Hiya! I'm fairly new to roleplaying but I am pretty creative and love to make stories. I've read through multiple tortorials and help guides one rping but I am defiantly no expert. I submitted my character and Hopefully I did well. I hope to join you all soon!

I had no idea that roleplay was this Slow of a pace. Lol not that I'm complaining. I actually like it. I love the time and consideration people have put into the character thus far.

Slow story sometimes lead to a good story. It gives time for the reader (or however you're enjoying the story) to bond with the characters and learn what they need to know without speeding through to the action. 


That's something I love about roleplaying. We practically experience the same thing as our characters, despite the character's reactions not being the same as our own. No matter how annoying the wait for a new advancement is, the story is what is best.


I don't know what just happened. I get all spiritual or something when I'm tired. xD

If you find this site slow pace, I'd hate to see you in the previous site I used in the past; You only get one post per day, two if you're luck, three if you are trolling. If you like a faster pace role play, usually 1x1 tend to be faster, cause you don't need to wait for others. You can get this sort experience in most 'simple' or 'casual' role plays, just a ware that the amount of effort you put in them sometimes won't be returned; you may receive a 'one liner', or a sparse paragraph describing a single action. However, don't let my words deter you, they can be fun, so long as God modding isn't involed (naturally). I think of them as appetisers before the real meal.

I've seen so many terms like god modding, snowflakes, and shadowing in the help guides I've read. And basically it says not to be that person then give an example. But what exactly are those things exactly? Do you think you can dumb it down for me or show me a place where it tells of it instead of just examples?

Example:

Godmodder dodges with ease and punches person one who then falls to the ground in pain. (<big no no)


Snowflakes are the polar opposites of Mary Sues. Where Mary Sues are flawless at everything, Snowflakes almost completely incompetent. In layman terms, snowflake have far too many weaknesses, whether it be physical, mental, or spiritual. They break at the slightest touch.


Shadowing/Meta playing is simply using knowlage of the role play that your character doesn't know. For example, a character has a secret weakness that the Meta-player some how knew magically, and takes advantage of it.

I advise reading the story before doing anything, just to make sure you fit better in the story.


But to answer your question, very few people know dragons still exist. There wouldn't rally be a need for a dragon hunter. You can be a bounty hunter though, since Kemelia's wanted.

Kinda have to do a slice of life style writing until the plot moves to my location xD  I'm cool with that. Ariana can mix up some poison! Then candy! Then Poison candy! Or she could scry the Grimoire trying to figure out the vague other worldly text that mentions something about dragons.
