My logic is comparison to the other shadow weapons. Aigis was pierce, Metis was crushing, and Labrys was technically slash but with a giant axe so two long katanas seemed like a logical solution. I also considered a special staff/spear.

Finding a FC has been agony so I kind a gave up on it, I'll finish the CS tomorrow hopefully Edit: Unless it'd be cool to use a more human looking FC and mention it looks like this but with the joins and mechanical parts like Aigis/Metis/Labrys has, if that's okay.
