Fandom A Chance Meeting at Ilex Forest

"It doesn't seem right to do otherwise.. mind you they well never leave the forest, they love it to much and they're dyingly loyal to it. But I can't keep them here all their lives, well I suppose I could but you get the idea." She sighed sadly.

"Yes they will.. should they be doing what makes them happiest?" She asked, dating the answer

"That depends on what that is," replies Kayla. "You mustn't forget that we are all your servants, Ylldiena. Perhaps it is our sole purpose. And if so, we ought to accept it."

Liese leads the others around the bend.

"Of course." She said simply, thing about it all. She made a hard decision then. She broke her direct control over them, though she wasn't ready to give then their memories back.

Liese feels it first, but a glance at the others indicates they all feel different. Only Joey seems unaffected.

"Mother gave us our minds back," she says simply. "Let us proceed to feed her now."

Joey scrambles onto the Shaymin bot.

"I've done what's right...why am I do scared?" She asked.

The other children too more time to consider... "Why would she do that?" Perali asked.

"It feels funny, but we should get the food back."

Kayla nuzzles her daughter. "It's because you fear they will leave, sweet child of mine."

"Perhaps she wanted to present is with a token of trust," replies Liese.

"I kinda like it...think she'll take it back?" Asks Dandelion as the group pauses.

She simply nuzzled into her mother, the touch comforting.

"I don't know.." says Liliyle.

"If she already broke it, why would she want it again?" Perali says.

"Even if she did. We probably wouldn't notice."

"These thoughts are idle," says Liese impatiently. "Let us move on and save the talk for home."

Dandelion frowns. "I don't know if I like this. If she really had perfect control over us and let us go, why would we go back?"

Joey's beginning to yawn.

"They're taking time.."

"She's still mother." Offered Perali, shocked that they would think of leaving.

"Just because she gave us our free will, doesn't mean that she's letting us go." Liliyle said.

Buttercup stayed silent... She trusted Ylldiena. But she trusted her brother as well..

"Patient, love. They're probably still figuring out what you've done."

Liese huffs. "Such fickle hearts. Now let us return."

Joey and Rose follow. Dandelion pauses, then looks at Buttercup. "What should we do?"

"I've lost dandelion..." She could sense his turmoil.

The children followed their sister, but Perali looked back at the eeveelutions before turning to her sisters and brother.

"They're still family dande."

"Maybe not," reassures Kayla.

Dandelion finally turns and follows the others. The whole group arrives back at the home.

Ylldiena's heart leapt for joy as they all came back. "How do you all feel?"

"Weird.." Perali said, getting an agreement from Liliyle.

"Told you," smiles Kayla.

Liese makes a sweeping motion with one arm. "Your children are confused, mother. Why did you give us our minds?"

Dandelion looks upset, but stays quiet.

She took a deep breath. "I gave it to you.. because it would be irresponsible of me to keep it." She said. "I..I'm afraid that I've been selfish, keeping your minds was me making sure you would never leave the temple.. but I recognize this as wrong now. Even if you don't." She explained.

The others stay silent.

Liese nods slowly. "Mother...I wish to give it back to you. I am most content in your service and would rather you retained control of me."

Dandelion looks surprised at this. Joey doesn't know what's going on.

"Yeah, me too." "I do as well" the sisters offered up.

Ylldiena sighed, she had thought this might happen. "See, the funny thing is..believe it or not that decision you're making is a sign of your free will. If you were under my control you would automatically think it was the right thing for me to do. And that's the point, I dint want you stuck under every word I say.."

Liese nods. "I recognize this fact, mother, but I am a robot. I exist to serve, and I wish to obey that duty."

"Well I'm NOT a robot," says Dandelion. "And neither is Buttercup or Joey. I dunno if I like being controlled at all -- but now that I'm free I'm confused."

The other children agree again, though not as quickly as last time

"I apologize.. I don't expect gratitude from you..I only wish to fix my wrongs."Ylldiena said facing dandelion. "If you wish to then leave "

(Brb)

Liese shakes her head. "You needn't apologize. Simply put me as I was, please."

Dandelion pauses. "Leave? You wish...for us to go? That's it?"

Joey finally senses trouble in the room and looks around nervously.

"I'm afraid I must soak to you one at a time.. Liese, I wish to make you a deal all if you actually." She says looking to her daughters. "One week, that's it. One week with your minds returned and then we'll decide." New she turned back to dandelion. "That's the opposite of want. I wish we could all stay in here and never leave, but I give you the choice."

Buttercup glances at her brother nervously.

"I'll accept that," replies Liese. "Nonetheless, I doubt my mind will change. May we speak together?"

"I'll stay," says Dandelion, "Just to see what happens."
