Oh, I wasn’t sure if I have to “reply” so that you guys are alerted right away or not. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been a part of online forums like this! I’ve really struggled with Reddit and hoping that this place will be more friendly to old farts like me. I’m thirty-one but I’m starting to think that’s on that “old” side of the internet according to all the teenagers I’ve met in Discord servers. Ha ha ha ha. I’m hoping to meet other adults who are interested in roleplaying!

Preferably, having roleplays established in fandoms would be best for me. I don’t have many original characters but am totally willing to develop any necessary character on the spot! I prefer to roleplay through Discord in a sort of “script” style that’s more of a back-and-forth instead of long posts that are long paragraphs with days between posts. I suppose I treat roleplay more like live-writing or even impromptu acting?

Anyways! My main hobbies are writing and perusing various anime and manga. Um… I’m bad at introductions so I’m not sure what else to say. Ha ha ha ha. Hopefully this’ll suffice!

my name is sappi or even jelly , feel free to call me either ! i'm a ambivert, but i really like to keep my peace and i don't really do group rps or the like, i prefer one x one. i love sleeping, reading, role playing , playing video games , cute shit , horror games , finding new music, ice , and most importantly JELLY FISH ! i am in the central time zone , so right now its just 9:51pm and i do work, so if you don’t get an immediate reply from me you know why as i work sometimes from 930-630/1030-715/900-500 it really varies. i am off on sundays and wednesday’s though. i’ve been roleplaying since i was 10 really, and i felt that my writing has improved since then, with a few spelling mistakes and grammar mistakes , but i’m human and if i notice it i will go back and fix it ! i’m a descriptive roleplay and i take word count serious as i type up to almost 2k words ! if i caught you attention, i will be making an ad soon when i figure this website out ! whoever reads this i hope you have a good morning/evening/afternoon/night.

I'm 23, go by feminine pronouns/they pronouns, and live in the est/gmt -5 timezone! As for my activity, I'm pretty busy, with other hobbies, work, and life in general. My posting is more like a Jackson Pollock painting than a neat little calendar. I'm also like a cat—I come and go depending on the energy my partner gives, but I promise I'll hit you back when I can. Chronic low energy is hard, so please DM me if it's been a second and I'll do my best to keep my act together.

WHAT I LIKE && WHAT I WANT RIGHT NOW;

Be respectful, thoughtful, and open-minded. I prioritize enthusiastic, interactive, partners with high engagement. Multi-media plotting and character development is heavily appreciated too! I'm down for almost anything from a modern drama to a grimdark fantasy adventure, as long as it's got some meat on its bones. I live for those deep dives into character minds, worlds, and the kind of plot twists that make you want to scream into a pillow. If you're into art, music, etc. we're definitely on the same page.

I have a preference for MxF ships, with me playing F, but this is more gateway courtesy. Depending on our chemistry, I can play all kinds of characters including canons!

So, what do I want right now? I want a roleplay that's got me feeling all the feels, a tight plot, and characters I could muse about for days! I'm currently working on a little passion project of mine that's been dormant since 2023 and recently got some fresh, updated work. I really want to push it through this time, and it's been cooking for nearly two months now!

ROLEPLAY && CHARACTERS;

Preferred Genres: Modern, Drama/Intrigue, Action, Grimdark/Grit, Fantasy, Romance, Angst, Sandbox etc.

I've got a wide array of characters, mostly women, with their own quirks and stories. I also like making new ones specific to a storyline!

When it comes to roleplay, I'm okay with some cliches, but I crave the grit, the angst, the heart-wrenching moments that make you feel alive! My writing is more cinematic than straightforward because of this. I love atmosphere, vivid descriptions, sensory, and introspection.

I limit myself to around 600-600 per post, but sometimes I go overboard. I LOVE a good lore, and once I'm hooked, I'm hooked. Who's counting when the story's good?

You wanna throw in drama, romance, sandbox adventure? I'm down! But I'm not too into 'xyz' without a storyline, give me context and effort, or I'm not interested. For boundaries, please don't expect me to come up with enough content for the two of us, it'll be a quiet week for you until I eventually break it off. I want to build worlds with you, not for you; I don't always feel like taking the lead. I want open communication and engagement when it comes to expectations, intentions, or reactions. If you really want to write with me, please don't come with mismatched enthusiasm. I hate railroading and ignoring continuity, breaking the tone and themes beyond reason, excessive ooc-focus, and above all, creative one-sidedness.

Lastly, if the vibe isn't right, or you're just not feeling it anymore, hit me with a heads-up. I don't appreciate ghosting and will reciprocate.

I'm Shep, and I'm the biggest Mass Effect nerd known to mankind. Space is kinda my jam, and I love anything space related role-play wise (doesn't have to be Mass Effect related). I also enjoy apocalyptic-based role-play (ex. Fallout games or just apocalypse in general.). I prefer human RP and have been RPing since 2007!

I'm an adult female and I am married and not interested in creating relationships (aside from friendship) with any users outside of OC's. I'm just here to expand my creativity, get my brain juices flowing, and having fun doing so. I work full time and am a mom to a very demanding toddler so my replies will not be instant, but I'm itching for someone to write with that will give me something at least once or twice a day to reply to.

I do NOT role-play with minors! If you are under the age of 18 do NOT message me asking for RP. I'm an adult and it makes me feel uncomfortable writing with younger individuals. This has nothing to do with the content of the roleplay and everything to do with what I'm comfortable with. Thanks!

I've been roleplaying for about 10 years now.

I love to immerse myself in the stories, characters and plots. I love edgy, troubled characters, I love conflicts and I love character progression and development when two characters get to know each other better and grow closer. I love epic friendships and epic enmity! I love drama!
I like to write long and elaborate posts and I appreciate if my rpg-partner does the same. I feel more comfortable playing male characters. But I have some female characters, too.

Fandoms I've been roleplaying in a lot are Sherlock BBC, original Sherlock Holmes, and Star Trek.
Genres I like are Whodunnits, Crime Solving, Sci-Fi, Medieval, Victorian Era London (but am open to other genres, too. Just ask me :) )

I'm open to roleplay in the fandoms mentioned above, but also creating stories detached from fandoms!

Currently into JJK , Kaiju No. 8 to be precise though I have many muses under my belt to choose from! I normally rp darker themes and so not have any triggers. I'm 25+. I'm a literate rper. I'm not very good at, you know, words that aren't stories. Let us go down the list of things from the original post and lay my cards out.

  • Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying:
    • I'm somewhere in my 30s, I think, and I've been doing words like this since I was about 12. So however long that is.
    • I've done every kind of RP you can conceive of; chat RP, mmo RP, tabletop, and what have you. But my favorite sort is long form forum RP. It provides the most freedom while also allowing participants to be in-depth and well thought out.
  • What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
    • I'm most interested in fantasy settings. Modern and futuristic styles have their appeals, but fantasy is the most comfortable space for me.
    • I enjoy most types of premise, but my favorites are political, redemption arcs, dark RP, and romance. Preferably all of those in one story.
  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
    • Oh I don't know. Gardening. That's a human hobby.
  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
    • I'm full of ideas and short on people to share them with. I wish to manipulate an audience with my indulgent lies.
  • Write about your pet (if you have one).
    • I am owned by a cat named Dante. He is an abusive master but I serve him loyally.

Greetings all! I've Done online roleplay on and off since I was fourteen which was a VERY long time ago for me. Primarily OC's but a few fandom canon characters here and there.
It's been around six years since I last rp'd and felt like it was a good time to tentatively dip my toes back into this world. I've been quietly world building since 2020 and am hoping to start a group rp. If you like vampires, demons, or any other supernatural beings hmu.

I am very new to RPNation, this site was suggested to me by a friend. I've been roleplaying for years but only for about a year now I've been looking to improve my vocabulary and writing skills. I like descriptiveness and literacy, my OCs have been existing with me for a few years now. I love worldbuilding and meeting new people through roleplay, I love keeping IRP bounds. I am also an artist and love all kinds of things. As for my OCs, all of them are fairly unique and I can't really summarize them all - they are all a little thing of their own, but I am always looking for altering them and improving them, since they are not exactly finished neither fully fleshed out. I hope I get to find some friends here, thanks for reading!

I usually rp with OCs and I always do romance with slice of life. depending on the ocs there can also be other requirements. i don't roleplay with people who multiship. the only fandom i rp with is creepypasta.

Hiii! I am Noni~ I use she/they pronouns. I used to Roleplay on Quotev but found that its like shutting the Roleplay groups down T-T So I came here.

I am 21 and I usually like to Roleplay OC x Canon and occasionally OC x OC but all within a fandom’s storyline and so forth. I also only double up and don’t do Roleplay groups. I will put what I roleplay down below (which is mainly anime). I hope to find some new roleplay partners here !!
