "Think you can get Daddy Misha?"

Trying his best to "dodge" their baby's squirts, Misha laughed and eventually surrendered, "I give up!"

"Haha! Knew we'd win, huh, baby?" Jared cheered, giving Jensen a high-five.

Taking their baby off his shoulders, Jared kissed Jensen's cheek fondly, before they went back to swimming, the younger floating and kicking his legs in glee. Swimming was a great idea.

Jensen giggled and kicked his legs, trying to move around in the water, but a swelled diaper and bowlegs made that difficult.

Seeing their baby try to move around in the water, having a bit of difficulty, the couple swam over to Jensen and, Jared staying underwater, helped move the younger's legs faster, so it seemed like he was faster than ever. And so it seemed he was doing it mostly on his own, with Misha watching.

Smiling at his husband and baby swimming around in the water, Misha knew today was already perfect. And it was just the start, then again, perfect days seemed to be a thing of the norm as of late.

Eventually Jared grew a bit tired and came back to the surface, grinning at their giggling baby, "What's so funny?" he asked.

Jensen looked at Jared, and smiled. "You, Daddy." He said, looking up at Jared with his bright green eyes and adorable smile.

Chuckling at their baby's reply, Jared responded, "Yeah, I guess I am pretty funny sometimes." That earned him a fond eye-roll from his partner.

After swimming over to where the two were, Misha asked, "Want to keep playing in the pool, baby?"

"Not weally. Get out soon, Daddy?" Jensen asked, wanting to get out. His heavy, swelled diaper was getting pretty uncomfortable.

"Sure, buddy." Misha replied as he and Jared helped Jensen out of the pool, drying their little one with a fluffy towel before getting him inside.

As Jared changed Jensen's diaper and changed him into a onesie and socks, the shaggy-haired man asked, "Did you have fun swimming, Jen?"

"Yeah! Had lots of fun, Daddy!" Jensen said, as he sat up, enjoying the feeling of a fresh, dry diaper, the faint scent of baby powder lingering in the air.

Blowing a raspberry on their baby's tummy, Jared replied, "That's great, baby. Me and Daddy Misha did too."

Helping Jensen sit up, and keeping an eye so the younger didn't fall, the two met Misha in the living room, dressed in a t-shirt and a pair of jeans, like Jared.

Jensen smiled and held onto Jared, leaning into him, and yawning softly. He was starting to get sleepy, and was getting ready for a nap. All that swimming tired him out.

"Someone's ready for a nap," Misha commented, smiling softly.

Nodding, Jared headed back to the nursery and laid Jensen down in his crib, making sure he had a blanket, a plushie, and his pacifier. Kissing their baby boy's hair, the taller left the nursery.

Jensen yawned again, before closing his eyes and slowly falling asleep, gently sucking on his pacifier, and shifting a bit.

A few hours later, when the sun started to set and everything outside grew darker, Misha had started to make dinner, delicious smells wafting through the air.
