A Chance For a Second Chance

It all happened so sudden, and before she knew it, Xiana was running at top speed next to Ace. "what are we doing??" she said, already out of breath. She turned her head to see if they were still following them, not paying attention to where she was going. Suddenly she ran into some purple haired boy, knocking them both down and accidentally dragging Ace down with them. "Oww..."

"Dammit," Ace muttered to himself as he pushed himself up from the ground where they landed, "I get fixed up only to fall on my face again." He gently helped up Xiana, before noticing why they had tripped. A purple haired stranger lay on the ground in front of him. "Hey, you okay?" Ace asked him, concerned. He hoped he hadn't been hurt too bad, and extended a hand to the fallen boy.

Xavier walked inside and sat in his previous seat. He stretched and pulled the board closer. 'More people are beginning to enter the area. Things won't stay peaceful for long.' Xavier rubbed his fingers over the cuts on his hands. 'I guess nighttime isn't the best time to walk around here.' It was a shame, it really was beautiful at this time of day. He looked around and saw that everyone was still focusing on the food. 'Dying, being attacked by fire, and almost getting stabbed, doesn't really give me an appetite.'

(The second I take a nap, people start posting.)
(Also, who's the purple haired boy?)

Trying to break the awkward silence, Lena looked up at the little group Fai had formed. "So," Lena began feeling a little nervous. "I'm Lena. May I know your names?" Lena gave everyone a bright smile, trying to appear friendly.

Fai grinned at Lena, happy that she was willing to break the ice. "Fai," Fai quickly grabbed Lena's hand a kissed it fast enough the the flames didn't do most of its damage. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Lena flashed Fai an embarrassed smile as she rubbed her hand. Glancing around the group, Lena waited for their replies.

Xavier looked over at Lena. 'That's right, I haven't told anyone my name. The only person I've really communicated with is Fai.' Xavier grabbed the board and began writing. He took note of the pains in his hands from the cuts. 'I hope that heals fast.' Xavier moved the board towards where Lena could see. "I'm Xavier. Are you alright?" She had more injuries than the burnt hand from earlier an that was worrying.

Gideon slapped Fai away, sending him back a couple feet "Don't touch my girl you putrid cur..." He said calmly. Gideon held Lena close to him and gave her a look. "I don't want you accepting this one's kindness. I don't trust him and I know the kind of stuff he does." Gideon kissed Lena's forehead and continued to hold her.

Lena nodded, making a mental note not to trust Fai. Turning to the mute man, Lena flashed Xavier little smile. "I'm okay," To prove her point, Lena showed her slightly red hand. "I moved my hand out of the way just in time!" Lena grinned happily. "Thank you for helping me," Lena squinted at the writing, trying to see what the name was. "Xavia." Lena beamed, she was grateful to the man for helping her out down by the bay lake.

((Haha! My characters are on different sides of the rope! xD ))

Xavier went over to the recently slapped Fai. 'There's no need for violence.' He tended to Fai and made sure he was alright. Fai had been kind to him and he wanted to return the kindness. 'Having these two in the same place isn't safe.' Xavier looked over him with concerned eyes. Fai didn't appear to be badly injured, but he was still worried.

Gideon forced himself to think about things that would make him cry. He put some of his tears on Lena and all of her wounds healed completely. "Hey, uh, can I ask you something in private?" Gideon blushed as he whispered to Lena.

Lena glanced up at the phoenix and nodded, giving him a quick thank you for healing her. Getting out of her seat, Lena gave Gideon a silly smile and held her small hand out to him. "Where should we go?" Lena asked quietly, wondering what he wanted to ask her.

Fai, on the other hand, was laughing manically at Gideon's reaction. "OH MY MAKERS!!" The dragon clutched his stomach as he began to hyperventilate, not being able to breath because of so much laughter. Slamming his fist onto the table, Fai started to laugh so hard that no sound came out of his mouth.

Gideon took Lena's hand and walked out with her. "I don't know, maybe just go exploring or what ever" He said, wanting to get out of there before he killed everyone. He felt kind of at ease knowing Lena liked him so much, he enjoyed being liked despite some obvious actions of his.

'Looks like he's fine.' Xavier sat back in his seat and let out a yawn. He layed his head on the table, feeling tired. 'It's been a long day.' He was pretty sure that the management wouldn't allow him to sleep here, so he would have to wake up soon. But for now, he would just rest. He would decide on his next course of action when he woke up. He could either get more information in the town or leave early in the morning.

(yaaay, I got in! :D anyway, how should I start my character off? I've missed so much that I'm not sure where to begin e3e))

Lena felt a giddy grin grow on her face as she had to speed up her steps to keep up with Gideon's longer ones. Holding Gideon's hand, Lena felt herself frown when she heard the voices around her.

"Aww.. What a nice brother, holding his little sister's hand like that..."

"Wait, I think they're dating!"

"Oh, really? She looks like a little kid!"

Lena held Gideon's arm protectively, sending mean glares to any woman who looked like they were going to go up and flirt with her phoenix. But, they were right, Lena was quite short, she was often mistaken as a kid, or at the best, a pre-teen. Frowning even more, Lena held Gideon closer to her, feeling very threatened as a taller and more sexier looking woman was looking at her phoenix.

You can just jump in by either a) meeting up with Xiana and Ace b) bursting into the restaurant c) meeting up with Lena and Gideon d) meeting up with Annie and Enzo :)

Enzo made a chocked sound when Annie grabbed his hand, he gave her a sidelong look of a mixture of wtf did you just touch me? And a questioning look, but before his mouth asked she had let go, and a new sense of smell of the food clouded his mind of any further complaint or protest.

Lanvender eyes took in their surroundings and his nostrils inhaled the juicy aromas of steak, Enzo found himself nodding and walking towards a table ignoring any waiter or waitress that was supposed to seat them,

"It serves food. And I have no patiences or strengh to be gawking around and picky." He said sitting himself down in a chair before grabbing the leftover bread on the other table. He looked over at Annie expectantly before stuffing a piece of bread into his mouth.

Gideon smiled and held onto Lena "Do you wanna start going out?" He asked quickly. He was nervous about her answer but still wondering if there was any chance. Gideon secretly preferred smaller women than tall women, unless they make it clear they like him in "that way".

(sorry I was at a movie!!)

Annie was happy to hear that she had pleased some one. Her lips curled into a smile and she was noted, with a bit of pride. She sat across from him, grabbing a piece of bread as Wel and ripping pieces off putting them in her own mouth.

Cloize was bored. Finally away from the dumbass kids, but really bored. He sat on a small hill looking up at the sky as a nice breeze blew through his hair and long ears. If he couldn't find an outsider.. He'd wait for one to find him.

Xavier lifted his head from the table after hearing the commotion. 'What is it now? Oh, it's just more dead people.' It looked like everybody was in this town now. There were two of them, which made him question his current situation. 'Am I the only person by themselves? Everybody else seems to have acquired partners. Interesting.' There were plenty of advantages for having groups, but he saw more advantages by working solo. 'I guess that's my cue.' Xavier got up from the table and grabbed a smaller board from the front of the restaurant. This one was light and portable. He walked over to Fai and began writing. "Thank you for your assistance, I greatly appreciate it." Fai had told him some useful things and he wouldn't be forgetting them any time soon. "Also, do you know if this town has a place for people to stay? Like a hotel?"

Lena looked up at Gideon in surprise, snapping out of her "Try to flirt with him and you're dead" mode. "Oh!" Lena blushed at Gideon's question, and brought his face closer to her own. "I'd love to." Lena giggled softly as she placed a small kiss on Gideon's lips. Letting go of Gideon's face, Lena hummed happily as she wrapped her arm around her new, and first, boyfriend.

((What movie did you watch? The latest movie I watched was The Lone Ranger. :D ))
Fai calmed his laughter down as Xavier asked him a question. Pondering over the answer, Fai finally volunteered his own place as a place to stay. "You can stay at my place!" Fai smirked, wagging his eyes suggestively. "Nah, I'm just playing with you. But, seriously, you can come over." Knowing exactly what Xavier would write, Fai quickly added in. "You won't be a burden at all."

((That was the latest movie I watched too! It was awesome!))

Gideon lifted Lena up and kissed her deeply. After about ten seconds he let her go and put her down "That is a real kiss" He said, smiling. He held onto her and continued walking, not caring about the destination really.
