A regular, modern day, big city by the sea and in the north. Almost any type of weather can happen here. Tall buildings, clubs, bars, restaurants, anything you can think of that could happen in a popular big city, it can happen here. The east contains the oceans and the west is occupied by a lush forests that stretches for miles, or what seems like forever.

if_you_have_some_32_million_this_mansion_in_texas_can_be_yours_640_01.jpg

On the North Western country side of the city resides the Heros' Mansion. A mansion funded by the Watcher; a wealthy man funding this project to keep the city safe. He has eyes all over the city to watch as he searches for fresh hero material. He only sees what's out in public, never inside the mansion and no audio. So secrets are still safe.

((Reminder: This is open, so you can start off anywhere you want, doing whatever you want until I say otherwise, such as you receiving a letter or needing you to face a villain. Just really describe where you're at. I'll also give you guys the honor of weather control. If you want a certain weather because you want to be dramatic, inbox me and I'll make it so, haha.))

VIATRIX ENTENDRE

Viatrix sighed as she hopped backwards onto the silk sheets of her suite's bed. This was the third hotel she had snuck into this week, and it had took her all morning to conjure a key-card from a dimensional tear when nobody was looking.

The last one had called the cops on her when the hotel room's actual guests had checked in, and Viatrix's legs still felt stiff from all the running. Still, the way she saw it, it wasn't technically a crime to hide out in a hotel room that would be unoccupied anyway, but it seemed the management didn't have the same views she did on the matter.

After a brief moment, Viatrix let out an annoyed groan, realising that she'd left her backpack in the reception. Cursing herself for being so clumsy, she reluctantly rolled off the bed and strode for the door - only to stop short at the sight of a piece of paper that had been slid under it.

Strange, her hotel room had no registered guests who would receive mail, and nobody was supposed to know Viatrix was there. Somewhat nervously, she lifted the letter off the ground and tore it open.

A few seconds passed.

She began reading faster.

Her eyes widened.

Within the minute, she was out the door, running for her backpack. She wouldn't be back to her hotel room anytime soon.

DD17BDE2-A150-4318-B25A-2F950C620232.jpegThe Park was usually a place for people to exercise or bring their kids to play, or even just go for a nice stroll, but today something terrible had happened. Earlier, Zygnor, wearing a dark hooded cloak open, black, cotton arm warmers, black jeans, a dark blue shirt, and carrying a small messanger back, was robbed. Quickly, he chased the thief through alleys and found the perp digging through thinking he was safe. Before Zygnor could confront him, the thief had ingested a small vile from the bag. The man dropped everything as he stared at the sky shaking. Zygnor knew the man was no more, for the vile contained a soul of a monster that would now occupy the thief’s body.

Starting back now, Zygnor was chased into the park where he’s now in combat with the monster. The man was no more, as his body double in size and hair grew to feathers. Zygnor was pushed back and he slid to a stop landing on his hands and knees. The monster jumped, missing Zygnor as he rolled to the right. The people of the park began to run away in a panic as the monster lunges at Zygnor once more. Before it got close, he raised his hand sending up a black triangular panel in defense. With perfect timing, the creatures Head was now disconnected, laying on the floor. “Shoot,” Zygnor sighed softly. The monster’s soul was a perfect ingredient for some potions and spells within his knowledge. Since it came in contact with the human, it was useless. “I’m never gonna find one of those again,” Zygnor continued in a slightly high voice as the body began to quickly deteriorate into nothing. He looked around to make sure no one was around and saw he was alone. He fixed his cape and began walking towards the exit of the park only to be stopped by a slight buzzing sound. Looking into the air, a small drone flew by way up high and dropping something that seemed to be fluttering down. “What is that?” He asked himself. As the object floated closer, Zygnor reached up and grabbed it. It was a letter, but for who? No one seemed to be around, and he had recently learned about a law against reading other people’s mail, but curiosity began to strike. ‘Can’t be illegal if it doesn’t have a name,’ he thought with a chuckled. Reading it, he grew wary. What if it was a trap? What if it was dangerous? And who is this “Watcher”? Zygnor took a deep breath and began to head straight towards a sushi restaurant close by. From there, after he finished a meal, he’d make his way towards mentioned in the letter.

Anton Girdeaux((Ger-doo))

Anton stood from behind his desk after sending out his email. Power, seer d through his veins, like sizzling grease on a moist steak(delicious). “Delicious.” He thought to himself he said while he opened his cigar box and fiddled with his cigar cutter in his hand. The cold metal wasn’t something he felt like holding, because it took away from the warmth of wrath he felt on his back and very fibers of his skin. But this was cause for celebration. To the second, the minute and very hour, he mentally made a time stamp of this moment in his living history. Soon he would prove himself, soon he would join the rightful ranks of being apart of this “new world”.

He walked towards the window. If his new office. Sure, the world wasn’t what it was once, but one must take pleasures no matter where they are found. ‘Ssss hah’ he hissed out in satisfaction as he cut the cigar and placed the bitter flavored raspberry paper to his lips and inhaled. The feeling of euphoria entered his mind and began clouding, yet clarifying his senses. In a balanced-counter balanced grogginess. His mind flooded with bliss as he looked back at his computer and re read the email that was sent out. It was real. Right now, at this moment. This was his pivoting moment. Where he, the great mind that he was, was robbed. Why?....WHY?! He spartan kicked his chair discombobulating it awkwardly across the marble floor. He walked over to his couch still enjoying his victory cigar. What of his guests? ‘First things first, Dear Anton’, he thought to himself. ‘Première la rèception’(first the reception) he spoke in French to himself. ‘Puis mes invités.’(then the guests. After all, what kind of hosts would he be to not have at least some type of ball.

The world may not exist how it used to be, but a servant was still a servant as long as it had something to work for, and a family to provide for. He walked to the exit of his office and spoke French to one of the maids, ordering that they prepare for a reception, for the richest clientele still around, and the guests of honor. Everything must be perfect for them, he needed to ensure their protection. They were valuable, and necessary if they were to advance the good of mankind.

76534901be5e46e440f649c59e10115b(1).jpgZygnor finished his meal with a satisfied smile. The food on Earth had such a different taste than anything in his world. It was upsetting that Zygnor hadn't visited his family in while yet, but he knew they wouldn't let him leave again. After paying his bill, he stood and exited the restaurant with confused stares by strangers. Ever since he came to this world, many people thought he was odd for wearing a hooded cape everywhere he went. Some called him a nerd thinking he participated in live action role play. It never bothered him. He was always having fun and finding out new things. Being limited to his own world wasn't as glorious as he remembers, but having no limits to wander around Earth was definitely amazing.

Walking down the street, he looked around to see where he was at. The street named Jackson didn't seem to be anywhere within the perimeter. 'Maybe it's outside the city,' he thought to himself. The fact that an unknown sender delivered a letter via drone was strikingly odd. And a bit scary. Zygnor stayed ready for anything that was to come. Anything could happen and he wanted to be ready. 'What if there's a test to examine my powers?' He questioned to himself. 'Or an ambush...' Different scenarios were flashing by his mind as he couldn't help but to imagine what was to come. He turned a corner only to run into a girl who was running out of a hotel. Zygnor stumbled back, as the girl's force was unexpected, and his letter fell between the two of them. "Oh my," he gasped in a light voice, "I'm so very sorry! I didn't see you running; I was lost in thought." His voice, kind and high, Zygnor smiled softly hoping the girl would forgive him. Just then he looked down to see his letter on the floor between them. "Oh, that's mine," he claimed as he reached down for the letter.

Lee wakes up as his bus comes to a halt. "Last stop everyone!" the bus driver yells. Lee stands up stretching and yawning. "Damn. I expected that ride to be longer." He says with a disappointed tone. He pushes and moves through the others getting off the bus until he reaches the front. He hops off the bus and walks to the baggage holding stand a few feet away. He approaches the bag clerk and notices she's gossiping on the phone. "Excuse me. I sent my bag in overnight and i'm here to pick it up." She pauses her conversation and looks at him, obviously annoyed. She then resumes her conversation, totally dismissing him. He squints and bites his lip trying to hold back his frustration from her lack of respect. "Now you look her you...." He stops and takes a deep breath. "Can i just check out my bag please?" She tells the person on the other line to hold on as she faces him to process his request, handing him a piece of paper and a pend before reaching down and slamming his bag of the table. "OK! Wow! Yeah thanks alot!" He snatches his bag and storms off muttering under his breath "Stupid dumb bitch, i'd gladly snap your neck if i could." He walks down the city streets shouldering his bag, staring down at maps on his phone as he tries to figure out how to get to his apartment.

Via had to flay her arms around just to avoid toppling over, though she noted with slight embarrassment that the girl she had knocked into had barely stumbled back. On top of that, it wasn't until this girl started talking that Viatrix realised it wasn't a girl at all.

"N-No, I'm sorry, I should've payed more attention to-" Viatrix stopped as her eyes hitched onto the dropped letter. Swiftly, she snatched it up before the other person could reach down for it and examined it closely.
"Zy-gnor?" She read off the front, casting a look at the hooded stranger. "I got a letter just like this... you've been invited to Watcher's mansion, aren't you?" That last part she kept at just above a whisper, flicking her gaze around the street. After a brief moment, Via seemed to remember the age-old adage about reading other people's mail, and awkwardly extended it back to Zygnor. "I was starting to think the invite might have been a trap." She huffed, pulling her own letter out of her jacket pocket.

F10CE8FA-7372-41B2-AF20-471EE083D253.jpeg”Hey, wait!” Zygnor called as the girl snatched his letter. She read his name in a confused tone. Zygnor raised an eyebrow thinking she was going to make fun of him by calling his name fake and saying he’s a nerd or a geek. To his surprise, she mentioned a letter of her own knew about the Watcher’s mansion. Her gaze upon the streets signaled this wasn’t an ordinary thing and maybe using powers wasn’t a public thing here. ‘This doesn’t mean a trap still isn’t a possibility,’ he thought to himself. “Yes,” he finally spoke reaching back for his letter and placing it in his cape’s pocket, “I was given this letter by a drone as it flew by after I stopped a monster.” Zygnor didn’t flinch, but he wanted to as the girl reach into her jacket, something he’d witnessed before in a bad situation, so he stood still ready. Until he noticed the same letter was in her hand. “Oh,” he chuckled, “my bad, I thought you were going to shoot me.” Zygnor was still wary about this whole secret admiration with suspicious mailing. “I still don’t know what’s going on, or who this man is, but I figured I’d check it out. I thought it was close by, but now I’m not so sure.” Zygnor looked up to see a bird perched at the wire. The letter claimed to have eyes all over, but how? That drone may have been how. Maybe the watcher has drones flying all over. Or maybe he uses a different method. The whole thought of this was suspicious. “Sorry,” he looked back down to meet the girl’s eyes again. “I was lost in thought. My name is Zygnor Aknilyo, It’s nice to meet you.” Zygnor introduced himself with an extended hand seeing as how the girl received a letter and must have some special talent or ability. His curiosity was digging in him as usually and wanted to continue the conversation to find out what it was.

"Viatrix Entendre." She replied, slipping her invitation back into her jacket and offering a curt sort-of wave. Squinting, Viatrix dragged her eyes over the robed girl dude, curious as to what about him had earned his invitation. Momentarily, she entertained the idea that Zygnor was some sort of space lizard that used the robes to cover their alien body, though quickly dismissed it as she continued, "So I'm assuming there's others-" Her eyes once again darted around the street. "Do you know how many? Who the Watcher is? How he found us?" She was practically bursting with questions, but it was apparent that Zygnor knew about as much as she did on the matter.

After pacing a little, Viatrix at last managed to hold still, and stuck her gaze back on Zygnor. "Well, assuming the worst, we ought to find others who received the same invitations we did. Then, if it is a trap, we'll at least be prepared." She still didn't sound too hopeful, but Viatrix felt that she had more reason to trust Zygnor than the piece of paper that had appeared under her door.

Viatrix seemed to be examining Zygnor and he still felt like she thought he was weird. She was bursting question after question asking the same things he’d been asking himself. He looked around to see everyone just acting normal as everyday. No one else seemed to be confused or worried. “As far as I can see,” he replied, “we seem to be the only ones around here. Maybe we’ll run into more either on the way or once we get there.” Zygnor met eyes with the Viatrix again. She seemed hopeful, but also cautious as she mentioned to prepare for the worst. Not a bad idea seeing as how they don’t know what to expect.

The wind blew softly as Zygnor brought down his hood. It was a nice feeling, with his hair slowly moving with it, but no time for nice, they had to find who else had the letters. He placed s finger on his chin as he looked towards the street. “Well,” he began, “Do you acquire an ability to find such specific people?” His attention reaches towards Viatrix again, and softly smiled. “Because I don’t at the moment. And let’s say we do find these people, who’s to say they’re not going to attack us?” Zygnor felt like maybe he was over thinking scenarios again. He looked behind the girl to see a bus sign for a bus station. “Hey,” he started again as he walked past Viatrix towards a sign. The sign was pointing down the intersection towards the bus station from the street they stood on. “This is what you guys use for transportation, right? Maybe it has a map and we can use it to go towards the mansion.” ‘The only down side,’ he thought, ‘was they may not stop the bus if they find others with letters on the sides of the road.’

Lilith's eyes fluttered open at the morning rays of sun. She had only decided to rest a few hours before but by now she was good to go again, energized and ready to continue exploring all the things that the mansion held. Recently, she had been particularly interested in one instrument she'd wondered upon one rainy evening. Opposite to many of the other instruments she knew of this one could not be easily transported without the need for assistance but that seemed for the better, seeing as it would be easily stolen if that weren't the case. The instrument was an elongated board that held another floor, this second one seemingly used for placing books. Or at least something similar to a book, Lilith wasn't sure yet.

However upon arriving to the room where the instrument lay she immediately lost her interest in exploring more of it's functions or even reading about it. The mansion was at the moment quite barren to any sounds, particularly voices. Lilith had always been a very social person, as far as she could remember. Whether that be a result of her travels or simply her nature was unknown to her but she did know she couldn't bare it for too long. She always felt the need to sense some presence close to her but it often was the case that she had to find new ways to deal with this lack of contact. On that note, she often spent many days looking out the mansions windows or waiting at the entrance just in case people had been invited. She knew people received letters each day and the odds of someone accepting had to be higher by the minute. So, it seemed instead of playing her instrument, today, Lilith would play the waiting game.

Glancing down at her hands, Viatrix figured her abilities wouldn't be much help locating other people with letters. Her eyes flicked back up when Zygnor asked if buses were a means of transportation. Suddenly her lizard-man theory didn't seem too far off.

"Um, yeah." Viatrix began walking toward the bus station. "If we can get to the mansion without walking then it sounds ideal to me." She still kept half an eye out for someone who seemed like they were hurrying to an organized event, whatever that looked like. It wasn't out of the question they might find another letter holder on the way there.

On the way, Viatrix kept shooting sideways glances at her newfound ally. "You're not from around here, are you?" That robe of his drew looks from passing pedestrians, but none that seemed to have any murderous intent. Via still couldn't help but feel a little nervous.

Lee's phone freezes as he reaches the the street curb, he scoffs in disbelief and shakes his phone. "You have got to be kidding me." The maps app then closes and an envelope appears on his screen. "Oh for fucks sake." He grits his teeth annoyed knowing what the email is for. "Got sick of me burning your letters now you're hacking my phone eh?." He smirks as he looks up from his phone, looking for anyone suspicious giving an annoyed chuckle. "Well here's my answer to that." He chucks his phone into the street glaring at it with with disdain, as it is trampled on by pedestrians. His gaze then shifts to two strangers heading towards the bus station, taking notice that one has a letter. He groans and turns away, heading down the street towards an alley way to avoid being seen. "I need to avoid any suspicious behavior." He relaxes his body a little and takes a deep breath as he puts on a casual face, making a sudden turn away from the alley way, continuing along the sidewalk with the normal foot traffic. "Now time to find a map."

The heroes’ mansion was a beautiful place to live. Gardens, pool, ballrooms, the like. Entering inside, the place seemed enormous compared the outside. Down the hall, sifting through papers while walking through the halls with echoes of clacking with each step she took, Violet was reading through police reports of missing victims. “I don’t why they expect us to do all the work,” she grunted. After saving several missing children from a mutated pedophile that covered his tracks, the city police seem to think the heroes could find anyone. Not paying attention, she nearly ran into a maid who was frantically cleaning. “Please, don’t rush,” Violet spoke softly with a smile. Anton was going crazy preparing a celebration for the new arrivals who retrieved letters. Letters were sent everyday, but Anton feels there’s going to be a group today. “He does have good intuition,” she sighed as she continued walking. “Anton!” She yelled through the halls. “Ease up on the servers! They’re people not robots!” Turning the corner down another hall towards the stairway leading down to the foyer, she wanted to get some fresh air. “I wonder where Lilith is,” Violet wondered. How can she be a leader if she can’t find the only other two people in the mansion?

8D83685F-3421-4839-909D-6A9550778B42.jpegZygnor smiled as Viatrix agreed with the idea of a bus. It was great to know someone else was different too, but she seems more at home here. He faced Viatrix as they were walking to answer her. “Um,” he started, “yeah, I’m really not.” This wasn’t the first time he was asked that question. The first time, he was laughed at, the second time he was thought to be an extra terrestrial. How would she react; his new found ally? “In short, I’m from another dimension. I found earth and wanted to visit, I may have overstayed, but it’s nice here.” Zygnor noticed the bus station was close and stoped by the entrance. He turned to see a man staring at them as he walked out towards an alley. “That’s not strange at all,” he muttered. “You think that guy had a letter?”

"Another dimension, huh?" Viatrix wondered if she'd ever stumbled into his dimension when using her power, but didn't recall one where black hooded robes had been the vogue. She paused in step with Zygnor as she too spotted the peculiar figure recede into an alleyway. "Perhaps," Via replied to Zygnor's letter suggestion, "Though why would he be avoiding us?" Her gaze followed the figure until it became obscured by pedestrians.

After a brief moment, she kept walking. "We're all heading in the same direction anyway, I suppose we'll find out soon enough."

Lee heads down into the underground subway terminal, stopping at a billboard at the bottom of the stairs. He grabs a map from the rack while glancing over his shoulder to see if he was being followed. He scratches his chin and shrugs as he opens up the map and heads to terminal B. "Now where do i go from here?" He studies the map, making a path with his eyes from the next stop to his apartment, he thinks to himself. "It would be easier to walk..." He glances around from behind the map. "Screw it. I could use another ride." He folds up the map and stands there waiting for his train.

It was early morning in the City when the fog began to role in from the ocean. It was a sudden almost supernatural fog which seemed to cling to the shores. Strangely the beams of sunlight didn't seem to penetrate this ethereal mist. Leaving the few beach goers hoping to catch some fish scratching their heads. Their confusion didnt seem to last long as large figures began to emerge from the mist walking ashore with water dripping off of their slimy blueish grey skin.

The first scream was delayed as the fog began to dissipate and reveal the grotesque beings who now seemed to be gathering together around the scariest one, the one with the glowing eyes, Captain Nyx. A cruel smile spread across his face as the people ran for their vehicles.

The shortest one Spoke first in a strange language. "captain the signal seems to have emanated from inland, we will have to go through this human settlement." the beings voice was guttural and sounded like a blob trying to talk through a mouthful of peanut butter. "Well that blows, but nevertheless with the positive coverage we could get from this acquiring resources will become easier. So we need to play the good guy for now. that means no greeting natives with plasma shells...Zorn do you understand." the captain said to the tall one with tentacles dangling from his face, apparently Named Zorn.

The taller alien responded with a growl and a nod pushing the safety on his plasma rifle and letting it hang at his hip. With a gesture from the captains organic hand the three big aliens began their long walk towards the Heroes Mansion.

(open to interaction...most would likely see this as an invasion of sorts.)

6E090927-9A3F-4217-884D-AA96CB51DE1A.jpegZygnor continued walking with Viatrix. Seeing the man examine the two then immediately avoid them was strange. “I suppose you’re right if he does have a letter,” he agreed with Viatrix. They made their way into the bus station while silence turned to conversations among patrons boarding or waiting for buses. Zygnor felt like this girl would be a dependable ally, maybe even a friend. So he began to talk about his background. “Well, back to my world,” he started, “my dimension mainly consists of a red sky and decaying foliage. For Earth, I learned that’s bad, for us, it actually strengthens our vegetation. I know this is all hard to believe, but I assure you, I really am not from Earth.” He stoped as he heard strange conversations as everyone began crowding around the television monitors displayed around the station. “That’s very suspicious, too,” he muttered to Viatrix. “Let’s see!” He gestured at Viatrix to follow as they squeezed passed a few people to view the TV. “Even with HD cameras,” a news anchor stated, “our crew are not able to fully capture the strange beings who emerged from the sea. They are described as blue, tall, and not of this world. All citizens occupying the Bay Area are reported to evacuated immediately and everyone else is recommended to seek shelter.” The tv monitor was displaying live coverage of the beach as the news anchor was talking. It showed a huge blur speaking to other blurs that seemed odd. ‘What are those things suppose to be?’ Zygnor thought thought to himself. ‘And how are they blocking their visuals?’ If the heroes mansion was already occupied, then where are the heroes. Time was wasting and everyone began to panic. Pushing through Viatrix and Zygnor, everyone was exiting the building as workers and security tried to keep everyone in line. ‘Not of this world?’ Zygnor thought as he looked around. His attention found Viatrix through the panic and rushed to her. “If the heroes haven’t arrived,” he said loud enough to hear over the screaming, “then we have to do something. Or at least stall them. What if it’s an invasion of your planet?” Zygnor looked towards the monitor as the creatures began walking up the beach. “If they’re not friendly, we have to keep them from reaching the city.” He turned back to Viatrix and extended his hand hopefully for an agreeing shake, “are you with me?”

Violet reached the foyer of the mansion as she heard the news from a distant room. The living room was displaying a news report of strange creatures arriving on the beach and heading towards the city. Without hesitation, she headed to a button that alerts all occupants of the mansion that there’s is work to be done, before she could reach the button, the tv played a strange sound to grab her attention. The display began to corrupt as it was trying to show the word ‘NO’. Confused, Violet walked closer to the tv as the word began to change from ‘NO’ to ‘NEW RECRUITS.’ Still confused, she stood as the monitor began to display the news coverage again. Were those blurry creatures the new recruits? Or is this a practice for the new recruits to showcase their talents? The Watcher was a big annoyance to Violet. Even if it was a practice, there was a chance the new recruits could fail, and that’ll take more time for the three heroes to get the location of the event taking place. Instead, she grabbed a phone, trying to connect with Anton and Lilith to inform them of a meeting in the living room and how they need to stay put until further notice.

Lilith was as attentive as a guard dog as she looked on through the window. There hadn't been anything interesting to speak of except the occasional flock of birds flying in a formation. This interested her for a good few minutes before she retuned to stare at the same scenery that was almost fully implanted into her mind. This is starting to seem hopeless. She thought, sliding her fingers across the window frame. It hadn't been the first time she spent countless hours staring out windows but the more she did it the more she began to feel trapped. She didn't dislike her current teammates but Anton seemed like he had no room for her chatter and Violet, being the leader of the three seemed to always be busy in some way or another and Lilith would probably just be a nuisance. In the middle of her thought she was interrupted by ringing. Lilith jolted up and rushed to the phone. It was odd to get a call but once she picked up and heard their leader it all connected. Lilith looked back through the window one last time, assuring herself that nothing would happened if she looked away before rushing to the living room for their meeting.

Alec Sage

Heroes Peter Season 1.png

Alec Sage, an extraordinary individual in his late 20's, sat at his rather expensive desk. In front of him was a display of multiple panels covering nearly the whole wall, which was a glossy white. Behind him, outside of his glass door lied a beautiful view of the city. Turns out researching and modifying the science of biology during a time of super powers really gets your name on the door. Alec stands up out of his leather chair and walks over to the door, gawking out into the amazing view.

'Never gets old.' He thinks to himself before turning back around and taking a seat.

"Hey Sam, pull up the records for Patient #49, will you?"

"Right away." A robotic voice sounded seemingly from all around the room.

Sam was an A.I., similar to Siri and Alexa, except Sam is much more advanced than any of them. In the time span of two seconds, the series of monitors faded on, first revealing a Username and Password screen.

Alec did not even bother reaching for his keyboard before saying, "Alec Sage."

Immediately, the sign-in screen faded and the records for Patient #49 appeared. Alec sat in silence observing it, as Patient #49 was recently deceased, and curiosity still managed to strike, "Sam, what was this guy's ability again?"

"Shapeshifter, specifically that of an Animal Shapeshifter."

"Well that explains a lot." Alec mutters, seeing that the photograph taken after the death was of a man being half human-half bird, "Alright Sam, I'm heading out for some lunch, you can shut her down for now."

And there Alec sat, motionless and waiting for the screens to fade to that familiar black, but they remained. Alec, losing his patience, exclaimed in a stronger tone, "Sam! Power off the system, please!"

"I can't," Sam replies in a somewhat surprised voice, as this A.I. had been designed with an emotional aspect.

"What do you mean you ca-" Alec and his angry tone was cut off when the screens began to glitch out, "Are we being hacked?!" And before Sam could respond, an image appeared for a split second, appearing to be a message of some sort.

Before Alec could analyze what this was, the screens abruptly cut off. "Son of a bitch, we were hacked. Sam, trace any sign of any outside source that could have gotten into our mainframe, now!"

Sam replies, "I don't think we were hacked."

"What are you talking about? If this was not a hack, then what the hell was it?"

The system rebooted, and an image that had been snapped by Sam of the message was put up on the screen, where Alec proceeded to read through it carefully. "The Watcher?" Alec says to himself in a concerned but also curious tone.

Sam's voice suddenly blares, "Would you like me to upload the address to your watch? I can already tell you are curious."

It was true that Alec's curiosity was invested, but he still found it dangerous to go to a random address, especially without any power to protect himself. At the moment, Alec had not absorbed a super power in several weeks, and had lost the last one he absorbed due to how long he held onto it. "No, not the address. Point me towards the nearest Super Human; I'm going to want a new power before I check this place out."

Sam replied almost instantly, "The nearest Super Human is named Jimmy Johnson, who possesses the ability of a slightly heightened sense of smell."

"Umm, I was thinking the nearest Super Human that has a power that could potentially be useful in the event of an ambush or something else going wrong?"

"Oh, of course. Well..." Sam pauses for a brief moment, having to search more thoroughly, "Ah, VIATRIX ENTENDRE; a Super Human with the ability to teleport either from place to place or from dimension to dimension... Her ability is specifically known as Blink."

"Great, a Dimension Jumper." Alec says sarcastically before letting out a sigh, "Those are fun people..."

"Maybe you should give her a chance." Sam responds in a somewhat condescending tone.

"What? I just need her power, I'm not asking her out on a date."

"Well, she appears to be with someone who's power I can't identify, which must mean he or she is not of this world."

"So what, another Dimension Jumper?"

"Could be, but it is most likely an Alien species or something of that kind."

"Whatever... All I need is Via... Twi- Twix's power? Then I'll make my way to this address. Do me a favor and upload the address and the position of the girl to my watch."

"Right away."

After a few seconds, Alec takes his smart watch off of the charging dock, with Sam and all of the info now uploaded to it. He pulls open the glass door and walks out into the hallway, suddenly excited about this new Blink power he is going to acquire. He is snapped out of his thoughts, however, when a beeping from his watch emits signifying an alert.

He talks down to the watch, as Sam is now within it, "Is this something I should be worried about?"

"I would think so." Sam replies before creating a holographic screen from the watch, revealing the latest Breaking News. Alec did not really notice the audio, but was fascinated when he noticed what appeared to be blurs approaching.

"Doesn't seem like an immediate threat, just some people or ghosts taking a walk." Alec says before motioning on the holographic to disable it.

Alec eventually emerges out of the doors of the building he works in and begins to make his way over to Viatrix Entendre and whoever else is with her.

(Pretty much open for interaction on the street)

As he stands there waiting an announcement over there terminal speaker plays. "Attention all passengers headed to the bay area, all trips are cancelled until further notice due to unforeseen events at the shore. Lee closes his eyes and nods his head as he claps his hands together pressing them against his lip, his blood boiling at the fact that nothing today has gone right. He mutters to himself "That is it....i am officially pissed." He takes a step forward towards the stairs back the street, the ground cracking under his foot. His head begins to pulse painfully. He winces and becomes a bit dizzy, stumbling into pillar. "Damn it...." He takes controlled breathes as he tries to calm down. "Breathe....breathe." He keeps breathing, holding his head as the pain slowly subsides. "I'll just calmly go and investigate." The pain now gone as he starts up the stairs, his face casual as he continues to mutter to himself. "And the i'll casually, kicks someone's ass. He reaches the top of the steps and spots a taxi parked with the driver inside taking his lunch break.

"Perfect." He walks toward the vehicle, climbing in on the passenger side. The driver shocked, proceeds to tell him he's on his lunch break, lee looks at him with indifference and places his hand on the drivers chest. "I'm going to cut to the chase. You're driving me towards the shore, If you refuse...." The driver starts to feel heavy pressure on his chest and begins to gasp for air as lee smiles at him confidently. "I'll cave your god damn chest in." He leans in close to the driver looking him in the eyes. "Now nod if we are clear." The driver nods as a tear drops from his eye, lee takes the pressure off of the drivers chest, removing his hand as he adjusts himself in his seat. As the driver begins to pull off lee notices a familiar man he had seen on the cover of a scientific article exit a building and head towards the direction of the bay area. He points to him out to the driver, then to the puddle of water that had formed from a leaking fire hydrant. "I want you to splash that man. I don't much care for his face." The driver nods and speeds up, driving over the puddle, sending a big splash towards the pedestrians making their way to check out the scene.

What a beautiful day to go to the beach. Sike. Romeo glared at the fog beginning to form at the edge of the sea. The fog that was going to ruin a perfectly good day at the beach, and the last bit of R&R for him before work the next day. Rolling up the sand towel he had laid on the shore, he cursed as his toe banged up against a metal bucket that some kid must have left on a earlier visit to the beach.

Withstanding the pain, he trudged through the sand, eyes squinting through the mist for a glimpse of a grey altima. As he looked around for his car, he heard screams behind him, and quickly turned around to survey the scene.

Everyone was running towards the parking lot, and although Romeo couldn't see what they were running from he knew enough to turn tail and run.

Alec quickened his pace as he was now wary of the approaching mist containing what he now clarified as "The Blurs". He sure did not want to be caught in the middle of that, especially without any powers. His power walk, however, had been cut off when a massive splash of water soaked him.

"Aghh, Damnit! Who the hell?" Alec exclaims as he glances towards the source of the water splash, noticing a speeding taxi driving away. He lets out a groan of annoyance and anger instead of calling out to the driver, not in the mood to start up any conflict when he has a time schedule.

He tries to wring the water out of his trench coat that he had been wearing, but it proves mostly unsuccessful. "That guy had to have done it on purpose; was going at least 15 over." He again exclaims out loud. Then again, he wasn't too liked by the population, mostly due to the fact that people think he is responsible for the death of people with abilities, such as Patient #49.

However, in reality, he was trying to-- Actually, yeah, he has conducted experiments on Super Humans that have resulted in death, and what makes people even more angry is that he is protected by the government no matter what he does. Realizing the Taxi driver's intentions, Alec takes a calming breath before continuing his walk to the subway, which was where the girl most likely still was, according to his GPS.

"That was entertaining." Says a voice emitting from the watch.

"Shut up, Sam."

Lee exhales a sigh of relief. "That felt good." He leans back relaxed in the seat as the fog begins to envelop the taxi, he stares out the window as the driver slows down, explaining that he can't see. Lee glances over at him. "Your point?" He turns his gaze back to the the outside, staring into the fog. "Your will drive until....." The driver rear ends a car, jerking lee forward a bit. "Fucking hell man!" He glares at the driver who recoils in fear. Lee looks away out the window, sighing as he rubs his brow. "Just....go." He waves his hand is dismissal as the driver runs out of the car disappearing into the fog. He shakes his head as he opens the door, stepping out of the car. "Unfucking believable...." He slams the door and walks the rest of the way towards the shore.

Viatrix paused outside the subway entrance, a detail catching her eye. The pedestrians around them had all panicked and began putting distance between themselves and the beach, all but one, a single man who was drenched in water, and quite notably walking toward them. Via nudged Zygor. "These things are coming out of the ocean, right?" She muttered, glad that the crowd had taken the noise with them. "I don't know about you, but that dude over there looks like he just walked out of the ocean."

True, the guy looked human, but who was to say these things couldn't shapeshift? Viatrix had already drawn her deduction.

Discreetly, Via snapped her fingers behind her back, opening a rift over a fire hydrant the shady dude was about to walk past and pulling through a version that had burst - blasting an explosive spray of water in his general vicinity. Viatrix then took the opportunity to grab the sleeve of Zygnor's robe and hurry down into the subway. The sooner they got to that beach, the better.
