Now the Mew's stomach rumbles.

"Um...uh...I'm...I'm going to get some more food for you both."

"Thanks, Daddy!" Lilac nuzzles him quickly.

"Thank you Dear" she said, barely hiding her smirk.

 

[JessieSune]

"Why is Daddy so shy about eating? It's not like he's fat or anything. In fact, if anything, he looks a little underfed." Lilac questions.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"I think he finds it disrespectful for the fallen. I think it might be his way of grieving, but when provoked enough his tummy had the final say in it." She said chuckling.

 

[JessieSune]

"He's old, huh? Kinda...I dunno...melancholy? Sometimes he seems just sort of worn out. How come?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Well, when we lost Simon, and the others, he took some of the others grief as well as his own, he spent hours debilitated crying other people grief out for them.. he lost more than the rest of us that night."

 

[JessieSune]

"Why? I mean....that sounds hard...and he didn't have to do it...does Daddy always take those hits for others?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

She smiled warmly. "When he can.. you see, when it happened me and him were completely unconscious because we were running an experiment, I think he blames himself for it that was his way of paying back what he felt was his failure.. He puts to much on his shoulders."

 

[JessieSune]

"I wish I could help. Sometimes his mind seems so far away. Did---did the experiment go well? I--somehow don't recall it."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"The experiment was simply to see what the effect on the mind would be if a pokemon was liquified for an extended period of time, we didn't get to complete it."

 

[JessieSune]

"Liquefied? Why on earth would you and daddy agree to be liquified? That sounds terrible...and painful! I'm amazed you're both still alive!"

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Actually me and you dad both agreed, it was the most single relaxing thing either of us have ever done.. you see, Shelby hooked us up to a machine that induces a hypnosis like state before doing it, completely relaxing the entire body."

 

[JessieSune]

"Wow...I didn't know anything could hypnotize you two..."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"You'd be surprised, i didn't either until I got in there and I was down within 10 seconds."

 

[JessieSune]

"Ten seconds? Does...does that stuff still work?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Im not sure." she said shaking her head. "But even if it did I wouldn't know how to use it."

 

[JessieSune]

"Maybe that's for the best."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Heh, could be, we don't want anything else happening while we're on hiatus. Speaking of hiatus I bet your father will be back, probably with a full tummy, soon."

 

[JessieSune]

"I hope so. I don't want him to be hungry AND sad..."

Cassiopeia appears on the horizon, looking tired but happy.

"Do...you think the humans will come for you both?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

".. possibly, it's impossible to tell for sure, but if they do they'll have no luck in catching any of us. Me and your father are done holding back."

 

[JessieSune]

"That actually sounds kinda scary..."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Maybe.. I apologize for saying anything that makes you uncomfortable my dearest." She nuzzled her daughter.

 

[JessieSune]

"It's okay. I just... I've never seen you Daddy get really truly angry before. I imagine it must be terrifying... for the other guy, I mean."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"I wouldn't know... but, I doubt they're filled with confidence." she said with a slight wicked chuckle.

 

[JessieSune]

"Did...did we ever figure out what to do about the daycare?"
