"What is it?" He whispered as he leaned to the side, making sure she heard it.

Whispering back to him Angel smiled, "I am about to give you a quarter of my kingdom."

 

[offbeat]

"What the hell?" Jace said and stared at her with wide eyes.


"You're what?"

 

[EternalMusic]

Chuckling Angel made her way to where the queens seat in the ball room was, coughing loudly Angel smiled at her audience.


"Please welcome my friend Jace Collins! He owns half of our kingdom and has generously offered to give it back to the kingdom and the people."

Jace smiled a weak smile towards the people in the ball room. He had no idea what she was up to, but he decided to play along.

 

[EternalMusic]

"For this to happen the condition was that he was to be named one of duke's or lord's with his own land somewhere. We shall be giving him the old Cortier Mansion that has been left unattended for the past 100 years," whispers were going through the audience now, "By this he will also gain the same privileges as one of my suitors and will be considered as one."


Winking at Jace, Angel smiled and turned to face the audience once more, "I hope there will be no more unneeded whisperings about us."

Jace raised an eyebrow with a smirk and walked a little closer to angel.


"But you know, I can't accept the mansion thing for real" He then whispered.

Angel shrugged her shoulders, "Well it is yours now so you can do whatever you like with it."

 

[offbeat]

"No I thought it was only a lie, I'm not going to accept that."

 

[EternalMusic]

hopping down from the podium and walking over to the food table Angel smirked at Jace, "Well honestly you are going to have to take it or there are going to be people after your head. Not just anyone should be allowed to talk to her majesty?"


Grabbing some fruits Angel popped some in her mouth.
