Realistic or Modern A Camp for Musicians

"Sweet, thanks man" Greyson said as he entered the cabin. The other guy hadn't told him his name yet, but he would eventually learn it soon. He pulled his shirt off and took the patch out. "I just need you to stick this adhesive thing on the back of my right shoulder on the scapula area . . . I mean the shoulder blade" The teen requested before handing the patch to Kyungsoo and turning around. "I can reach it, but I wouldn't be able to position it correctly if I tried myself" Greyson explained before shutting himself up.

It was a good thing he had some of those patches packed up. The teen waited for Kyungsoo to put the patch on as he looked out the window. Evelisse and her new friend seemed to be doing just fine. He was glad he could contribute to that friendship even in the slightest way.

@Ophiel

Evelisse smiled widely at the thought and jumped up and down a bit. "I love it!" She said happily as she giggled slightly. Hearing the sound of horses, she thought for a moment before grabbing Leandra's hand and pulling her towards the sound. "Come on!" She said excitedly as she hurried towards the stables.

@Lioness075

Ally was taken back slightly as he placed the ears on her head. She bit her lip at the compliment he gave her. However, her brow furrowed slightly at the damsel in distress comment. "I'm not a damsel, nor am I in distress. I'm just a girl who needs her tv moved." she stated taking the ears off and handing them pack to him. It came out a bit harsher than she had intended. "I'm in cabin 3." she commented softly and began walking towards her cabin. He seems nice, maybe I could open up a b- She stopped her train of thought and reminded herself about what happens when she is openly herself. The scene from middle school played in her head, the kids laughing and her eating lunch by herself in the corner. She was never going to let that happen again.

She opened the door to her cabin, holding the door for him. As soon as she walked in, her disney music could be heard coming from the speaker. Ally immediately grabbed her phone, switching it to more age appropriate music. Allison's cheeks had a slight hue of pink covering them and gave an awkward chuckle "pandora..." she said shaking her head. "I don't know how it got to Disney." she said embarrassed. She looked up at him, "so um just move it, so there's enough room for my keyboard stand." she said pointing to the stand that was on the side waiting for more room.

@HighFlyer

Austin shrugged a bit at her refusal to accept the title he had given her. "Alright, but just saying, a girl who needs help sounds like a damsel in distress to me." A playful smirk replaced his amused one and he followed her to her cabin. He winced as she opened the door and he saw that other people's definition of organized was a lot different from his own. The Disney music, however, was completely unexpected and he coughed loudly to hide his laugh. He glanced at the Mickey ears in his hand and smiled at Ally. "Are you sure you don't want these?" he teased, although in a nice way and not in a way meant to hurt her feelings. Setting the ears on her bed, Austin moved to the television and sized it up as if he were an architect. That was one of the flaws he had. He was unable to do anything without making a joke out of it.

"Alright, alright. Here we go," he mumbled, giving himself a pep talk so he wouldn't embarrass himself by not being able to lift it. Gripping the sides of the table, he quickly lifted it and moved it about three feet to the side, leaving plenty of room for the keyboard. "Alright," he wiped his palms on his jeans, "all finished." Austin then nodded at the keyboard. He never was good at piano and always found people who could play simply astonishing. "Do you write your own stuff? Or just cover other people's stuff?"

Leandra giggled at Eve's excitement and then said with a grin, "I have a ton of dyes back in my cabin. We could do it tonight if you're up for it." Leandra felt excited to have made a great friend so early on while being here. She could only imagine what Manjano was up to back in the cabin. No doubt he was either drawing something or playing his guitar. Leandra really was going to need to get him involved with the others here. He needed to open up to someone and if it wasn't going to be Leandra, then maybe she needed to hook him up with a girl. Then again, Manjano had lost interest in romance a while ago, so Leandra wasn't even sure if he was only interested in girls. Maybe she could ask him tonight. Letting Eve grab her hand, Leandra grinned as she was led at a jogging pace in the direction of what she soon could see as the camp stables. Her heart raced with excitement at the idea of being able to ride horses while she was here. Looking sideways at Eve, Leandra then asked her, "Have you ever ridden a horse before?"

@Lexie

Back in the twins' cabin, Manjano was still quietly working on his sketch of their new studio. He had the window to their studio open so he could listen to the ambiance outside while he had YouTube pulled up on his laptop and quietly playing a playlist of songs by Tyler Ward. Glancing over at Leandra's drum set, Manjano then went to work drawing out every single detail, the corner of his mouth twitching as he realized how truly peaceful it was here. He was going to thoroughly enjoy it here if it continued this way.

"Yea all the time when I was younger," Evelisse said with a wide grin as she let go of the girl's hand and walked inside. She began to look around, walking up to a solid black horse with a small smile. "Hey girl," she whispered soothingly as she held her hand out to allow the animal to get used to her. She slowly moved her hand up to her nose, petting her gently before kissing her nose.

She turned away and grabbed a saddle before walking back over, taking her time to saddle the horse up. When she finished, she smiled softly and gently pet her side. "Good girl," she whispered before taking the reins and leading her out of the stables. She brought her left foot up and carefully mounted the horse with a smile before walking her around in circles to get used to the feeling as she waited on Leandra.

@Lioness075

Leandra grinned, pleased to hear the other girl knew what she was doing as well. Entering the stables, Leandra soon spotted a pinto horse nickering at her from the back. Approaching the horse gingerly, Leandra avoided eye contact while cautiously holding her hand out for the horse to smell her before Leandra gingerly began rubbing the horse's nose. Grinning now, Leandra pat the horse on the neck before turning away to grab reins and a saddle for the horse.

Once saddled up, Leandra led her horse outside as well, seeing Eve nearby. Since Leandra had been actively riding before getting here, she didn't need any practice. Nimbly, Leandra mounted her horse and then settled into the saddle before leading her horse at a walk over to where Eve was. Smiling at her, Leandra then asked her, "Where to?"

@Lexie

"No problem." Kyungsoo takes the patch from Grey, and nods. "Um, right here?" He asks, placing his empty hand on Grey's right shoulder. This is really only an excuse to touch his body. After all, he was kind of asked to anyway.

"I don't know where exactly. And um, are you really hurt?" He applies a small amount of pressure where his hand is. "My name is Kyungsoo." He watches for a reaction, hoping it's not too much pressure to hurt him.

@RyanJXavier

"Yeah right there" Greyson replied after nodding at Kyungsoo's question. He awaited the cold contact of that Icy Hot patch. It usually caught him by surprise, but now Greyson was ready. The teen expected the freezing sensation around his right shoulder area. Greyson grimaced a bit when he felt Kyungsoo apply the small amount of pressure to his shoulder. "A little" He mumbled then tried to recall why his shoulder was hurting in the first place.

Bags wouldn't cause his shoulder to ache that much. At the same time, his shoulder didn't feel like it was about to fall of. "I probably slept on it or something . . . wait no fell off a tree. Yeah that's it" Greyson recalled himself climbing up a tree and installing some lights in his backyard. A branch just snapped under his right foot as he was climbing back down causing him to land mainly onto his back with most of the pressure distributed onto his right shoulder. It wasn't dislocated though or red though. Neither was there any kind of bruise.

@Ophiel

Glancing over at the redhead, Eve smiled softly as she thought. "I guess back the way we came," she said softly as she gently kicked the sides of the horse, causing her to move forward ast a steady canter. She grew quiet as she looked at their surroundings, her thoughts wandering away from what she was doing. She soon found a small smile on her face as she stared off into the distance. It was her first day here and it was already one of the best of her life. "We can go back to your cabin and get some of your things and we can stay in mine tonight. I'm in it by myself and I wouldn't mind cooking us some snacks. Kind of like a sleepover and you can do my hair then," she suggested as she glanced over at Leandra, silently finding herself wondering if Grey would like it.

Leandra whipped the reins lightly, bringing her horse to a steady canter alongside Eve. Seeing Eve's mind wandering, Leandra took the moment to look around at the nature surrounding the camp. She could only wonder if a lake or river was nearby. It seemed there were more forests and open, grassy areas than anything else. Though, Leandra was more curious to know all of the other campers. So far, she'd only met one. Surely there were more, right? Hearing Eve's suggestion, Leandra then grinned and said, "Sure, sounds brilliant. You can even meet my brother while I'm gathering my things. Fair warning though, he doesn't talk...at all." Leandra instantly felt uncomfortable at mentioning this and glanced away, suddenly finding a random log in the distance highly interesting.

After tapping on her drums for a a bit Topaz stood back up and started hooking up her sound system. She then plugged in her laptop and set up

without the drums to begin playing in one minute. She then hurried over, scooting up her seat and spinning the drumsticks in her hands. It started off slow and steady. A simple beat that anyone can do. But as soon as the tempo picked up she was using all her arm strength to hit each part correctly, using her heels she was wearing to help with the bass. By the end of the song she was slightly out of breath and sweating. Before Topaz could do anything unless her phone rang. She stood up and scurried over to her phone, sliding it to answer.
"Hello?" She cooed, answering her fathers phone call.

"Have you left your cabin yet?"

"...No sir." She answered, metally pouting.

"Go outside right now." He father demanded. Topaz just hung up and placed her phone in her bra. She walked back over to the counter and grabbed her sunglasses, placing them over her eyes. After spraying on sunscreen she grabbed her parasol and headed outside, opening the umbrella up and covering herself in shade. She then made her way past the cabins and such. So many people seemed to be here already. We she around it seemed like no one was going to come, but now there was people everywhere. Paz pouted slightly but continued walking, ready to explore.

((Sorry, i was at a seminar today. I didn't know who was open to interact with so i just made Paz's very broad.))

Evelisse glanced over at the other and nodded with a smile. "I can handle that," she said solemnly. As they approached the cabin Eve had seen a boy poking his head through, she stopped suddenly and stared at the door. "Fair warning, there's a boy that lives that that found it fun to eavesdrop on my conversation I was having with Greyson just before I met you," she said, keeping her eyes on the door. Finally pulling them away, she smiled softly and gently whipped the reins, allowing the horse to start walking slowly.

@Lioness075

Leandra looked back at Eve and curiously peered at the cabin of them mentioned boy. Shrugging at what Eve said of him, Leandra then said, "Perhaps he's not very socially-oriented. I dunno, some people are weird like that." Leandra was never one to discredit someone or judge them before actually getting to know them so she wasn't about to think poorly of a boy she didn't even know yet. Hearing the name of someone she didn't know, Leandra glanced sideways at Eve and then whipped the reins to have her horse walk alongside Eve's. Grinning, Leandra then asked Eve, "So, who's Greyson?"

@Lexie

"Given I'm not judging. It just rubbed me the wrong way. I'm not a fan of people listening to my conversation," Eve said as she looked over at Leandra the ahead of her. At her next question, Eve could feel her cheeks slowly turning red though she tried to hide it and play it off calmly. "Just a guy I ran into...literally. I fell on my ass," she said with a slight shrug as she recalled her embarrassing moment.

Rowan rode around the music camp on her skateboard that has special wheels on them. She had her guitar bags on her left shoulder and her duffle bags that held her clothes and other things on her right shoulder. She had her headphones on but was able to know what's going on with her surroundings. She hummed her favorite song then stopped in front of the room where she will be staying at and hopefully invite friends over. She hopped off her board and climbed up the steps entering the room and seeing how awesome it looked. "Oh yeah...I'm gonna love it here..." She said to herself before going to her bed and throws her duffle bags on it since she will be unpacking her things later on that day. She stretched a little bit taking her guitar case that had her guitar in it along with her special drum sticks and her skateboard then walked out the room. She hopped down all steps and hopped back on her board and resumed her ride through the camp. Hopefully she could make some more friends here and keep them. That's all she wanted...was to make friends she could trust.

Leandra giggled at the idea of Eve literally running into someone and then falling down. Seeing Eve's blushing, Leandra's grin widened, as she said in a teasing tone, "You have a crush on Greyson, don't you?" She winked after asking this, already recognizing the telltale signs of someone liking someone else.

@Lexie

Evelisse was pretty sure her jaw was on the ground at her next words. "What?! No! I know nothing about him other than his name," she said in shock as she felt herself blush even darker. "It was all just embarrassing," she said, regaining her composure as she looked over at Leandra. "I'm pretty sure I looked like a complete idiot."

@Lioness075

"Alright" He says and slowly applies the patch. "I guess you should be ok now." Kyungsoo grabs Grey's shirt and looks it over. "Different style of clothing than in Korea.." He hands it back to Grey.

"It is very nice" Kyungsoo walks over to where he stored his clothes and pulls out a shirt. "In Korea, we have styles like this. Um, but I was wondering. Why did you ask me to do this and not somebody else?"

@RyanJXavier

The freezing patch finally made contact with Greyson's skin. Dang that's cold! Grey thought to himself without giving away his thoughts through some kind of radical reaction. "Thanks" Greyson said as he pulled his shirt on. He listened to Kyungsoo's question then responded, "Because I already saw you peeking out the door. That, and you were the closest one at that moment". His gaze eyed the Korean shirt for a while before he said anything else. "I guess it's because of our different climate zones and peer influences" The teen explained feeling the coldness on his shoulder.

"Media too. It's whatever is marketed to your country. Fads and all that generally create a massive impact on cultural society, you know?" Greyson paused himself once his own words started to register in his mind. He barely got to talk with any of the international students at his school so his curiosity was probably getting the best of him now.

@Ophiel

"Well I was peeking at you and that girl." He shakes his head in embarassment. "I am sorry." Kyungsoo turns to greyson and bows. "I am normally not this formal, but I don't know you and you are in my space."

He stands back up straight. "I think it's also because of my style. I like wearing a different genre of clothing than other people i know. Especially from my father." He sighs and sits down at his bed. "Do you need anything else?"

@RyanJXavier

"It's okay. I understand how curiosity can get the best of us sometimes" Greyson said smiling a bit as an attempt to relieve whatever tension Kyungsoo may have been feeling. Kyungsoo's sigh gave away his current emotion. "Nah, I'm all good. Thanks again, bro! I'll go ahead and get out of your space now" The teen replied to his new friend's question. Greyson paused for a moment then continued, "If you want to hang out some time just go ahead and knock on my door. And if I'm not in the cabin, then I'm just wandering around. It was nice meeting you".

Greyson turned around and exited Kyungsoo's cabin. It seemed like the guy needed some space to reflect or something. Nothing wrong with that though. Reflecting is completely normal. Greyson looked around the area for more people to meet since he would have to spend quite a few days with them anyway.

Kyungsoo waves back at Grey, "Ok, I'll look for you later then. Goodbye. Nice meeting you too, Greyson." He smiles and lays down on his bed. This trip will be better than expected. Well, depending on what else happens. He looks over to see if he had left.

Sure enough Greyson is gone. "So he's also my type, huh? I don't know him." He sits up and slaps his own face. "No, Kyungsoo! Don't get your hopes up!" He pulls on his hair lightly, "This is not the right time or place. Don't be gay right now.. it won't work out..." He takes a deep breath in, and out. "..........." Suddenly he drops himself to the floor in frustration, "Aaaagh! I can't believe this, I am crushing on someone I will never see again after camp!"

Ally was slightly embarrassed about the whole Disney thing. Sure it was kind of childish, but anything Disney is a classic and she loved it. However, she wasn't about to go scream about how much she loves Disney from the rooftops. She watched him curiously as it seemed like it was a whole drawn out process for him to move the television. Once it was successfully moved Allison plugged it back and and then moved her keyboard in place. Her cabin was coming together nicely, but there was still a couple of things to put away. It was mostly clothes. She was just about to thank him for his help and get back to unpacking, but she heard his question and chewed on her inside cheek slightly.

She debated whether she should tell him the truth or not. When people hear you write your own songs, they usually want to hear one and she hated playing in front of people. Her parents' words of encouragement replayed in her head. Ally gave him a small shrug as she nervously tugged on her sleeves. "I write a bit...sort of. They're not good though." She quickly added the last part, hoping that that would dissuade him from wanting to hear her play. Luckily he doesn't know that she sings too so she only had to worry about playing the keyboard. Just then, Ally thought about changing the subject so he won't ask her to preform for him. "So, thanks for the help..." she said softly, giving him a polite smile.

Nice dude. Grey thought to himself as he walked around and thought about the cold Icy Hot patch on his shoulder. His gaze then shifted over to a girl holding up an umbrella. No one seemed to be approaching her at the moment. Why not? Greyson thought while making his way over to the girl. He didn't want to scare her by randomly appearing next to her, so he made sure that he walked up to her using a diagonal route. Her peripheral vision should be able to see him in someway. Within a few moments, Greyson caught up to Topaz and began walking in sync with her.

"Nice umbrella you got there. Not a big fan of the sun, are you?" He asked before looking at Topaz. Maybe ultraviolet rays and free vitamin D weren't her thing at all. She had really light skin paired up with her unique style. Her shade was the lightest Greyson had ever seen. Well, it wasn't as white as the little icons on top of this webpage, but it was still quite light.
