He needs to keep those kids from doing anything as they walk through the beautiful forest... alone... already clearly attracted to each other... with Cass who has a history of "activities"...

*Rubs hands together enthusiastically*

The current party consists of two Davion royals (Nia and Cassander, controlled by Heir of Dalania and Rhaine respectively), three members of the royal guard (Sam, Ru and Dan, controlled by me, Rhaine TheCountryWarrior respectively) and one escort-of-sorts from a different kingdom (Defessus, by TheCountryWarrior).

The Davions were heirs to the Dalania throne, but then the kingdom was wiped out Pompeii-style and the party only survived by taking shelter in the royal castle's underground cave system.

Once the disaster was over, everybody decided to go chill at the Holy Calacian Empire, which is what's going on now. The group's been journeying for several days, over which they're being hunted by a demon and his army of goblins because they're evil and stuff. Right now they've just left an inn after an overnight stay and are now in the midst of a forest, yet to finish their journey to the Empire.

Oh, and Princess Nia has a cursed sword.

^ I'm pretty sure that's all of it.

If he's white and has insane hair, he probably looks like Sam.

Nice! Though just clarifying for new people - Cassander is not a Davion. He is a prince of the Holy Calcian Empire.

And Sam, Ru and Dan are a few random people that ended up affiliated with the Royals through circumstance. Not royal guards.

The actual royal guards are ash piles now, so they're about as close as you can get.

Are Griffins different than usual in this world? Are they hostile or ill-intentioned ? Are they intelligent or not?

Now what would a Griffin be doing next to a suspicious group of people? These don't don't so seem to be related events. So! This Griffin has asked for help from...! (insert drumroll) Harrfald! These shady people have stolen a Mama Griffins eggs and she asked the Hunter Dwarf for help.

Just an idea.
