Finn

"There really is no end to this bullshit." The knight girded himself and considered his options. With the spear incoming, Finn took second to counter it's incoming flight... He could swear he was fighting his allies and the bugs at this rate... Foolishness... They could barely see, but yet people wanted to blast and throw...!?

Foolishness, foolishness, if they had simply just listened and not gone insane from the get go two people would be still alive! And where was that sneaking one? And that guy with the fashionable coat had been kicking Eris, a thing Finn was admittably wanting to do himself after that foolishness... But now wasn't the time for complaining.

With a flick up with his sword he used an ability to counter the incoming spear, he would then focus on leaving the hazard as soon as possible, this had gone straight into a damn mess... He had expected competence again and was met with chaos...

Not a single one having or following a plan, reactiveness and foolishness...

Hiroshi suddenly felt reinvigorated, little by little gaining the usage of his legs once more. Did it have to do with that bright chapel that formed the zealot? He would cast a last glance towards the group, which seemed to be deep in the mud. Even some bizarre, humanoid looking bug apparently had a beef with them. Its appearance was bizarre... looking like some hero from a sentai Japanese show.

Well, that wasn't his problem. With a long puff of gray smoke from his lips, he chose to resume his walking. Every second he wasted there was another chance for the group to catch up with him, and then who knew what was going to happen. With that, he continued moving forward, carefully, step-after-step.

Yukan Koyake

Apparently Yukan struck so hard he managed to throw his spear which hadn’t exactly been the plan, nevertheless With it being too dangerous to reasonably clear the area to get the spear with the large degree of hazard in play on the battlefield his options were more limited, so he’d move with a passive fast skill grade of D over to Deliverance, using the light of the ongoing magic to see and he’d position himself in such a way as to avoid the magic that Deliverance was casting from his hand which was sticking out, before he’d use an action to try to uncover his face from the debris to better his chance of being able to see and speak.

Yukan would then focus on using another action to uncover as much of Deliverance’s body as possible working his way down. He’d then call out to Finnegan.

“Finnegan! If you aren’t going to use that shield toss it over!” Presuming that Finn was capable of doing so at this point.

Actions:
1. Move over to Deliverance using the light from magic to see the largely buried caster to such a position where he is out of the way of the magic that Deliverance is trying to cast.
2. Use an action to work on unburying Deliverance's face/head so he can see, speak, and breathe better.
3. Use another action uncovering as much of Deliverance's body as possible.

Eris watched as the light from her cathedral and the walls started to crack and splinter until being left with the light from the divine weapon. She know that they were going to need more light than just her weapon. ""Goddess Holfeel let me be the light in the dark so that I can be a beacon to guide the lost souls!" Eris recited as she touched her robes which she hoped the already latent glow would amplify the rest. A this point in time she knew one person was still missing with one being trapped under rocks and that was when she noticed the wannabe mobster was gone.

Letting out a small sigh of relief at least now she could help with the recovery and keep the area light for the others. "Book of Icarus verse 9-11, Be my weapon and deliver those to the light for I command you. Take up arms and bet he bear of my holy weapon!" She chanted but this time the divine energy took the form of a shield that she used to add to the light she was already generating.

Eris then moved back slightly to provide Yukan with a bit more light, "Once you free them, we are going to have to make a choice: find our other comrade or focus on the bug next." Eris spoke to Yukan.

OOC: Eris has Deliverance's ring catalyst. Only Deliverance's hand was exposed, so all the magic shots were done blindly. To find Ninelle, the party will have to search for her under the rubble. Homing is not a substitute for selective. Spells without specified ranges typically go full range. Regen countdown resets when character is full healed and doesn't continue counting down. Shadow Descent

1726022057690-png.1184589

In the claustrophobic darkness of the tunnel, Deliverance found his vision constricted to mere slivers of the dim, oppressive surroundings. With his ring catalyst on Eris's finger, he was left with limited magical options. He conjured small balls of fire that spiraled upward, briefly illuminating the cavernous space. The fleeting light revealed the jagged contours of the tunnel ceiling before the fireballs struck it, dislodging chunks of stone that cascaded down. Although his rocky barrier shielded him from the worst, a sharp stone nicked his exposed hand. Deliverance unleashed a barrage of ethereal blight—vivid, colorful orbs of magic—that streaked down the tunnel in the loose direction of the elite bug and those confronting him: Yukan and Finn. [Finn and Yukan must defend themselves from Deliverance's spell] The elite bug, with a casual gesture, directed the orbs downward where they burrowed into the dirt and were extinguished.

Nearby, Finn reacted with lightning reflexes as Yukan’s spear hurtled toward him. With a skilled parry, his sword met the spear, but the impact left his blade cracked and vulnerable. [Finn's sword takes 5 damage] As the elite bug exerted its powerful gravitational force, Finn leaped away, landing near Deliverance's rock pile. Finn would find he had no wounds that needed healing. Meanwhile, the spear that had helped fight the elite bug and was stuck in the stone was swiftly splittered and shattered before the Elite bug left its place in the tunnel, its force enough to break the weapon. [Yukan's spear takes 5 damage]

In the backdrop of this turmoil, Hiroshi had vanished into the deeper shadows of the tunnel, wandering aimlessly. The sparse glowing moss offered little guidance, barely piercing the overwhelming darkness. Disoriented, HIroshi would need to decide what to do with himself, his situation growing increasingly dire the longer he wondered the tunnels. [Challenge B]

Meanwhile, Yukan, his energy drained from the previous encounters, managed only a slow dash to Deliverance’s side. He lifted the mage from the rubble with great effort, only to discover the grim reality of Deliverance's condition—his left leg was missing below the thigh. As Yukan supported Deliverance, the mage leaned heavily on him, their progress halting and labored. [Deliverance will be moving at half speed so long as he has something to lean on. If it's a person, they will be restricted to moving at deliverance's speed]

As the crisis unfolded, Eris, her robes made to glow with an intensified light, gave the party means to see by. The stark brightness contrasted sharply with the encroaching gloom, making the elite bug's approach all the more sinister. The figure of the bug emerged from the shadows just beyond the circle of light, its power it exuded grinding stone in its wake.

The elite bug advanced, its presence alone enough to make the debris underfoot crumble. The air grew heavy, thick with the threat of crushing force as it neared the huddled group. Eris, Deliverance, Yukan, and Ori stood together, illuminated starkly against the darkness, the light from Eris’s robes drawing stark lines across their faces. The tunnel echoed with the sound of retreating bugs, their maimed bodies dragging and clattering away from the overwhelming might of the elite adversary. [B grade hazard]

Having been dragged out of the rubble, it'd be clear to the others that Deliverance's wasn't in the right mind right now. With Ninelle missing, his leg missing, past trauma from his time as a slave arising and the circumstances becoming too much, he'd just call out. “Get out!” It wasn't entirely clear whom he shouted at, but should his teammates pay any attention, they might realise they'd best start getting out. Assuming Yukan let go of him, he'd attempt to [Focus B] just cast regardless as he feared wasting time to sit down or lean against something would only allow the incoming hazard to kill him before he'd finish casting.

A quick look around told him he wasn't going to find Ninelle in there. If this had to be how it ends... so be it. Perhaps they could find their Ethereal ending together in the afterlife. He started chanting, trying to use the glow of Eris' armour, Finn's shield and whatever light Eris' had created or his own former spells might have remain to avoid allies with [Selective], although it'd failed them more often than not by now. Perhaps they'd be smart enough to start running in the opposite direction of the bug, which was where he was aiming his magic at. That way he could at least selectively avoid the area behind him. Especially since he'd not be surprised if he'd end up collapsing the tunnels soon...

He wasn't sure what to expect from a bug, but if this bug had any intellect, perhaps it'd see a hint of madness and fury in his eyes as he'd attempt challenge the bug head-on. Perhaps it'd even allow him to go down in some glory? Not that he cared, his mind was empty of most thoughts, other than a wish to end it all and go to wherever Ninelle might be. He'd grab hold of his amulet, having realised his ring had been stolen at some point.

“A looming light dazzles in these darkened tunnels.
I call upon it to make its colours that of my revenge.
May it heed my call and form upon my beckoning wrath.
To fly, to rush, to destroy all I face and leave nothing.
With this I end it, [Ethereal Blight]!”

Debuff and Damaging spells will act as a hazard and inflict 1 point of damage on any object or creature that comes into contact with you. Effect only lasts so long as Magic Circle remains active or spell duration (whichever is shortest).

Should he be able to do so, he'd follow it up with another attack. His mind even more broken than his body was, at this point.

Yukan Koyake
Everything was going to hell in a hand basket really quickly. It was apparent that Deliverance had pretty well lost his state of well being after the events that had occurred and was lobbing spells around that much had been clear when Yukan had to dodge the magic attacks.

He'd hear Deliverance call out to get out and he knew full well that he'd need too, while Yukan generally didn't believe in turning his back on the enemy, sometimes a strategic movement was necessary to not die so the fight could be resumed later and in this case he wasn't about to get himself killed by friendly fire if it could be avoided. Yukan would have to stop Supporting Deliverance upright and first use Darkvision F + Sixth Sense Danger F + Acrobatics D to dodge the oncoming magical onslaught.

For his second action Yukan would attempt to grab the shield that Finn attempted to give him and have it equipped.

Then Yukan would use a combination of Darkvision F + Acrobatics C + Speed D + Sixth sense Danger F To follow Finn to get away from the blast and the possible ensuing damage that was going to happen as a result of it presumably. Depending on how catastrophic the blast was that transpired it would depend if Yukan was able to stay and fight the enemy or not, probably largely depending on structural damage and who was left.

At some point, Hiroshi stopped and began scratching his head. The dark tunnels, with so little visibility, looked more like labyrinths. Actually, they were exactly like those. "Heh, that nun's glowing tunic would have been a good way to see through this darkness." He would mutter to his crooks companions, with at least one saving grace: the fungi at least allowed him for some sliver of vision. Maybe it was time to put his knowledge of the streets into use again? As they say, second time is the charm.

With those thoughts on his mind, he crouched down, forming a shell with his hand, placing it right behind his ear. With his eyes darting around, what he could see, he attempted to hone his senses to any clue of direction. "See if you guys pick up on anything that could give us a hint through this fuck-fest." Telling thus for the others, he concentrated in his own verification of their surroundings.

Shadow Descent

A chaotic energy brewed as Deliverance gathered his magical wrath. The cavern, already tight with tension, was now a crucible of swirling mana that whirled around him like a tempest. As he gathered energy, a brilliant display of power erupted, casting a blinding light that swept through the tunnel with relentless force. This divine-like radiance, rivaled only by the power that had resurrected him, washed over everything, stripping the shadows from their crevices and overwhelming the senses of all present.

Finn, struggling against the unintended consequences of Deliverance's earlier spell, raised his Orichalcum shield. The shield's radiant surface flared as it absorbed most of the ethereal assault, but not all. A sliver of the spell slipped through, coursing through Finn's body with a venomous surge. Pain wracked his frame, and ethereal tendrils snaked out from him, binding him to the spot. He became a statue, his body rooted to the stone floor by the magic that also sapped his strength. His attempts to activate a powerful movement ability faltered, his energy reserves depleted by the effort.

Yukan, close by, found himself similarly ensnared. The residual magic from Deliverance's previous spells had woven an invisible cage around him, locking his limbs and rooting him in place alongside Finn. Together, they faced the blinding storm of magic, unable to move, barely able to see through the overwhelming brilliance that filled the tunnel.

Eris, not tangled like the others, was able to run down the tunnel. Her robes, aglow with their own light, trailed behind her as she dashed towards safety. But the tunnel was too confined, the light too swift; she could not escape the reach of Deliverance's unleashed power. The light enveloped her, sweeping her into its radiant embrace as she was caught in the magical deluge.
(Deliverance, Finn, Yukan, Eris, Ninelle, Arkham are dead. Please wait for grade.)

Farther back, in the depths of the dark hive and still lost despite his best efforts, Hiroshi would feel the ground tremble violently under his feet. The ominous rumble was the precursor to disaster as several tunnels around him began to collapse. The air thickened with dust and debris, choking the narrow passages and making visibility impossible. In this blinding darkness, Hiroshi's situation grew desperate. As the world around him crumbled, he would realize he could no longer hear anything—his auditory senses snuffed out by some unseen force. His predicament was dire, his path uncertain, and his demise creeping closer in the suffocating silence. [?x ?? grade attacks]

With the rambling and shaking of the tunnel around him, Hiroshi's heart began to race. Once more, his vision had turned pitch-black, ears failing him as he couldn't hear anything. Yet, he would be damned if he would go out quietly. Steeling himself, unsure if his companions could hear him, he bellowed. "If you got a torch up your ass, it is time to light it! Otherwise, hit whatever seems to be approaching us!"

With his chest thumping, feeling that his heart might end up in his mouth, his feet began to move amidst the abyss. He wasn't sure on what he was aiming at, but if he could touch it, he was set in breaking some carapaces.

Shadow Descent

In the shadow-laden depths of the hive, the last echoes of battle faded into a heavy, oppressive silence. Hiroshi, desperate and disoriented, tried to rally his men, his mouth moving frantically in the darkness. But no sound came; his voice, like his hope, disappeared into the void. Blind and bereft of direction, the group stumbled through the pitch-black tunnels, their hands outstretched, grasping for any sign of their foe. Yet, it was the enemy that found them first, unseen and lethal.

The unknown assailant, a silent assassin in the gloom, acted upon the hive invaders with a grace unrealized. Hiroshi and his men, unable to see or hear their attacker, felt only the brief, chilling sensation of their bodies being methodically dismantled. A sharp, inexplicable pain shot through them, a fleeting warning of their imminent demise before their senses were extinguished entirely. In these final moments, the darkness of the tunnel became a merciful veil, sparing them the horror of watching their own end.

As the last of Hiroshi's men's cries went unheard, swallowed by the cavernous belly of the hive, the implications of their success would outlive them. The bugs, those monstrous architects of subterranean terror, had been left intact although not unscathed. The party, who had ventured with hopes of turning the tide in the Fae Human war, had instead become mere footnotes in its vast, unforgiving saga.

The tunnel now stood silent, a tomb for the fallen and a dark example of the ruthlessness of nature. Above, the surface world remained oblivious to the struggles that had unfolded in the depths below. The outcome of the war, influenced subtly by the events in this forgotten cavern, would unfold in its own time, shaped by unseen hands and unknown sacrifices.

There were a few mistakes made and several lessons learned. I imagine whenever next time rolls around folks will be more particular about teammates and ability usage. But one of the fun elements of worlds is you just never know what's gonna happen next. This was a win for sabotage team, but a couple choices mean fae get some points together the final outcome too.

Aftermath
Ultimately, the hive was not terminated and regardless the efforts of the other teams, a bug presence would remain. Additionally, the losses incurred by the mission were far greater than anyone had anticipated. An already war torn land and people would have to face the reality that they were no longer top of the food chain in.

Epilogue
Amidst the death and silence of the dark hive, where the bodies of Eris, Ninelle, Deliverance, and Yukan (or what remained of them) lay still, the atmosphere seemed to grow heavier. The crumbled remnants of stone and debris filled the narrow tunnels, the only movement the slight shifting of dust in the air. Darkness, thick and unrelenting, wrapped tightly around the fallen heroes, suffocating and final. Yet, within that stillness, a disturbance began to stir, soft at first, a subtle distortion in the air.

From the shadows, an ethereal shimmer drifted like a wayward butterfly, carried by unseen currents. It floated aimlessly above the remains, hovering just above their final resting spots before it dropped, vanishing into the dirt and rubble. For a heartbeat, all was still once again, and then—light.

Brilliant beams exploded outward, piercing the suffocating dark as radiant as the dawn. Splintered debris and stone lifted from the ground as if by invisible hands, frozen mid-air, suspended in the sudden brilliance. At the center of the light, a figure began to take form, bathed in divine radiance that seemed to hum with holy power. Cloaked in papal robes devoid of color yet glowing with an ethereal sheen, stood the Pope of the Fae See. His presence was both godlike and humble, an ancient being who chose to walk among his followers rather than reign from afar.

"Rise, my champion. This dark hour needs stalwart hearts where light yet remains," his voice echoed through the tunnel, not booming, but gentle, with an authority that commanded life itself.

With a subtle swirl of his finger, the Pope summoned an unseen force. The air itself seemed to respond, bursting into an orchestral chorus, a forgotten melody that resonated through the hollowed stone. A pillar of light descended from the heavens, filling the dark hive with a brightness that pierced even the farthest corners of the cavern. Three forms began to gather within that light, their bodies suspended in the radiance.

The Pope stepped forward, his gaze settling on Eris, her lifeless form lying amidst the debris. His hand extended gently toward her, a warm glow enveloping her broken body.

"Eris, priestess of the light and hero of Courage. Rise and serve your people," his voice tender but firm. As the light infused her, her body mended, breath returning to her lungs as her wounds healed. Her eyes fluttered open, the divine power coursing through her. "Your fear of the traitor has led you astray. Next time, remember that courage is not found in rash action but in faith and wisdom. Grow stronger in your resolve."

Eris rose, the light around her brightening, her robes now glowing with divine purpose, as though she had been reforged by the very light that gave her life.

The Pope then turned his attention to the still forms of Ninelle and Deliverance, their bodies in varying states of crumbling bits lying in silence. He touched them both, a gentle hand of mercy, and as his light washed over them, they began to stir—but not as they were before. The divine resurrection was not complete, their forms left altered by death. Deliverance’s body darkened, his once-human visage twisted into something otherworldly, ethereal and translucent, with shimmering veins of light running through his form like cracks in glass. His hands glowed, the magic within him now visibly pulsing.

"Ninelle, child of nature corrupted and hero of Wisdom. Rise and serve your people," the Pope said softly as she, too, was touched by his light. Her body reformed, but not as it had been. Nature clung to her, moss and vines growing from her skin, her form entwined with the living essence of the earth. Her eyes glowed an unnatural green, and her limbs moved with the grace of a creature no longer bound to life in its usual sense. She was undead, but vibrant, a vessel of nature’s decay and renewal.

Together, their forms stood, partially reanimated, two beings of unnatural beauty and horror. The undead forms of Deliverance and Ninelle seemed to complement one another: Deliverance, a being of ethereal magic, a spirit, and Ninelle, of twisted nature, their powers intertwined in death as they had been in life.

"The burden you must bare now is unfair, but together, you will overcome."

The Pope's eyes softened as he turned toward another corpse's resting place. A deep sigh escaped his lips. "Yukan, noble leader of beastmen, this was not your war, yet you fought it anyway. My people owe you a debt, but I have spent too much to bring back these champions," he murmured. Yet, his heart was moved with pity for the warrior’s plight. With a wave of his hand, he summoned forth one of his elemental cardinals. The spiritual fae, an embodiment of elemental power, appeared—a being of pure flame, its light illuminating the tunnel like a second dawn. While the Pope was a noon day sun, the Cardinal was like a blazing bonfire.

The cardinal knelt beside Yukan’s lifeless body, placing a flaming hand upon his chest. Yukan’s body convulsed as fire coursed through him, his veins glowing with the intensity of molten lava. The flame cardinal disappeared, leaving Yukan’s body infused with the elemental power of fire. He rose, his eyes burning with a new purpose, the spear he lost previously reassembling in his hand with glowing embers in the cracks of the metal and shaft that crackled with new life and a scorching heat.

The Pope, his task complete, stepped back, surveying the resurrected warriors before him. He nodded, satisfied with the outcome, though the weight of loss still hung in the air.

"Serve your people. Protect them, for the darkness still remains."

Then, his brow furrowed, a fleeting thought crossing his mind. He glanced around, his eyes distant, as though searching for something forgotten. "I feel... I’ve forgotten something." His voice trailed off, and the light around him dimmed as he disappeared into the ether, leaving the resurrected warriors standing amid the silent wreckage.

The tunnel, once bathed in holy light, returned to its natural gloom. When the power had left, the tunnel shifted again. The ceiling partially collapsed to reveal daylight. They were not yet safe, but were 'alive' once again.

Elsewhere...

Finn awoke to the biting chill of an autumn wind, the cold air of Rotia stinging his bare skin. Around him, the barren landscape stretched, the rugged hills bracing for the impending winter. The Kingdom of Rotia was known for its freezing winters, where men battled monstrous behemoths and the great mechs called Fullers strode into war. The land was hard, and so was the life.

Finn’s breath fogged in the air as he sat up, his body unfamiliar—changed. He was stripped of everything, his clothes, his weapons, even the weight of his past. Beside him, another figure stirred, equally bare, equally lost. Both alive, imbued with new strength, but vulnerable and exposed in a land preparing once again for war.

Far Below...

In depths unreached of the bug hive, far below in the dark, the air was still and thick with the scent of sweet. Hidden in the heart of the earth, beneath layers of rock and ruin, the Nest pulsed with a sinister life of its own. Shadows clung to the jagged walls, the only light coming from the faint glow of bioluminescent fungi, casting a sickly hue over the chamber. Here, the queen of the hive rested, surrounded by the hulking forms of her elite attendants, each standing watch over her throne of twisted roots and stone.

A low, guttural hiss echoed through the chamber, breaking the oppressive silence. One of the elite bugs stepped forward, its insectoid features illuminated by the dim glow. In an archaic form of the beastman insectoid tongue, "One of our number is dead," it rasped, its mandibles clicking softly, the tone devoid of emotion but heavy with meaning.

Another elite, slightly smaller but no less imposing, moved forward from the shadows, dragging a bundle behind it. "But we have... materials," it hissed, presenting its offering to the queen. The 'materials' were a gruesome collection of limbs and flesh, severed neatly into pieces, unrecognizable to all but the most observant.

The queen’s compound eyes gleamed as she leaned forward, her gaze fixed on the offering. She inspected the remains with an air of detachment, her long, spindly fingers grazing over the flesh. "These will do," she declared with a satisfied hiss, her voice a low, commanding whisper that sent a shiver through the chamber.

Time passed, and deep within the nest, a new figure knelt before the queen, his form draped in a dark cloak that obscured much of his body. He was smaller than the other elite bugs, his posture humble as he bowed before his new monarch. His face, though partially concealed by the hood, was familiar—strikingly human in appearance, yet marred by a single, unmistakable detail. His eyes, though mostly hidden, flickered with the distinctive compound structure of the elite, a sign of his nature and allegiance.

As the queen loomed over him, her gaze narrowed in approval. The new elite bug, once **Arkham**, met her gaze. For a fleeting moment, his eyes shimmered, shifting back to a more human form—eyes that carried traces of his former self. Then, as quickly as they had changed, they returned to the cold, insectoid gaze of the elite.

"Rise," the queen hissed, her voice laced with praise. "You are reborn. You will serve me well."

The figure slowly stood, his compound eyes flickering once more before vanishing beneath the shadows of his hood. The queen’s satisfaction hung heavy in the air as the chamber fell silent again, the nest now home to a new, deadly creature.

Ninelle(deceased) - ??? points
  • Mandatory titles acquired [Verdant Revenant] - Ninelle has returned as a Verdant Revenant, an undead infused with the essence of twisted nature. Her body is entwined with vines, moss, and decaying plant life, giving her the appearance of both decay and renewal. She draws power from the natural world, though it manifests in a darker, more corrupted form. Her abilities should narrate as centering on manipulating the cycle of life and death in nature, using the decay around her to heal, defend, and attack. Her machine parts, what remains of them, persist, stickied together by various plant sourced aids.
While title persists - Ninelle's equipment will always be 1 or more grades weaker in effectiveness at narrator discretion. She will also not be permitted to stay indoors or to have prolonged contact with most other people. Her mere presence ages and rots the stuff around her.
Yukan(deceased) - ??? points
  • optional title acquired [Champion of Holy Fire] - Character has been resurrected as a Champion of the Fae See's church of flames, imbued with the fiery essence of the elemental cardinal. Champions are fierce defenders of the Fae, called upon in times of need to fight for the survival and honor of their people. Though not as rare as Heroes, Champions hold great respect and admiration among their kin, and their fiery strength is a beacon of hope in times of conflict.
Champions are bound by duty to protect the Fae See, especially when their elemental strength is needed in battle. They are drawn to conflicts where their powers are most potent and are known for their fierce resilience and ability to turn the tide of battle. While not invincible, a Champion’s fall is a grave loss for the Fae, for their elemental power weakens with their absence. Champions have limited sway over fate, but when they fight for their people, their presence is enough to inspire courage and unity in those around them.
The nation of the Fae honors their Champions, granting them freedom to come and go, and providing for them in times of peace. In turn, the Champions are expected to rise whenever their people call, answering the summons of battle with the fire that burns within them.

Deliverance(deceased) - ??? points
  • Mandatory title acquired [Luminous Wraith] - Deliverance has been reanimated as a Luminous Wraith, an ethereal undead form that channels pure, raw magic. His translucent body shimmers with arcane energy, and the light within him flickers like a dying star. While his form is ghostly, he has retained his connection to magic, casting spells that weave through the arcane plane. His existence is both fragile and dangerous, as his magic is now more unstable and volatile, yet he retains his ability to interact with the material plane same as before.
Deliverance's unstable magical form radiates waves of arcane energy that interfere with the natural world. This energy can disrupt nearby magic, causing spells to be more likely to misfire, enchantments to weaken, or even unravel entirely. His ghostly presence also distorts the atmosphere, causing fluctuations in light and temperature, with cold drafts often accompanying him. For those around him, living near his arcane power creates a disorienting, almost haunting sensation, as if they are constantly on the verge of entering another plane of existence. The unpredictable surges of his magic can also induce headaches, dizziness, or hallucinations in others.
Finn(deceased) - ??? points
  • optional asset acquired [Full Scoop Token] - when used, character is permitted to be fully scooped. This allows all earned points to return to the unspent condition and all skills/abilities/stats/equipment to be lost. While assets and titles worth points can be similarly cashed in, it should be noted that doing so would destroy the character's connections with this things to make it like they or the character never existed to the other. Token may be used only once.
