I far prefer longbows historically for battles. To be fair, longbows are generally better than non-heavy crossbows.
Bows generally take a lot more skill so for someone like Jenny, a crossbow would be better.I far prefer longbows historically for battles.
Jenny doesn't.

as someone who practices archery IRL. I can say with confidence that crossbows are for cheaters
They do take forever to reload. But historically if a small army was quickly to be made and they had no time to train them, then crossbows would be given to them because the only instruction to use them are point a tiny bit above the enemy an shoot. And it really depends on how heavy it is. If it is light enough, one could just pull it back and place an arrow in it. But if it is heavy, certain things like levers would be used if they were funded better and/or placed it down and had to drag it back with all their might which lead to the really long reload times. If they are small, it would take a very short time to reload them at the price of them not doing that much damage as they wouldn't have that much force.Don't cross
Don't crossbows take literally forever to reload
Bows are actually the mainstay weapon for hobbits, which are the race halflings are based on in the rp. She just doesn't like how basic they are in comparison.Bows generally take a lot more skill so for someone like Jenny, a crossbow would be better.
Early on, yes, but considering the time period there would be plenty of lever reloaders.Don't cross

*BoomerangY'all be talking about crossbows and longbows when, in reality, the pommel is the deadliest weapon of all. Only with the pommel may you end your opponents rightly.
If you want to end him rightly, hold your spear and sword together on your arm, unscrew the pommel of your sword and throw it at him vigorously. Close in with the sword and use your sword or spear, whatever suits you best.Y'all be talking about crossbows and longbows when, in reality, the pommel is the deadliest weapon of all. Any magic user with the right amount of training could teleport a certain distance, Kruziik's just reached the level of teleporting all over the place with a mere thought.TheCountryWarrior
How far can Kruzlik teleport, and is that ability common for magic users or more a super high level Kruzlik kinda thing?
Randomfella Come night time, will the innkeeper of the Lazy Fox still be out of commission from that potion? If So, who would one speak to in order to buy a room for the night? I'm toying with the idea of Raimi losing track of time and having to stay there because it's too late for her to get back to the Brazen Fox.
I'm also wondering if the owner of my inn and the owner of yours could be brothers or something in a family full of innkeepers who all name their establishments after foxes, which would be an amusing reason for the two inns to have such similar names.
Kruziik walked into the closet and closed the door.
rektAny word on when he's coming out of the closet?
Considering he teleported out, it's either never or he already has. Either way, don't get your hopes up I doubt you're his type. *Insert crowd of black kids screaming*Any word on when he's coming out of the closet?
