i used to roleplay on quotev a year or two ago, but left around the time the site was shut down. now i'm looking to see if i still enjoy roleplaying! i do group roleplays, and my preferred genre is fantasy. i use she/her pronouns, and when i'm not rping, i like to write.

I've been role-playing for 8+ years now? Started on Minecraft and Roblox as a small child, moved to places like wattpad, quotev, and framecast (bonus points if you know that site), then went to Discord and in person with D&D! This is my first time actually using an official roleplay site, so I have a lot to learn!
I'm pretty flexible when it comes to genres, but I tend to prefer some sort of magical/supernatural/futuristic element SOMEWHERE involved. Magic schools, epic fantasy realms, underground labs, superheroes, mysterious haunted towns, aliens, 1920's with a twist, you name it. As long as the story is good, I'm in. I enjoy both fandom and original stuff, and I like big casts of complex characters with intertwining stories because I'm a freak who can't be satisfied with controlling just one oc . I'm studying creative writing, so apologies to anyone in advance who has to deal with me fussing over themes, character arcs, symbolism, etc. I see rp as both a hobby and a collaborative writing process (man I sound pretentious) so I'm a big fan of doing some minor plotting for scenes to set expectations and have a loose structure to go off of. The only thing I can't really get into are roleplays based solely on a ship, and while I love a good romance, I need a PLOT.
Outside of roleplay, unsurprisingly, I'm a nerd. I'm majoring in Creative Writing and minoring in Horticulture and Folklore. I draw, write, do theatre, play D&D, and I'm learning to swing dance so we'll see where that goes. I'm working on a webcomic! It's coming along at a snail's pace, but one day I swear. I love the Crane Wives, Yaelokre, and the Oh Hellos, as well as a ton of show tunes. My big fandoms are Gravity Falls, Hatchetfield, and Spiderverse.
I'm looking for new, like-minded people. Roleplay has always been a huge part of my life, and I want to reach out into the void and see if I can find some other people to heal from some really rough partners/groups I've had in the past. I'm a strong believer that roleplay is only fun if everyone feels heard and has a moment for their characters and ideas to shine, and recently, I've realized that some of the people around me can't give me that . I'm hoping to find some more mature and willing people to partake in such an awesome hobby with!
I have two lovely cats, they are my boys and every time I have to go back to college I miss them.

You all can call me Evie [ she/they ] and I've been roleplaying on different sites for about fifteen years now. I used to roleplay predominantly on quotev before they made some policy changes that made it no longer feasible, and tbh I've always been a little intimidated by RPNation, but I hope that I'll be able to make some connections with people and find some good roleplay partners !! One of the reasons I gravitated to RPNation was in hopes I might find people who are into older fandoms too, as I've always had a love for late 90s and early 2000s anime specifically. Aside from roleplay, one of my favorite hobbies has been learning how to code video games? I never thought that was something I was capable of doing, but recently I've really taken off in learning and I find it to be equal parts frustrating and rewarding lol.

Im UnholyCarpet but also go by Mike. I’m 33 and from the UK, and used to really be into roleplay in the past. It started on RP servers on online games such as WoW which was a huge part of my life for years and I had begun to dabble in text/forum RPs but eventually life gets in the way and hobbies drop off.

I’d really like to get back into it and I like to think I’m quite a creative person with a talent for imaginative writing and compelling characters. Would love to ease back into things and find some role players that dont mind someone getting back into the swing of things. I’ve generally favoured Fantasy and Sci-Fi settings but also love world building and dystopian worlds too. Very LGBT friendly and love being a part of people’s escapist writings and worlds.

I started roleplaying in 2014 and was super active up until a few years ago. I haven’t been writing very much lately (at least not for fun), so it may take me a bit of time to get back into the swing of things. I’ve been in a wide variety of roleplays - normal humans, magic humans, warrior cats, wolves, dogs, Harry Potter, horses, sci-fi, fantasy, dystopia, apocalyptic, etc…. I think I even remember joining an orca roleplay at one point.

I joined RpNation at the suggestion of two friends, but I’m definitely open to joining any roleplay, so long as I have time for it.

I used to roleplay a lot when I was younger with my friends where we would pass a flash drive around to add our parts but it has been a while lol. I like fantasy, mostly more of a vikings or medieval setting but most time periods are fine. I also really like magic or anything to do with the supernatural, monsters or cryptids. Outside of this I also love reading and playing video games, the two games I am playing the most right now are Remnant 2 and Stardew Valley. I decided to join RpNation because I have been craving a creative outlet for my writing but also wanting that social aspect or community setting.
