"She reminded me of Peter.. her entire fate had been decided by humans who didn't care about her or any pokemon.. she deserved better, I hope you don't mind of course."

 

[JessieSune]

"I don't mind in the least. She's very sweet and will make an excellent older sister. I am rather surprised you chose to keep her an Arcanine, not that that's bad."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Well, having two little rascals might be more than we could handle" She said chuckling. "Though, now I should alter Peters mind to remember her." She added.

 

[JessieSune]

"Indeed, though I thought you had already done so. Perhaps that was just my dream. I...I hope my absorption of the others grief wasn't too...I dunno."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Has it affected you in more negative ways than we had first thought? I wish I could hug you like this.."

 

[JessieSune]

"No, no. I knew that if everyone was grieving all at once we would be vulnerable. So I took their grief upon myself...thus the intense pain you witnessed. I'm feeling better...though a hug would be nice."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Here.." She focused a little, then they shared a dream, and she hugged him, the best she could. "A little trick I learned from Shelby.."

 

[JessieSune]

He returns it with a sad smile. "Now I recall this being one of the reasons I became a toy. I'd forgotten how much it hurts...losing loved ones."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"It does... it burns hotter than any physical pain one could feel, but the time spent with them is worth it isn't it?"

 

[JessieSune]

"Yes...but I did for a little while consider whether I shouldn't go back to the way I was. Then I realized I love you too much to ever go back."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Have I ever told you you're the second most flattering person I've ever met?"" she said with a warm chuckle.

 

[JessieSune]

"And who's the first?" He replies warmly. "Certainly not your mother."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"No, flattering wasn't a word to describe her, I believe the pokemon of your own creation might top you as far as pure flattery goes." She says chuckling.

 

[JessieSune]

"Bryndle? Aw, and I actually created him intentionally to be less charming than me," Cass giggles -- a refreshing sound. "But how long have we slept?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

"For hours now, as for exacts I couldn't tell you, but I feel that maybe we shouldn't leave our daughter alone much longer, she still feels the loss.. especially of Simon, you know how attached she was."

 

[JessieSune]

"Yeah...he was like a big brother to her...or would have been, had they met. I've been racking my brain desperately thinking of ways to bring him back."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"I...i'm thinking maybe we shouldn't.. we've resurrected people before, and it just ends up harming them or others even more..My mother came back, then died because of her frail body, Liese's brothers we saved then they dies a horrific death, Balaa brought Liese back from the brink of death and now she's either a drone or constantly suffering." She said sighing.

 

[JessieSune]

"I know. I know it's a bad idea...and wishful thinking. You'd think with thousands of years of living I'd learn but I never really have. It's just...it's not fair. Even the brothers might be salvageable -- but Simon died under mind control and was forced to blow up! He would have been terrified and alone...and his last thought would have been knowing that none of his closest friends were there -- he wouldn't have even BEEN a robot but he thought it would help!"

 

[AmethystRoze]

Danielle starts to tear up gently, her smile wavering but still present. "Nothing that's happened to us seems fair does it? But... I don't think Simon would've changed anything, he would've still became who he was when he died, because he saved and helped people. We should respect who he was and not mourn over what he could have been."

 

[JessieSune]

"Heh...I thought I was supposed to be the ancient wise sage. Okay. I'll let...I'll let it go. You're right, after all. Perhaps it's time I greeted my new daughter."

*poof*

"Heh.. wise isn't a word I thought would ever be used on me.."

The Mew stretches and slowly extracts himself from Danielle's tails, then floats to the top of Lilac's head and rests on it. "How's my favorite fire dog doing?" he asks gently.

"Hi, Daddy. I've been better. But so have all of us, so I'm comparatively okay."

"Yeah. Thanks for looking out for us."

"I'm glad I could help."

Danielle stretched as well, getting up and walking over to her two loved ones. Hey Cass, you woudnt mind telling everyone about Lilac would you? And offering to rewrite their minds? Unless that entails you leaving us, in which case i'd rather spend time with the both of you.

"I assume there was no danger present my sweet flower." She said to her daughter.

 

[JessieSune]

"I may have already copied the memories you gave us over to them while I had them in the pocket dimension." Cass blushes. "Thought it would be simpler."

"No, it's all quiet here. You guys never had to worry, really."
