Fantasy A Nation In Havoc OOC (2.0)

Don't cross

Don't crossbows take literally forever to reload
They do take forever to reload. But historically if a small army was quickly to be made and they had no time to train them, then crossbows would be given to them because the only instruction to use them are point a tiny bit above the enemy an shoot. And it really depends on how heavy it is. If it is light enough, one could just pull it back and place an arrow in it. But if it is heavy, certain things like levers would be used if they were funded better and/or placed it down and had to drag it back with all their might which lead to the really long reload times. If they are small, it would take a very short time to reload them at the price of them not doing that much damage as they wouldn't have that much force.

Bows generally take a lot more skill so for someone like Jenny, a crossbow would be better.
Bows are actually the mainstay weapon for hobbits, which are the race halflings are based on in the rp. She just doesn't like how basic they are in comparison.

Early on, yes, but considering the time period there would be plenty of lever reloaders.

Y'all be talking about crossbows and longbows when, in reality, the pommel is the deadliest weapon of all. Only with the pommel may you end your opponents rightly.

If you want to end him rightly, hold your spear and sword together on your arm, unscrew the pommel of your sword and throw it at him vigorously. Close in with the sword and use your sword or spear, whatever suits you best.

Randomfella Randomfella Come night time, will the innkeeper of the Lazy Fox still be out of commission from that potion? If So, who would one speak to in order to buy a room for the night? I'm toying with the idea of Raimi losing track of time and having to stay there because it's too late for her to get back to the Brazen Fox.

I'm also wondering if the owner of my inn and the owner of yours could be brothers or something in a family full of innkeepers who all name their establishments after foxes, which would be an amusing reason for the two inns to have such similar names.

Done my post for the night, I think Cynth should be on the same moment of time as almost everyone else now.

I think!

He might be asleep, so maybe you can just wake him up.
And yeah, sure, didn't realise i gave it the same animal name lol.

I'm pretty busy today, probably won't get a chance to write anything. If anyone wants to do some Den scenes, just feel free to mention Cynth is in the corner, probably in a meeting looking either annoyed or bored.
