Realistic or Modern A Camp for Musicians

Leandra let out a small sigh and then decided to move on since she wasn't exactly about to dump her life story on Greyson and Eve. After all, they had only just met one another. Heading over to the large couch in the living room, Leandra then said, "Well, you two can get comfortable her, I guess. I'm going to get my medical supplies real quick. Be back in a few." Turning away from the pair, Leandra then entered their bedroom to see Manjano taking his guitar out of its case. Gently closing the door behind herself, Leandra then went to her backpack and began looking for the supplies. While looking through the backpack, Leandra then said softly to Manjano, "You know, some socializing couldn't hurt." Pausing in her search, Leandra looked up at Manjano with a searching look, as she added in a softer tone, "I miss your voice, Manjano..."

Manjano went rigid when he heard Leandra's last comment while holding his guitar, but the moment was fleeting, as he soon had his guitar slung diagonally across his back and brushed past Leandra, opening their bedroom door and then entering the living room area. His sister had reacted a different way to their parent's demise, but Manjano had practically shut down entirely. He struggled to even find joy in music anymore. Everything just looked grey to him nowadays. He found less and less enjoyment out of things. He had even resorted to cutting himself, which was why his button-down had long sleeves despite it being the summer. Manjano always wore long sleeves to hide the bandages covering the cuts on his wrists and shoulders. He was in immense pain, but he was definitely not about to go sharing his life story with anyone here. He still couldn't even find his voice ever since it all had happened.

Leandra felt her heart breaking at the sight of Manjano's reaction. What was going on his head that he couldn't speak to her about it? Seeing that she wasn't going to be able to stop him without making a scene, Leandra let him go while she finally got her hands on her medical kit. Now, she began to search through it, just to double check that everything was in place. Her thoughts went back to Manjano, but she knew that she'd tried everything since it all happened. She just couldn't seem to get through to him and if his own twin couldn't get to him...then who could?

@RyanJXavier @Lexie

Greyson watched the twins switch places. Once Leandra walked into the bedroom, Manjano walked right out. Well, there was actually some time in between the exchange. Enough time for a small conversation. Greyson nodded at Manjano since the guy didn't seem like the one to really use his words. Grey would have to interact with him through his actions for now.

"I heard you and Leandra are having a sleepover at your cabin later. You two really kicked it off nicely . . . I wonder who you should thank" Greyson said looking off to the side then back at Evelisse. He laughed a bit, "Just kidding".

@Lioness075 @Lexie

Ri felt bad for walking away from the boy especially since he was only trying to help, but she tried not to let it get to her too much. First impressions are very important to her. What would it look like if, on her very arrival itself, she had someone help her with something as simple as bringing her suitcases to her cabin? She didn't want people thinking that she was weak, needed help all the time, and easily bullied. That wasn't her at all.

She exhaled deeply once she stopped at the door to her cabin. She fumbled around in the tote on her shoulder for the keys they sent her in her welcome packet. Her heart skipped a beat when she couldn't feel it anywhere, and her fingers began searching more frantically. This is turning out to be a really stressful day as it is. When her fingers finally wrapped around the cold metal, she blew out the breath she'd been holding.

Walking through the door into the cabin and depositing her suitcases by the door, she started growing conscious about the ache in her arms. Maybe she should've accepted that boy's help. Her arms felt like lead against her sides. She arrived really late; when she looked out the window, it looked like the sun was already setting. With the total silence in her cabin, she was able to hear some music being played from other cabins. These people were really talented. Really, really talented. And she started to worry about how she'd stack up.

There was a girl singing a cover of Sara Bareilles on her piano, and it was lovely. It was the same genre that she's aspiring to get into, and Ri made the decision to go over and take a listen, possibly get some advice from whomever it was singing. She walked outside, following the sound of the singing to (hopefully) the correct cabin. Ri hesitated. She was breaking the same rule she just walked away from: not needing help. But she was here to improve. She needed to improve. She can't get back into modelling anymore. Not after what happened. She swallowed her pride and knocked loudly on the door.

@shygirl3

Evelisse watched as the boy left, deciding not to speak since he didn't seem to like words. Looking over at Greyson, she rolled her eyes as shook her head though a wide smile was spread across on her face. "I suppose I could thank you," she said, acting like she was thinking. "Consider that your thank you," she added with a small laugh as she shrugged. "But yea. She's gonna dye my hair for me," Eve told him as she sat down in a seat across from him.

"If you would have told me earlier your shoulder was bothering you, I would have helped you with your things," the brunette said, her silly demeanor changing to a more serious one. She offered a small smile before it faded slightly. "I feel really bad I couldn't help."

@RyanJXavier @Lioness075

Manjano quickly exited the cabin, making sure to avoid eye contact with Leandra's new friends, and began making his way down the path, opposite of all the talking and noises he was hearing in the camp. He just needed to get away from the noise, was that so much to ask for? Not too long after, Manjano found himself at the edge of a beat-down nature trail. Deciding it'd be a great way to get away from everyone, Manjano began to slowly walk down the path, wondering what he was even going to do. He'd grabbed his guitar instinctively, but it wasn't like he even wanted to play it. He just...wanted to get away.

Meanwhile inside of the twins' cabin, specifically their bedroom, Leandra had just finished up on ensuring everything was in place inside of her medical kit. Closing it up, Leandra then carried out into the living area, pleased to see that Greyson and Eve had indeed made themselves comfortable. Setting down the medical kit on the coffee table, Leandra looked between the two and then asked Greyson, "So, not to ruin whatever conversation you two were having, but what exactly happened to your shoulder anyway?" By understanding what had happened to it, Leandra would be able to easier identify the problem without having to spend forever testing out the movement and seeing how much pain Greyson was in. Leandra had quickly learned while in military training that she seemed to have a way of figuring out the problems ahead of time by simply understanding what had happened in the first place and simply where in the injury area the pain was centralized.

@RyanJXavier @Lexie

"Wooow. You're welcome" Greyson replied then listened to the next thing Evelisse had to say. "What color? And I did tell you that it hurt so . . . I think that's enough to say that it was bothering me right? It's okay though. You didn't need to help me carry my stuff" He stated before Leandra reentered the room. His shoulder wasn't dislocated for sure. So he was sure that it would heal soon.

"I fell off a tree and hit my back against the ground. Most of the pressure was distributed into my right shoulder" Greyson stated truthfully. You make one move and you fall down. What matters is that you get back up again. He thought to himself.

@Lexie @Lioness075

"She says a dark blue at the top then ending in a bright real at my ends," Evelisse said truthfully as she shrugged slightly. She couldn't help but shrug slightly at his next statement. "Huh, must not have processed it...that tends to happen sometimes," she said with a small shrug. Listening to his explanation, she frowned slightlh and crossed her arms. "Why were you in a tree?" She asked as she kept her eyes trained on him, secretly almost forgetting Leandra was in the room, though she did ultimately remember.

@RyanJXavier @Lioness075

Leandra nodded at what Greyson said and while Eve asked Greyson why he was in the tree in the first place, Leandra sat down beside Greyson. She frowned slightly and furrowed her brows, her thinking face in a nutshell, and then she began to wonder what could be wrong with Greyson's shoulder. Had he dislocated it? Deciding to just ask questions and hopefully solve the problem without having to take off Greyson's T-shirt, as Leandra wasn't sure how Eve would react, Leandra then added her question right after Eve's, asking Greyson, "Did you dislocate your shoulder after you fell from the tree?" Leandra knew dislocating anything had a distinct feeling and sharp pain to it. It was kind of hard to not know if you had dislocated something. If he had dislocated his shoulder, then it'd be an easy fix since he clearly had popped back into place. He would simply just be feeling a bit sore from the events and all Leandra would have to do is give him some ice packs along with that small tub of Icy Hot.

@RyanJXavier @Lexie

"Alright, you have everything with you, right? Clothes, phone, instruments? Don't you go losing stuff in this place," Terry's sister, Jessica nagged him while she retrieved his luggage from the trunk, consisting of one rucksack, a suitcase and a large accordion case. She had been nagging him for the whole journey and he knew she meant well, but it was getting annoying. And that's saying something.

"Jess, relax. I'm going to be fine unless you keep on blabbering. I'm already late as it is," he reminded her, taking his stuff from his sister. His was strangely heavier than when he had packed it at home.

His sister gave him one last hug. "We're going to miss you, baby bro."

"I know, sis, but you idols can manage a few months without me," he said with a smirk. His sister merely smiled in reply, pecked both of his cheeks and got back to her car, driving off back to Manhattan. Couldn't ask for better sisters, he remarked mentally. Turning towards the camp, he marveled at the scenery. It was surely unlike anything he'd ever seen. He paced the grounds as he watched his surroundings. Many people were in the camp and they were undoubtedly as talented, if not far more so, than he was. This was a camp for musicians, after all. Finally locating his cabin (whichever it was), he set down his stuff and wandered off once more. Cabin's fine and all, but he was a boy who could not stay still and wanted to explore. He sauntered the ground with no destination in particular, greeting those who passed him with a simple wave and a 'hey'

(@Ophiel Yes, that name tag is in hangul, but reads 'Teri' instead. Kyungsoo should notice it and be able to read it)

"I was installing some lights in the backyard" Greyson paused then continued. "My dad was already using the ladder to prepare a portion of our roof so I just used the tree since it was near and sturdy anyway. The part where I fell was when I was getting off a tree. A stem just snapped" He explained before Leandra asked a question. "No . . . I don't know" His mind began to wander off into the what if scenarios he had at the back of his mind.

What if it was dislocated? He never had anything dislocated before so he wouldn't really know. Alright now he wasn't sure about the whole injury in general. Well, he wasn't that big in the health books anyway. Leandra seemed to know what to do though so it was okay.

@Lexie @Lioness075

Eve nodded in understanding before frowning slightly. She listened attentively before glancing over at Leandra. "On a scale of one to ten, what's your pain level? Ten being nearly unbearable," she asked as she looked back at him. Gazing over at Leandra, she shrugged slightly. "Can I help? My dad is a doctor and I used to go to work with him all the time and I know some stuff, but probably not as much as you do but I want to help. I feel useless," she said, focusing her words to the redhead.

@RyanJXavier @Lioness075

Topaz let out the smallest laugh. It was like it carried on the wind. "You do not want to look like him do you? Wel.. I don't want you to look like him, so you shouldn't either." She blinked a few times, tilting her head. "Also, your accent is fine. I can understand everything you say." She assured the male, giving a short firm nod. When he agreed to take her parasol and sighed. "Thank you." She mumbled. After letting go of the shade she flinched slightly at the contact of the sun. Paz then flipped her hair forward. The girl wasn't very smart however, as she continued walking with her vision impaired. She gathered her gray hair on the top of her head and wrapped her hair tie around the mess. Right when she was about to lift her head back up she rammed right into something, causing her to fall back and land right on the dirt. Topaz quickly looked up, her eyes filled with shock not only from the impact but also from the fact she was sitting in the dirt. "I-i'm so sorry. I didnt mean to do that..." She whispered, giving a scared look at the new male before turning her gaze over to Kyungsoo, her face red with embarrassment and already starting to get burned by the UV rays.

@Ophiel @Lazy Rocktime

Leandra nodded at what Greyson said and then realized that if Greyson was unaware of his shoulder being dislocated in the first place, then she'd have to make him take off his shirt so she could get a better look at it. Even then, just watching him take off the shirt could show her what kind of pain he was in as well as what range of movement he could manage with it.

Hearing Eve's questioning of Greyson, Leandra subtly smiled, as that was going to be one of her questions for sure. Upon hearing that Eve had a little medical experience herself, Leandra nodded and then said, "Of course you can help, Eve." When Eve mentioned feeling useless though, Leandra cocked her head slightly and then said, "Eve, you're not being useless. That question you just asked is very helpful, though it'll help if Greyson also does some simple actions and then describes his pain while doing them." Leandra added that last tidbit of advice for Eve's sake, while also hinting at Greyson that she may have him do some stuff while he was at it. Though, Leandra still felt like the next best move would be to get Greyson to take off his shirt so Leandra could better see his injured shoulder. It would also help to see if it was swelling at all, or if there was perhaps some bruising on it.

@RyanJXavier @Lexie

He laughs with her, "I don't think anyone wants to look like him. his fashion is terrible. And I'm very happy that my accent isn't too bad, but it could be better." He sighs, "You're welcome."

He tries his best to hold the parasol over her, you know, since it's hers. "Um, are you okay?" he asks Paz and holds out his free hand to her. He focuses his gaze onto the male who was bumped into. "If your eyes are in front and watching where you go, you should have seen her." Kyungsoo tried very hard to not sound mean. Not right now. Though that outfit he is wearing is stunning. so clean.

@Halcyon @Lazy Rocktime

Greyson blinked a couple of times and looked at Evelisse, "You sound like Baymax. Seven and a half". The teen nodded at Leandra and raised his right arm up, "Ten!" His right arm immediately came down to his side. Greyson never thought that he would scream out a number in that manner. "Should I just take my shirt off so you can see if it's dislocated or something?" He asked figuring that it would be easier just for Leandra to see whatever he couldn't see behind him.

His arm was aching, but it felt as if it was getting stabbed whenever he moved it in certain directions.

@Lexie @Lioness075

This place is huge, he thought to himself. At one point or another, he was surely going to get lost, at one point of another. His walk was much too quiet, he decided and got out his MP3 player, but just as he was looking to down to browse his playlist, someone or something bumped into him. He could see a blur of white and pink before crashing down. Swiftly getting back on his feet, he went over to help the person he ran into, or ran into him. Same thing, really.

"You okay there? Sorry about that, wasn't paying enough attention," he said to the cute-looking girl on the ground, grinning innocently and scratching the back of his head with one hand and offering the other to help her get back up.

His head turned towards her companion, a boy with blue hair and looked Korean. "I did say I wasn't paying attention and I did say sorry. Take it easy," he said to the boy in his usual deep and relaxed voice.

@Halcyon @Ophiel

Evelisse frowned a bit and stood up, walking over. "It would be a lot easier," she said simply as she looked at him with genuine concern. From the sounds of it, it wouldn't surprise me if you did dislocate it. Might need to wrap it up tightly. I think I have some things in my stuff to make a makeshift sling if you want," she said as she looked at him.

@RyanJXavier @Lioness075

Leandra grinned when Greyson mentioned Baymax. She had seen that movie a bit ago and loved it to this day, much like all of the there animations by Disney, Dreamworks, and Pixar. Though, her grin quickly was replaced by a slight frown when she heard how much pain Greyson was in, especially when he simply tried to lift his arm upwards. She felt herself growing more confident in it having been dislocated, though it also looked like it hadn't been put back in place at the time. This meant that doing so now would result in a lot of pain for Greyson. Hearing his offering of taking off his shirt, Leandra nodded and said, "That would certainly help." If it had truly been dislocated then it'd surely have a decent amount of swelling in the area, perhaps even a bruise on the backside from the initial impact.

Hearing what Eve said next, Leandra then said, "Actually, I probably have a sling somewhere in my bedroom." With a playful glint in her eyes, Leandra then smiled innocently at Eve and asked her calmly, "Eve, why don't you help Greyson get his shirt off while I go and find that sling?" Without waiting for an answer or possibly a protest, Leandra stood up from the couch and then headed into her bedroom, heading straight for her backpack and rummaging through it for the sling that she was pretty sure she had packed. She did always like to be ready for any situation after all.

@RyanJXavier @Lexie

He sighs and pulls Topaz up from the ground, still trying his best to cover her from the sun with the parasol. "You still can't just walk around like that. I guess I can forgive you... If you show me how you sing." He looked at the other male, curious to hear how good he is with that deep voice.

If anything, he's probably starting up a rivalry, but just hope to god it doesn't go that way. "It's not the best form of accepting an apology, but I want to hear you."

@Halcyon @Lazy Rocktime

"Wait I don't think I need a sling" Greyson said but watched Leandra leave anyway. His shoulder seemed to ache more than before. The teen rubbed the back of his neck then began to take off his shirt. "Hey thanks for tagging along when you didn't need to. You could be doing something else with your time" Greyson stated glancing at Evelisse.

(sorry for the short post brb)

"Sing?" he asked with a confused tone. There were many kind of apologizing, but having to sing is rather new to him. "Well, uh...I don't sing much. I am good at rapping, though. Is that fine?"

@Ophiel (Sorry for the really short post, I have to be going in awhile -3-)

Topaz sat on the ground looking up at Kyungsoo. She looked at his in disbelif when he scolded to other boy. "Kyungsoo. Don't be mean." She whispered as thought the other boy wouldn't hear her. She then reached up and took her friends hand, stumbling as she stood up. As she stood, she dusted off her skirt, grateful that Kyungsoo was keeping her in the shade. After she felt semi clean she took the parasol from his hand. "It's fine. I'm fine. A little dirty but fine." Her littler voice spoke out, although there was a pout on her face still. However, her face turned to curiosity when Kyungsoo asked him to sing.

"Um... Kyungsoo.. not everyone here sings? Why does he need to sing?" She mumbled towards the boy while still eyeing the new boy. She was slightly defending him due to the fact that she didn't sing either. He was like Kyungsoo in many ways. She decided to assume he was also Korean, but it wasn't just the ethnicity that was the same. It also seemed about though they both had an eye for fashion.

@Ophiel @Lazy Rocktime

Evelisse opened her mouth to object but quickly closed it. I can do this. She watched him carefully and rolled her eyes a bit. "You need a sling. Chances are you dislocated it," she said as she carefully began to help him with his shirt, her nerves slowly subsiding. She looked down at him at his next words and offered a genuine smile. "Don't thank me. I wanted to come. And I'm not just saying that because I could have just been bored out of my mind. I really wanted to. I just left so quickly because I needed to sort my thoughts out. If they get to scrambled then I could quite possibly have a mental breakdown. Not fun," she explained as she took his shirt and laid it to the side.

@RyanJXavier @Lioness075

Not too long after, Leandra found the sling tucked deep inside of her backpack. Snatching it, Leandra then exited her bedroom to find that Greyson and Eve had successfully gotten his shirt off. Walking back over to the pair, Leandra set the sling down by her medical kit and then sat down by Greyson, making sure to sit by his injured side. Looking over the shoulder, sure enough, there was a decent amount of swelling and the arm even looked slightly depressed, which was definitely not normal. Leandra now knew without a doubt that Greyson had dislocated his shoulder and then not popped it back into place at the time of the injury. Letting out a small sigh, Leandra then gingerly touched Greyson's shoulder, trying to be careful with her touch despite knowing Greyson would probably still be in pain regardless. Feeling around it, Leandra then took her hands off of Greyson's shoulder before saying, "Yeah, you definitely dislocated it when you fell. Problem is, you never popped it back into place when it first happened." Pausing, Leandra thought things over for a moment before adding, "This means that I need to get it back into place, but this also mean that you're going to be in a good deal of pain. I can give you a strong painkiller if you want, as this is most certainly going to hurt quite a bit." At this point, Leandra had entirely forgotten about the fact that she'd been teasing Eve, or that Greyson even had his shirt off. Her focus was now entirely on his injury and fixing it.

@RyanJXavier @Lexie

"Yes, sing." He eyes Terry carefully, "But rapping is good too. It's at least something I can't do." He smiles, acknowledging what Topaz said, "I'll try not to be mean with people. It's just that you're my friend now." Also, it'd be interesting to hear some rapping.

"You seem okay, then. My name is Kyungsoo." He does a half bow. "I just wanted to know how good you are. You're probably better than me. And just so you're not the only one doing this, I'll sing a little." He does a few short vocal excercises, takes a deep breath and sings a line from a song, "I'm so sorry girl I love you, but I can't lie. I'm so sorry. Girl, I love you." He tries his best to keep his voice at the right pitch. His voice is more of an average pitch normally. So not too high, not too low.
