Dandelion does not reply. Joey is somehow asleep.

"Good! But being in control feels really weird." Perali says, her smile ever present.

"I think that's what all of us can say " Buttercup agreed with a smile.

Ylldiena felt a pang of guilt at the words, but skilled when she saw Liliyle cuddle up with her smaller brother.

Liese nods. "Well, I think mother has our best interests in mind, regardless. I think it would be prudent, now, to rest."

"Sure," replies Dandelion.

Kayla yawns and stretches. "You know, I might go exploring tomorrow."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Sleep sounds good to me!" Buttercup agrees.

"Ooo!.. can I go with you?" She asked excitedly before looking at Ylldiena, worried that maybe she didn't want that.

Ylldiena simply nodded at her daughter. "There's no need to ask now."

"Feel free," replies Kayla. "But yes, sleep would be great."

Dandelion nods and curls up. Liese powers down, still standing. Kayla turns a circle, stretches, then flops on her side.

Perali looks up at Ylldiena. "Can I sleep with you tonight mom?" She asked, getting an affectionate lick and a yes from her, they both snuggled together and feel asleep.

The night passes peacefully. Halfway through, Dandelion wakes.

"Is that gem really what they say?"

Ylldiena and Perali woke, will Buttercup and Liliyle stayed asleep.

"It depends on what they say it is." She answered with a chuckle.

Dandelion stutters "Uh, um... the life of the forest and...your power?"

"Well in that case yes, though in my defense I was powerful without it." She says with a chuckle.

"Wow..so you have two hearts hehe."

"Where did you get it?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Well, originally it was a mew." She said, as if normal.

Buttercup roused at this, apparently she was trying to fake being asleep. "A mew?!" Ylldiena nodded.

"You defeated a Mew?" Dandelion gasps.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"No! No there's no way I could've fine that, the new and I are partners." She said, looking down at the gem, feeling his presence in her.

 

[JessieSune]

Dandelion nods. "So.... they are still alive? Or...no?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Yes, we are two in one, we, well he..though it feels strange to say the word, decided that it would be safer if the heart was kept close, incredibly close." She elaborated.

 

[JessieSune]

"Are you both one creature forever, then? And does he control you?"

Warmth.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"He did not control me, but I him, we are the same in body and mine now, only in spirit are we separate." She felt the warmth and cherished it, remembering the little mew that used to be.

 

[JessieSune]

Dandelion nods. "So Mew thought you'd be a good guardian and wanted to be a part of you? Wow..."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"I was actually a guardian before hand, but he thought he was safer this way, and now we're always together "

"Wow...

 

[JessieSune]

Dandelion thinks. "So can other Pokemon wear the crest?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Yes theoretically, but I couldn't part with him." She said, looking down on it with compassion.

 

[JessieSune]

"Him?" Dandelion blinks. "Why do you say that? It's just a crest now...not like it knows the difference."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Oh I think 'it' might, he's still a living thing."

 

[JessieSune]

Dandelion looks confused. "But...you said he...it...was just a part of you now -- you even control it! Why would it be able to know or care?"
