I'm sorry, how does being the ultimate, exalted champion of all things martial (the Dawn caste) lead to a fear effect? Being intimidating is a presence effect normally, which puts it more in line for the Zenith. The OBVIOUS thing would be an anima effect that assisted combat directly, like...
Maybe I should wait for the new scavenger lands setting book. That'll be in June (maybe.) Until then he can just be the (missing) August Censor of the Direction of Wood.
I know that Fakharu (sp?) is the censor of the west, but have any of the others been mentioned or detailed?
I want to have an NPC do unspeakable things to the Eastern one.
Thanks in advance.
A screw up metal guy who is lording it over his lessers -
reminds me of Starscream. After the PC's beat him, have his boss show up and kill him in front of them. Also, name the starmetal caste Starscream.
I was getting paranoid there, for a while...
To everyone who proved I'm not being shunned a big thanks, and to Hatter, who answered my questions pretty well, thanks again.
I honestly don't know why no one's chimed in on this - even to say "I dunno." I was just curious, but now a player wants to make a Raksha PC for my game so these questions are slightly more significant to me.
Seriously, am I being shunned?
So I just ran my PC's on a thrilling Wyld Jaunt and finally got to use some of the madness from the Fair Folk book, but there were a couple of things I couldn't find or just made up that I'd like to hear people's opinions or page refs on -
Assuming they've been damaged by the creation-born...
Not so much a show, but the video's from the various Legacy of Kain/Sould Reaver games always get me in the mood to game. You can see them all pretty much on demand if you beat the last game.
First off, how can you post that you used RoSH on one of your player's and not even hint at why?
Second, if you have a large group, then he tags along until he gets killed. He'll never catch up, unless you decide to reward him for pissing a solar circle sorceror off that much.
If you solo...
Um, probably been addressed earlier, maybe on the old EC, but I'm not sure - Can you combo 2 MA charms from 2 diff MA trees if they otherwise meet combo criteria? I lean towards yes, but who knows?
I agree with everything you said about him being a super bureaucrat and manipulator. I agree that that should be his main power as an antagonist. But, you should note that his bureaucracy, the one he fiddles, manipulates and controls is the loom of fate, creation, the realm and heaven. To better...
Thanks Andrew, Starhawk, everyone.
The point of the post was, yes, that during a game, if I want to find something, I have to skim entire books, not just one book or one chapter.
It was in games of Divinity where it says, approximately, that She Who Lives in Her Name ( I think its her, the one who's the fires in crytals) broke 3 of her crystals against Malfeas as he closed around her and Creation now is what wasn't burned away by that. Coula been that there were more...
Okay, I know some people have just stopped buying exalted books, so you've dealt with this already. But I'm really, really sick, of White Wolf's method of organizing information. It was fun when I was just playing, but I ran Vampire for a year and Exalted for another year after that, and it's...
Well, if you want alien creatures, (and I'm leaving the sea life alone, as that seems well covered) how about creatures that don't exist to the five senses. Not invisible exactly, just nothing to see - Creatures that can only be perceived as ( because they are) fear, hatred, awe, surprise...
My PC's have all broke once or twice now, and are edging up on trying to justify their characters having suspicions of "something's odd in Solar-town". This doesn't really bother me, but I do try to make it very clear that, in my game at least, this isn't like frenzy - There is no predatory...
Oy Vey. I was just pointing out 2 ways that a weapon, literally or mechanically, could pierce a shield. I very, very much like the "no called shots" rule in exalted, and wouldn't ever allow them. So I wouldn't let a PC declare those kind of attacks, they are examples of the kinds of results PC's...
I didn't really mean that one would aim for the shield. Just that the shield bearer would put it in the way of attacks. If that happens, there's a chance of the wounds I mentioned. I only brought up the thing about vitals because I don't think that hitting someone in the arm is hitting them in a...
Unless you note that any weapon that can drive through armor can drive through a shield as well, sometimes right into the arm of the shield bearer. Or pinning his shield to his side painfully. I don't think the piercing rules state anything about vitals, just that you ignore half the armor's...
