A Chance For a Second Chance

Xavier knew the man was lying, that laugh he did made him certain. He would've called him on it, but the Phoenix most likely would've tried to kill him. Then he would do the same thing he did before with the other two. He would complain to the girl, telling her that he tried to hurt him when he actually did nothing. Afterwards, he would gain more sympathy from the girl and they would presume kissing. 'I'm never getting out of here.' He continued walking, until a thought crosses his mind. 'I was at a water source earlier. Water eventually leads towards civilization.' He tucked the stick in his coat, along with his glass shard and began running towards the water.'

'This stream goes on forever.' Xavier had been walking for a good while and hadn't seen a single thing. However, he wouldn't give up, this was the only lead he had. Apparently the gods decided to reward him. In his view, he caught the sight of buildings. He began running faster, heading towards the buildings. 'I wonder if the residents will try to kill me as well. Not that it matters, I'm already dead.'

Gideon was good at reading people, almost as if he could hear their very thoughts. He laughed loudly every time he thought of Xavier. "He knows less than anyone here despite how he holds himself. His assumptions shall be his downfall if he doesn't work on them..." Gideon kept thinking about things, his mind slightly cluttered with just about everything going on around him.

Fai got up from the ground and began walking back to the town. "Maybe I'll find a woman or two.." Fai swiftly turned into his male version and strolled up the path and back to the village. Suddenly spotting a man running towards the town, Fai yelled out in panic, "STOP!"

Lena laughed at the thought of a little Gideon pretending to be an elf with his sister. Leaning onto Gideon's shoulder, Lena glanced up at the phoenix. "How do elves act like?" Lena had never even met an elf, let alone see an actual one. When the young woman thought of elves, she pictured a short little person with pointy ears and a festive green outfit.

"Yeah I see it" She squinted trying to see what it was and she followed Ace, not realizing they were still holding hands. "What do you think it is?" she says as they approach the light, getting closer and closer, not taking her eyes off it.

Xavier turned around and spotted a familiar person. 'It's the dragon.' He wasn't clear on the dragon's gender, so he would simply refer to the dragon as 'the dragon'. It was good enough for the moment. 'Why does the dragon want me to stop?' He didn't understand a thing about the lands or the people. 'Maybe this is a chance to get information.' Xavier put his hand over his hair, in order to stop it from blowing in the wind.

(( Couldn't sleep... I kept having to open my eyes to read the text from SAO subbed >_> ))

Darrian had followed the two [Xiana and Ace] from a distance. He was interested in these two. Not saying he wasn't interested in any of the other ones, but he decided these two would probably be less... Hostile... Towards him than the taller man. He noticed that Ace had spotted a light, and knew that he was approaching a nearby town. A small one, but it would be the first that any of them had seen. Darrian knew a shortcut to the town and decided he might as well take it, to get there before the other two, because there was a gang that liked to hand around the town at night and rob incoming people, and it was starting to grow towards dusk.

Fai jogged up to the man and pat the village entrance, showing that there was an invisible wall blocking it. "Some teenagers put it up as a joke," Fai muttered as he jumped over the wall and waved for the man to follow him. "I ran into it when going down to the lake."

Gideon smiled and held Lena in an embrace. "Well, it depends on where you are or which kind you're speaking of. My sister and I would pretend to be the tall and beautiful kind of elf, but of course we were kids. So we decided to play the role of kid elves heh." Gideon smiled at Lena and felt safe and loved for the first time in a long time. "I feel like I'm in some terrible romance book. But what ever" He silently chuckled to himself.

Xavier nodded his head towards the dragon. He would go with 'he' for now, given the dragon's current appearance. It seems that this one is calmer than the Phoenix. After hearing about teenagers putting up the wall, he was able to learn two things. People lived in this town and magic existed here. He had suspicions after observing the others and their abilities. 'This is definitely not the world I knew.' He followed him and continued towards the town.

Xavier looked around the town. It was quite large and the buildings resembled those from where he came from, but some had an entirely unique design. He saw children running, adults getting from place to place, and venders trying to sell their merchandise. 'Looks like there's a lot more species.' Everyone here looked entirely different. He was learning a lot of things, but he still had another thing he hadn't learned. 'Where am I?'

((Hey guys, I've gotta go to bed now. Just pretend my character is in the forest, enjoying his time away from all the chaos. Be back in ten hours xD ))

"I'm going to check it out. You should stay here," Ace said as he gently let go of Xiana's hand and began to creep toward the fire, "I wouldn't want you getting hurt if it were something - or someone - dangerous." He looked at the girl next to him, staring into eyes. Ace really didn't want her getting hurt over something stupid. IF it were something harmful, he wanted to take the fall, even for this... stranger, newly-met person.

(I caught up with everything! phew entertaining!)

After having a run in with his morbid fear of water, and everything before, his head ached furiously so rolling over on his side, Enzo closed his eyes and dispite all the choatic violence around him, the jay blue haired boy slept in complete peice only muttering in his sleep about it being too hot and for someone to turn down the heat.

talk about your deep sleepers!

Time passed before lavender eyes slowly creaked open, getting up, Enzo felt a moment of excitemennt, it was all a dream! He was simply at one of fathers many beach home....but once he looked around he realized denial would not cut it.

He was still here, in a copy of a world not his. Dusting himself off, he sighed aggravated before making his way off the shore, and onto more solid ground of what look to be like a large town. Enzo walked around, despite the hate of walking so much, there was not much to do....and do other mode of transport. Slow he walked, in a slow fashion looking around half curiously.

(buggable!)

'Does this town have a mayor of some sorts? Perhaps I could speak with them.' In situations like these, it was good to talk to someone with authority. Xavier looked up and noticed the darkening sky. 'I need to find a place to stay.' He didn't what this town was like. For all he knew it could be crawling with murderers. He adjusted the hair covering his red eye, as he walked. 'I need to find a way to communicate with this person.' He couldn't use a stick to write in this area, so he had no way of conveying speech.

"Thanks." she looked up at him staring back into his eyes, and saw he cared. "But just cause I'm a girl, doesn't mean I'm as weak as you think." She grinned and gave him a wink. Then she started walking toward the light, fearless. They got close enough to the light to see what it was.

(He knows sign language, coupled with his own unique body language. He can use a combination of facial expressions, body movements, and a look, combined with an atmosphere, that can give you a general idea of what he's trying to say.)

(Yay! If Xavier was real, we could be sign language buddies! Anyways, so he pretty much communicates with the game Charades?)

Fai strolled around the familiar town, returning a few greetings that were shot at his male form. Looking back, the dragon checked to see if the other man was still following him or not.

Xavier stopped looking at the town and face the dragon. 'I wonder if he knows anything.' It was a possibility, given that he talked about the teenagers putting up that wall. Since he couldn't speak, they jut ended up staring at each other. 'Well....this is awkward…'

Breaking the awkward staring contest, Fai looked around and asked the guy. "Are you hungry? Because I'm starving." Even though Fai had just eaten a whole human last night, his smaller human body needed as much food as his real form. Fai's stomach growled, demanding for food.
