Placing her head on the bed Angel sighed and closed her eyes, "Maybe I can go to sleep for a bit..."

Jace fell back onto the bed, allthough not sleeping. He carefulky watched Angel as she slowly drifted off to dreamland. With every breath she took, a strand of hair flew back and forth in her face. As Jace watched her, a smile appeared on his lips.

Before she completely fell asleep Angel remembered about the ball and got up again.


"Argghhh I haven't chosen the dress yet!" Turning to Jace Angel smiled slyly, "Jace... Could you help me choose?"

 

[offbeat]

Jace stared at her with wide eyes when she quickly rushed up from the bed.


"Wait what, you want me to help you choose?" He then said, raising an eyebrow.

 

[EternalMusic]

Nodding her head Angel ushered him into her room and opened her never ending closet of dresses, "I just can't seem to pick the right dress."


(I have to go somewhere I will be back in around 2 hours.)

 

[offbeat]

"You certainly have way too mutch to choose from" Jace said before taking a look around the closet. His eyes fell on a creamwhite dress hanging in the back of the room. Then his eyes got stuck on a purple one, and then a light blue one.


"God they're to many" he muttred.

 

[EternalMusic]

"I know right! I don't know where to start! Maybe we can choose a section or maybe a colour... I don't know!"


Quickly Angel went from one dress to another not sure what to choose.

 

[offbeat]

"Wait, you should wear light colours, it would fit you best. So remove all the darker clothes" Jace said and took a few dresses, all of them in the darker shades. He threw them on the bed outside the closet.

 

[EternalMusic]

"Okay well what else long sleeved or short?" Picking up a strapless pale purple dress Angel pressed it on her body, "Or how about strapless?"

 

[offbeat]

"Strapless." He said while imagining Angel in that dress, the thought about her caused him to blush slightly

Not noticing him blush this time, Angel quickly brought out several different dresses, "Which one choose your pick!"

 

[offbeat]

"Uh, that one" He said, pointing at a light purple dress with small stones as decoratives, his head still turned towards the window.

 

[EternalMusic]

Pressing the gown against her body Angel did a quick twirl, "Okie dokie! Your suit is waiting for you in your closet. Now go get change the ball starts in like two hours."


Then Angel retreated into the bathroom to get changed.

Jace nodded once as he turned towards his closet. He quickly changed pants and looked at them for a moment. While unbuttoning his shirt with one hand, he pulled out the white shirt from his closet. Jace sighed once before taking off his shirt an lazily putting on the other. He buttoned the shirt while walking away from the closet with his jacket in his hand.

Reaching behind her Angel couldn't get the last bit of the zipper up, clenching the front of her dress Angel quickly scouted over to Jace, "Jace I need help! I can't get it up," Angel cried out to Jace as she entered his room.

 

[offbeat]

Jace quickly turned towards the door with a surprised expression. He had still not completely buttoned his shirt and his hair was a comlete mess. Messier than usual.


"Here, turn around" He simply said while walking closer to help her with the zipper.

 

[EternalMusic]

"Thanks Jace," turning around Angel noticed the state he was in blushing she turned around, "Sorry didn't know you were still getting changed I am jut going to get my jelwerry on."

 

[offbeat]

"Don't worry about it" Jace said while buttoning the last buttons on his shirt. He didn't bother putting on his jacket just yet so instead he sat down on the couch.

 

[EternalMusic]

Trying to put her necklace on Angel frowned as she kept missing it, "Umm... Let's go... I will just get this on..."


Continuing her attempts Angel tried to put her necklace on.

 

[offbeat]

Jace walked up to her again, standing right behind her and lifted his hands towards her neck. He gently touched her hand as he took the necklace from her fingers.

 

[EternalMusic]

Standing still Angel felt Jace's hands brush against the back of her neck, "Sorry Jace."


After he finished Angel took a step away, her cheeks were slightly red but she looked up at Jace and smiled cheekily, "Ready to dance?"

 

[offbeat]

"What are you apologizing for?" Jace said while backing a few steps.


"And for the record, I'm not the dancing type." He continued as he put on his jacket with a silent sigh.

 

[EternalMusic]

Angel looked at him, "Well then you are going to be the quiet one at the very back silently staring at everyone else unless you want to talk to others?" Suddenly she stopped causing Jace to bump into her, "I can't believe I almost forgot!"


Closing her eyes Angel worked her magic on Jace sprouting some ear and a tail, "Now I see no mortal."


Smiling Angel walked back towards the ball room.

 

[offbeat]

Jace drew one hand through his messy hair before walking after Angel towards the ball room. He noticed her dress flowing with every step she took. 'She sure is beautiful' he thought for a second but quickly shrugged the thought off and continued to walk.

 

[EternalMusic]

Entering the ball room Melvin bowed at Angel and called out to the audience, "Her Majesty Queen Evangeline is here!"


All of the guests stopped their talking and bowed in unison, Angel smiled at the audience, "Please raise your heads. I hope that all of you enjoy your evening here. May this evening be magical!"


Suddenly the lights turned off and the crowd gasped, throwing what seemed like white fluff in the air Angel smiled as the small white fluffs floated around the room illuminating the room.


Soon Angel was engulfed with other rich people and she was swept up in the sea, smiling and nodding at each of the members of the conversation Angel continued to peak over at Jace to see how he was doing. Noticing that Melvin was near him Angel sighed with relief.
