"I see no reason not to.. though in that regard I hope it's not insulting to want to think about it more before I commit." She said, her face still beaming with pride. "I want to choose what is best fur the forest and you, those decisions I try not to make lightly."

Buttercup started to chase the vaporeon playfully, pretending to be a scary monster.

"We cherish every moment with you to gamgam!" Perali says.

"I understand, mother," replies Liese. "We exist to serve you and your purpose. I only hope I provided useful insight on doing so."

Rose squeaks in fright and runs to Joey, picking him up in her mouth and then scrambling behind Perali.

Dandelion laughs. "Oh, Joey -- looks like Rose's protective instincts got a bit overzealous!"

Kayla stifles a giggle.

"You did my dearest." She replied hugging her daughter, making sure she could feel every inch of it despite her robotic form.

"I'm gonna get ya" Buttercup said 'threateningly' to the pichu and vaporeon.

The two sisters contained their giggles as well.

Liese nods playfully.

"Don't be scared of her, Rose!" Joey says excitedly. "Use Bubble!" As he speaks he tugs on her fins as a means of controlling her body. Sure enough, a stream of bubbles fill the air and speed towards Buttercup.

The others watch the show amused. Kayla chuckles.

"Now let's get back to the others.. I think a battle is being held." She said,a chuckle in her voice.

Buttercup ed fast enough to avoid it, though got tapped by a few of them. "Oh no!" she said, making a spectacle as she started to fall to the floor 'injured'

"How amusing." Liese chuckles.

Joey buys the act hook, line, and sinker. "Bu--Buttercup? S-sorry, I didn't mean--" he jumps down from his steed and scrambles to her.

"He's gonna get it," whispers Dandelion to a nodding Kayla.

Once he's close she springs up. "Argh!" She fields as she grabs him by the scruff, shaking him around. "I'm gonna eat ya now!" She said through her clamped mouth.

"It seems Joey is still naive despite his groing intelligence." Ylldiena says walking back home.

The poor little fella cries out with a plaintive yelp. "Save me, Rose!" He calls.

Rose, of course, is just her master's pet. She sees danger, she takes action -- but it's still a surprise to everyone that she knows Hydro Pump.

"I'd say he came out on top anyways," chuckles Liese, watching.

Buttercup was surprised when she was suddenly launched to the other side of the temple, and hit the wall, letting go of Joey immediately. "Ok....maybe not the best plan..."She said, slowly getting up with moans of pain.

"Looks like rose went a but overboard, come on, it looks like she might need sine healing, a type advantage hydro pump can't have felt good."

Buttercup is quickly surrounded by concerned Pokemon, including Joey. "I'm sorry, auntie!" he cries. "I didn't know she would hit so hard. I'll train her better, I promise!"

Dandelion looks her over quickly. "She's not terribly wounded...thank goodness."

Liese follows. "Did Rose, Dandelion, and Buttercup all come from a similar place?"

She shrugged it off. "Don't be so worried, hehe, I asked for it, I gotta say you've got good reflexes rose." She said before wincing a little at a pain in her side.

"You should sit down." Perali says worried. "I can heal you." She added, before doing so as Buttercup sat down, hosting her hands it as a pink aura washed over Buttercup's side.

"Yes they did, they were all living together."

Dandelion watches with relief. "Perali's a good healer...you'll be okay."

Kayla smiles. "You all are so sweet."

Joey hangs his head a bit, but approaches Buttercup gently. "I helped her...but I need to teach her to be less...harsh."

Liese nods. "I sensed some resemblance. So why are Buttercup and Dandelion intelligent and articulate while she's a tongue-lolling subservient toy for Joey? Did she hit her head?"

"Hey now, don't be like that." Buttercup said, with a warm smile. "Maybe it was a little hard, but no damage done, and besides if I was actually trying to hurt ya then you wouldn't want her pulling any punches would you?" She asked.

Perali continued to heal her as the shaymin nuzzled her bother.

Ylldiena laughed at the added last part. "No probably not, though I'm not sure what the answer is really, it might be a birth defect." She lied Before erasing her own memories of them before they were part if the family.

"Sure," Joey says quietly. "I mean, no. I mean-- hm..." He stands next to the Gardevoir bot and watches.

Rose begins licking Kayla, who laughs in mock protest.

"A birth defect? It's a miracle she managed to evolve if she's always been so dopey," Liese says. "Do you think we could fix her mind?"

Perali stood up again. "There, you might be a little sore but there's no damage done." She said.

"Thanks Perali." Buttercup said, standing up as well. "See? Good as new." She says, running a lap to get the soreness out.

"Probably." Ylldiena admitted. "But I struggle do so, she and Joey seem so happy together.."

Dandelion nods happily. "Glad you're feeling better, Sis!"

Liese looks at her mother. "I suppose I see your point. She could have ended up in a worse place, I imagine."

Joey snuggles his Vaporeon.

"Anyone getting hungry?" Buttercup asked. "If you want I can go and hunt for some berries."

"Yes, I hate to think of what would happen if the poor thing feel into the jabs if human scientists, she couldn't fight back." She said.

"I'm getting a little hungry." Liliyle said

"I find it amusing that only some of our family eats," says Liese with a sidelong glance at her mother. She walks over to Kayla and hoists her over her head. "Anyone want fresh Absol?" Her tone of voice makes it clear she's in jest.

"No, not me!" Kayla squeaks, playing along.

Rose looks confused, but Joey laughs and laughs.

All of them giggle at their antics, Liese making a show. "I think it wiser if perhaps we don't eat her." Ylldiena said at first, sounding completely serious. "It's supposed to be really bad luck." She added with a smirk.

"Always so practical, dearest," chuckles Kayla as Liese sets her down.

"If you wish for me to bring food, however, I will do so," nods the Lucaribot. "I await your order."

Dandelion shrugs. "I don't mind doing it."

"How about me, Mommy?" asks Joey.

"You can go with them if they don't mind." Ylldiena said to her youngest.

"I coming and I don't mind!" Said Buttercup.

"Can I go as well mother?" Asks Liliyle, earning a nod from her mother.

"Wait, so who is staying?" asks an amused Kayla.

"I'm going, and bringing Rose too!" shouts Joey, jumping on top of his Vaporeon steed.

"I will depart to keep the others safe," adds Liese.

"Well..." Dandelion pauses. "I don't want you all to be alone."

"It's fine." Said Ylldiena. "We are more than happy spending time together." She said with a warm smile

"Yeah!" Chimed in Perali.

"Plus with this many people we can get LOTS of berries." Liliyle added.
