Realistic or Modern A Camp for Musicians

Evelisse tried to figure out what to say but just decided to stay silent for once. When Topaz grabbed his shirt, she looked at her with a a bit of confusion. Very peculiar... It wasn't long before she heard her another voice. Turning slightly, she saw the same guy from earlier. She watched him carefully, studying his actions before turning her attention to Leandra. Watching her carefully. She thought it was pretty cool that she would be able to help him, but then she began to let her thoughts wander. "Seems you're pretty popular," she pointed out as she glanced up at Grey with a simple shrug. "I'm gonna go put my horse back." Before I can make even more of a fool of myself.





Evelisse quickly turned and walked over to the black horse, unhitching her before putting my foot in the stirrup and swinging my other leg over. Before she could take the time even get situated, since that would just be more time for someone to stop her, she whipped the reigns harder than before and gently kicked her sides, causing the horse to take off in a run back the way she came.

Topaz pursed her lips, tilting her head slightly. "Hm.. I don't know. I just thought friends hung out with each other. Or are you guys not friends?" Topaz ended up confusing herself and blew out her cheeks once again. She gently patted down her bangs as Grey continued to speak. At the mentioned of someone liking something of her's her eyes sparkled. "Really...? Someone would like this?" Her gripped tightened around the handle and she smiled to herself, satisfied.


Right then another person joined her group. Topaz closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath and counting to ten. Too many people at once. She almost didn't mind it though. It was exciting and welcoming. She opened her eyes again and looked at the boy. She held up her hand, giving a small wave before she looked up at Grey waiting for introductions. However, her focus turned over to Eve as she spoke about leaving to return her horse. "Will you come back?" She whispered, however, the girl was gone before she could even finish the sentence. "Is she okay Leandra..?" Topaz almost felt as though her leaving was fault. So Many times before she caused people to become uncomfortable and she was hoping she wasn't the cause.

He frowns at having been possibly ignored by that girl now leaving towards a horse. He asked a question. Maybe not directly at anyone, but just generally. Guess he won't know. Ever. Nope, everything will be like before. He'll just sit there wondering who in the world said his name.


Kyungsoo notices a small, delicate hand wave at him, and he waves back. Although confusing as it may be, he smiles at the owner of that hand. The parasol girl. It's an interesting thing, the design so original. He decides to walk over and take a closer look. His steps were quick and long so he got there sooner. "What fabric is that made out of?" He asks Topaz with genuine interest. After all, one of his hobbies is sewing, and he loves looking at this type of stuff, no matter how "girly" it may seem. He doesn't even abide by those sickly gender norms sometimes.

Greyson quickly turned around once he heard someone scream. Kyungsoo pointed at him as if he did something wrong. "Yeah I was just telling Paz how you're into different styles and how you'd be interested in her parasol" Grey replied calmly. His gaze shifted to Leandra at the mention of his shoulder. "Medical experience huh? Sure I'll let you take a look at it" He said to the red head before hearing Evelisse's voice and watching her ride away.


He was going to ask a question, but Topaz beat him to the exact one. Something seemed to be running through Evelisse's mind and Greyson didn't understand what it was. "Kyungsoo and I are friends. I was just giving him some time to relax" He said to Topaz after hearing her remark. "Yeah, why not? It seems pretty interesting as it is" Grey continued when Topaz spoke excitedly of her parasol.

When she got back to the stables, she hopped off the horse and took the saddle off her, placing it back where she got it from. She kissed her nose gently and smiled softly. "See you soon girl," she said softly before walking out. She kicked up some dirt as she stuffed eat hands in her pockets, mentally cursing herself for running like that. I had no reason to...but I can't go back. I'll just be overwhelmed with questions. Instead of going back to the group, she headed to her cabin and walked inside, grabbing her guitar out of its case before walking out onto the porch and sitting down. She began to play a song she had written, deciding it was a good way to keep her hands and mind busy.

Austin nodded, completely understanding how Ally was struggling. The end of a song was always the most difficult part because you had to make sure to leave the listener with something that will make them want to come back for more. But Austin had been able to overcome that obstacle and now was able to completely finish his songs with ease. He wanted to offer the girl a couple tips, but he figured if she wanted them, she would have asked. When she asked him why he was here he shrugged openly. He didn't really like talking about himself to other people, but his outgoing nature allowed him to do so anyways. "I sing and play guitar, pretty average stuff I guess," he admitted, shrugging again before standing. "I still have some unpacking to do though so, I'll see you around. Nice meeting you Ally."


Exiting the cabin, he blinked as he noticed all the people congregated outside. They seemed consumed in their conversations, except one who was lightly strumming her guitar and singing. He offered the girl a quick wave as he walked past her, still set on getting his cabin unpacked.

Leandra grinned at Greyson's acceptance of her help, pleased that he hadn't turned her down for some reason or deemed himself strong enough to handle it on his own. After all, Leandra even had a medical kit in her backpack, back at her cabin. They could actually handle the whole thing there, and hopefully not have Manjano barge in on them and think something else was happening. Though, Leandra was mostly concerned that Eve would think something was happening between the pair. She didn't want to damage a new relationship with something like that.


Leandra heard Topaz's question about Eve and merely shrugged in response. "I'm not sure, honestly." She didn't know the girl too well just yet, but she could always ask her about it later since they had both planned on having that sleepover tonight. Speaking of which, the sun was beginning to set and she'd need to look at Greyson's shoulder soon else she'd be late to doing the sleepover with Eve.


Looking over at Greyson now that Topaz was distracted by the other guy's interest in her parasol, Kyungsoo was it? Leandra decided that now would be the best time for them to slip away and for Leandra to look over his shoulder. Poking him on his good shoulder, Leandra could easily tell which one was in pain since he favored it, she then said, "Hey, we can go to my cabin and check over your shoulder now if you're okay with that. My medical kit is packed in my backpack still."

Rowan finished the song with a smile on her face. She opened her eyes seeing the group of camp members clap and cheer her on. She smiled thanking them then put her guitar back in it's case, people walked by and told her how she had an awesome voice and played the guitar well. This is what she wanted, to be complimented on her talent not have someone try and one up her. Blushing and thanking some of the camp members she started to talk to them. Her eye caught a man that was at her little show, he waved at her along with giving her a friendly smile. She wanted to know more about the guy, after thanking the others she walked through the crowd and eventually caught up with the guy. "Hi...did you enjoy my little performance back there?" She asked him as she walked next to the man her hand shoved in the pockets of her skinny jeans.

"Kay then shall we go, Doctor Leandra?" Greyson questioned. He didn't really know how she was going to fix up his shoulder. Wait, what experience did she have? I'll let her surprise me I guess. Greyson thought to himself as he rubbed the back of his neck. They were all people from different walks of life. What if Leandra was some kind of medical genius? What if she was an under-aged chiropractor? Well, Greyson was about to find out.


The teen waited for Leandra to lead the way. His eyes momentarily focused back on Topaz then Kyungsoo as he said, "Hey, we'll leave you two for now so you guys can have your parasol discussion. I'll talk to you both later".

Ally watched Austin walk out of her cabin. Well, she was almost social...that's a step in the right direction. She finished unpacking her last suitcase and sighed at her clean and organized room. Allison stared out the window of her cabin watching all the campers interact with each other. They made it look so easy. She gave a sigh and walked away from the window, flopping down on her bed. "Ow" there had been something on her bed that was currently jabbing into her. She reached underneath her, pulling out a set of mickey mouse ears. They were Austin's she figured that she would give it to him later. Ally played with the ears in her hand thinking about Austin. He seemed nice and funny and he was definitely cute. But he seemed like the outgoing type that would much rather be out talking with everyone. They were complete opposites. As she thought, she pulled out her lyric book and as she stopped at one line she had written down. All of a sudden as she stared at the line, more and more lyrics came flooding into her head. Before she knew it she had a full song's worth of lyrics. Now she just had to find the right music to go along with it. Ally sat down at her keyboard and got to work. After all, this is what camp was really about, improving her music. Not to make friends. Ally took a break from writing her song and decided to do a cover of a song.


She pulled up the notes for the song "Love Song" by Sara Bareilles. She began to play and sing along, in the safety of her cabin without an audience, or so she thought. Allison's window was wide open so anyone that was to pass could probably hear her singing and playing her keyboard.

Suddenly getting bored, Evelisse got up and headed back inside, setting her guitar gently back in its case. She walked around to get used to everything and walked into the kitchen, finding an apple. Grabbing it, she walked out of her cabin, having gotten her thoughts together. There was no reason she shouldn't go back. She could handle a few questions.


Taking a deep breath, Eve headed back slowly, stopping briefly to feed Leandra's horse the apple she had brought with her. "Good..." She whispered softly before walking up behind Leandra silently as if nothing was wrong, which it wasn't. She began messing with her hair quietly raking her hands through it as she began to braid a section, a small smile on her face.

Leandra grinned at Greyson and said, "I'm far from a doctor, but I shall lead on." She then began to lead the way to her cabin, wondering along the way what exactly was wrong with Greyson's shoulder. She realized quickly that she may not even be able to do much for him if it was just some sore muscle or something. Shrugging the thoughts off, Leandra then decided that the very least she could do was give him a small tub of Icy Hot for his shoulder. She did have an almost infinite supply of medical stuff as it was.


Hearing someone approaching her from behind, Leandra glanced over her shoulder to see Eve returning and smiled warmly at her before saying, "Hey, welcome back, Eve. I'm about to see if I can't help Greyson out with his shoulder. Want to tag along? We could get ready for our sleepover tonight once I'm done with Greyson."

Topaz looked up with wide eyes, super excited. "Oh. It's made out of silk and lace. Of course there are parasols with heavier and thicker materials but... uh but, i only use this for shade." She explained hesitantly. She then gave a small smile "Gotta love Mr. Sun." She let out a small laugh. She then lifted up her hand and started twisting her Marilyn Monroe piercing. After a few seconds she jolted slightly, remembering something. "Um. I'm Topaz. You're Kyungsoo correct?" She asked softly, looking at him curiously. Often a moment she then heard Greyson and Leandra speak.


"Alright. Get better Grey." She waved to them, before turning back to Kyungsoo. However, she quickly turned back to the two before they left. "You two are my friends right? Can i tell people you're my friends?" She asked, titling her head. After getting the answer she nodded and turned back once again to the Korean in front of her.

"I like how you dress. Most men wear tacky shirts and jeans." She gently leaned back on her heels, looking at the kid. Once she made sure everyone was out of ear shot she tilted her head. "Are you gay?" She blurted out. To other this might seem rude, but to Topaz is was just a simple question. "Because i think you might like Grey. I think Eve might like him too. And Maybe Leandra. What's so great about him?" She mumbled mostly to herself but loud enough to Kyungsoo to hear. She was just letting out all her thought now, not taking her doctors and parents advise of filtering her thoughts.

Hearing Paz's question before she left, Leandra paused and said uncertainly, "We're acquaintances, Paz. I've only just met you and hardly know anything about you as it is." Deciding to leave with Greyson and Eve before things got awkward, Leandra then continued on in the direction of her cabin.

Eve smiled a bit and shrugged slightly as she stuffed her hands in bed pockets. "I don't see why not," she said with a wide smile. She looked down and began playing with her hair as she walked with Leandra and Grey happily, trying to imagine it different shades of blue. Slowly beginning to feel like herself again, her smile only grew as she began skipping alongside the two.


She quickly stopped skipping as she began to let her thoughts wander to everyone she had met, one standing out in particular. Glancing over at grey, she couldn't help but smirk. "I think your friend likes you," she pointed out with a shrug, trying her best not to start dancing.

"Of course you can, Topaz" Greyson said looking over his shoulder and smiling a bit. He turned back forward as he continued to follow Leandra. Grey saw Evelisse make her way back to them after she rode off just a few moments ago. "Ello again" Greyson nodded before hearing a blend of music sound out from two different cabins. The cabin they were walking toward seemed to be the source of one of the soundtracks. The other cabin that they were about to pass by sounded like someone was actually doing a cover.


Greyson raised a brow at Evelisse's words, "Isn't it normal for friends to like each other?" After a few more piano chords were played, Grey was able to distinguish "Love Song". That was one of the first piano songs he learned how to play. What? It was catchy! He never told anyone though because . . . well, he's Grey.

"hmm, silk and lace?" he thought for a moment, wondering why he'd never thought of combining those two before. "Well it looks very nice." He eyes the parasol and marveling at how the light and shade contrasted on it. "Yes, I am Kyungsoo." his head goes down and then back up. A simple bow, but formal.


He turns to wave at Greyson, and then back to Topaz. "Well, if I get along with someone, I'd call them my friend." He nods at Topaz as if reassuring her.

"Thank you." He grins and pulls some hair out of his face, "This is my style. Although my father is more of that old man kind of look. He forces it on me when I go to important places." His eyes open up wider at the next question. It's not that he's offended or anything. Actually he's impressed someone can tell just by looking at him. And the bit about Greyson, too. "Yes, I am gay. I'm pretty open about it, so don't worry. Just sometimes I need to contain myself. And, uh, about Greyson... I don't really know him enough. So for now, I just really like his looks. If Eve, whoever that is, likes him, I don't really care. He doesn't belong to me." He expresses many of his opinions. He understands that just having a crush on someone or dating them doesn't really make them yours. Freedom. yeah.

Evelisse heard the music a bit better and began dancing slightly before hearing Grey's question. Turning around and walking backwards, she crossed her arms and gave him a strange look. "Are you serious? Not that kind of like. I mean he has a crush on you," she said as she raised an eyebrow. "If you couldn't tell then you are blind as a bat," she added with a laugh as she turned and began walking next to the two once again.

As Austin walked, his mind wandered and he hummed a quiet time. It was a shame that he hadn't taken the time to unpack before because now it seemed as if everyone was out and he really wanted to get to know more people. He was still mulling over his bad luck when a girl's voice pierced through his thoughts and nearly scared him to death. "Christ! You damn near scared me to death," he laughed, his amused smile returned to his face. He shrugged when she asked if he had enjoyed her show. "Well truth of the matter is I only heard the last bit. I was just passing through. Someone needed help moving their tv so I helped, and now I'm headed back to my cabin to finish unpacking." As he was talking though, they had already reached his momentary home. "Well, was heading back. And now we're here."

Topaz gave a small smile, feeling slightly upset after the way Leandra acted. She's know when she made people feel weird and Leandra defintely felt weird towards her. However, Kyungsoo's words made her happy. "Come on, lets walk" She decided, turning and starting to walk again. "That's the thing. Why do people start liking people off of looks? That gives them false hope, because people will have a certain image about the person. But when they find out that person is actually really bad and, excuse my language, shitty, then it just leads to sadness. And sadness isn't good." She pouted slightly, explaining her reasoning. However, she didn't let it bug her too much. She din;t want to stop the conversation so she dug into her mind and pulled out another topic. "Where are you from? You have a very intriguing accent?" She soft voice spoke out. At this point even the heat was bugging her, causing her to just feel sticky all over. She held out her parasol to the boy. "Can you hold this so i can put up my hair?"

Surprised at Eve's bluntness with Greyson, Leandra raised an eyebrow at Eve before turning to see Greyson's reaction. Deciding it might be best to move on before things got awkward in the group, Leandra began walking straight for her cabin. Once they finally got to Leandra's cabin, she slowly opened the door and then shouted into the cabin, "Hey, Manjano, I'm bringing some friends in now. Are you decent?"


The moment she shouted this, the music from their bedroom shut off. A minute or two passed before Manjano quietly exited their room and walked into the living room before seeing Leandra's head poking inside. Once Leandra saw that her brother was indeed decent, casually dressed in an unbuttoned button-down and jeans that hung a tad loosely on his hips along with being barefoot, she threw the door open and then walked in before saying with a grin to Greyson and Eve, "Welcome to our humble abode!" Seeing Manjano subtly frowning at the intrusion of privacy, Leandra then said, "Oh, and that's my twin brother, Manjano. Don't mind his pouting, he's never been too keen on social interaction in general." Manjano was practically scowling at this point and without a word, he went back into their bedroom to retrieve his guitar with the intentions of leaving to find somewhere more quiet...and desolate of people. Leandra furrowed her brows at her brother's reaction and then mumbled an apology to Greyson and Eve, saying, "Sorry, he didn't used to be that way..."

"Ah yeah." He nods and walks next to Topaz. "It's not so much that I like him at this moment. More of just his looks. So then I think, 'that's a cool look, I like the way their face looks this way.' and I guess in a way, we like people's looks because it reminds us of what we want to look like."


He looks over at Paz, "I'm from South Korea. My accent isn't very good, sorry." He starts picking a little at his fingers, "It sounds really bad, doesn't it? Even though I studied this language a lot too..." He then reaches out and grabs the parasol. "Of course."

"He just asked me if I said his name though" Greyson replied hearing the music's volume increase due to their decreasing distance from the "Love Song" cabin. They were going to pass by the window for sure. Might as well say something about the playing and the singing, but how could he do it without interrupting her? Greyson went a bit ahead of Leandra and Evelisse and walked by the opened window. "I'm not gonna write you to stay" He shortly harmonized that line silently before his eyes glanced into the cabin to spot out the person. Greyson would compliment her talents later. The teen walked on to Leandra's cabin and entered it after they did.


Greyson didn't let anyone hear him sing. His voice was okay though and he just harmonized with someone he never met. It was no big deal. In fact, it was pretty silent. "Hey Manjano" Greyson greeted. His gaze followed the silent twin as he entered the bedroom again. "It's fine. Everyone has their own way, right?" He said looking back at Leandra.

Evelisse began dancing a bit more, being sure to watch where she was going this time. She danced happily to the song before beginning to sing the song, not ashamed of her voice. When they got to the cabin. Eve walked in and looked around only briefly before seeing Manjango. She lifted her hand to wave but before she could, he was gone again. "Don't worry about it. It's perfectly fine," she said with a reassuring smile.

Rowan laughed when she gave the guy a jumpscare. He must have been real deep in his thoughts not to know that she was walking beside him. "Well at least it's good to know that my stealth skills are excellent..." She said chuckling. When he told her that he only listened to the ending of her little performance she just shrugged. "Well maybe you can catch my next one...that is if I ever do another one..." She spoke then stopped at his cabin. "I just threw all my stuff in my room since I will unpack later on...and on different topic...I didn't even introduce myself to you...the names Rowan...Rowan Kreiberg..." She stuck her hand out for the guy to shake smiling.
