Hello everyone, my name is Adira. I've been roleplaying for many years and have a monumental passion for it. I'm very sentimental, and nearly every character I've ever made has stayed with me, reborn and written anew in different roleplay forum settings growing as I learn more and more about who they are. I'm currently an admin on a rp site with my best friend Aine, called Panacea Academy. I've always preferred the ease of forum rp just because you have everything safely stored in one place and it's much better to organize, plus I find story sharing motivating & it feeds my joy of stalking others content, lol! Currently I have a soulmate rp on there, and a tragic coming of age story with my second character. Hmm what else, oh Discord is the bane of my existence, lol. I find its so easy to spend a lifetime in there and not make any progress with writing. Oofie.
I love reading other people's stories and seeing their characters grow, learning secrets about them, every little detail. I don't have a genre of rp I like because I welcome everything. I like setting my characters into the world and letting them run the show. They are like their own people. I like when things are as free and natural as possible, even if your character is hard to get along with, that's fine. I find no struggle in taking time to have our characters get to know each other because writing could never be boring to me. ♥
Oh, actually, I guess my dislike genre would be panfandoms since I prefer original self created characters rather than taking someone else's creations and playing them. I think my main reason for joining here is finding others with a similar passion of mine to match RPing, I've searched for years but only ever found one other like me. I actually struggle joining other people's sites too just because I always get nervous about doing something wrong or overlooking something, it can be very stressful, but you can't discover new rp buddies without being brave and trying new things.

hello all, my name is shelby but you can call me bebe for short. i am a 24 year old woman (she/her pronouns) who has been roleplaying for just over ten years now since i first got started over on quotev in '14. though i originally started off as a strict group roleplayer and creator in recent years i have kind of branched off and exclusively started doing one x ones with the very rare exception here and there if i happen to be particularly inspired to make a group ⸺ if you couldn't guess by now i am one of many quotev refugees who had the misfortune of getting a lil' bit misplaced in june. originally i moved over to iwakuroleplay but i haven't had much luck there in finding the kinds of roleplays i'm personally interested in so decided to try my luck here. and what kinds of roleplays are those you may ask? i am a descriptive roleplayer with a passion for worldbuilding, adventure, conflict, and in-depth plots. while i am but a simple woman who can and will throw herself down at the feet of a pretty lady and beg for a cute romance plot i absolutely need something to be going on in the story to stay mentally engaged with it. whether it be high-fantasy adventures or zombie apocalypses, victorian vampire huntings, heroes vs. villains, or space adventures ⸺ as long as two people are fighting to survive while maybe occasionally sharing an angsty lil' kiss in the rain i am fucking here for it. a weird! roleplay quirk i have, however, is the fact that despite being an afab woman myself i really only play male characters ⸺ back in the yee' old days of quotev trying to find wlw roleplays was damn near impossible so little queer me decided to make do and start making male characters and well... 10 years later and its just become kind of my thing. i enjoy making complex male characters who swoon over pretty ladies. the end.
anyhoo... hmm, some things about me. well i have had a weirdly diverse range of occupations for someone my age ⸺ i consider myself to be a very work-centric and money-minded individual so my job will always comes before anything else which i feel is especially important to mention as it may affect my roleplay availability due to working long hours and scheduling appointments on my days off. not to mention all my day-to-day chores around my apartment, personal whatevers that pull me away from my computer, and of course my other hobbies like playing video games, reading, writing my book, and playing with my cat. it does kind of make me a slow responder as far as roleplaying goes though rest assured if i'm passionate about a plot i will make time for it! and yes, i do have a cat. i adopted him from a shelter a few months ago and he's a moody little bastard named scuba who is in constant need of attention. or food. he plays fetch, hates the broom, and would probably murder me if i ever had the audacity to eat ham without giving him a piece. he really likes ham.

Hello! I'm new to this place, but I've been roleplaying on and off since the days where proboard rp sites ran rampant! I would say maybe.. idk.. 10 years now? wow! I usually match lengths, but I also like writing paragraphs upon paragraphs lol (it definitely helps when I have more than one character under my control. I'm a big fan of psychological horror fandoms (Another being a good one, but obviously there are other more niche ones too) but I also like fantasy in general like Harry Potter or Doctor Who. Outside of roleplay, I enjoy knitting, and I'm currently working on a blanket! I'm one ball of yarn down.. so many still to go. Obviously, I also enjoy reading, and writing fanfics! Some of my ships are a bit chaotic and I'm really only writing for myself, but I have some more mainstream ships too.
I decided to join RpNation as it seemed like a good place to find people to rp with. I usually rp through gmail, but I'm in the process of making a discord so I can ooc chat too. I suppose there's no crime roleplaying here in the boards too, but I know some people like the privacy of gmail/dms.

I decided to join this site because I prefer indepth, longer-term one on one roleplays, with semiliterate to literate roleplayers. I have a pet axolotl named Thomas, she was actually misgendered so we ended up keeping her name Thomas because I didn't realize until three or four years later that she is female.

hi my name is st☆rgirl! i've been roleplaying since i was 13 in middle school! i've generally roleplayed everywhere; from roblox, to skype, to wattpad, to discord, quotev, anywhere! i literally have loved to roleplay my entire life, even if i take a small break, i always found a way back! my favorite genre of roleplay would have to be thriller or angst (which is probably just dark drama, but you guys get the gist), and i like to roleplay in a modern or a futuristic setting, but i'm always down to something in a renaissance or even a mythological setting! i'm down to do almost any and every roleplay, roleplay as any gender (but i mostly roleplay as a woman), and i like to roleplay any genre. i joined rpnation to try something new! i've roleplayed in multiple communities, and i wanted to try this community out! outside of rpnation, i'm a psychology major studying to become a forensic psychologist and what i like to do is; listen to music, go shopping, i like to write when i don't have writer's block, and sometimes i like to play roblox! don't hesitate to follow me or roleplay with me, and you can add me on discord for a roleplay as well! ✮ツ

I've been roleplaying off and on for a good 7 or so years (that makes me feel REALLY old) but my old group slowly went silent and life got too busy for me to chase after the joys of world-building and storytelling; but now I'm back!

Roleplay Interests
- I prefer original content roleplays (no shame to fandoms, I just don't consume much media these days)
- I prefer group settings over 1x1
- I'm not particular about content, it can be a simple slice of life or a gritty 'your character might die' apocalypse setting; as long as I get to tell my character's story!
- I prefer set storylines, however I'm not opposed to free-floating roleplays with no set directions

- Historical Fantasy
- Warrior cats (love me some edgy cat battles)

i do mainly canonxcanon.. sometimes ocxcanon
and i dont do ocxoc i SUCK at it unless it's more of a side ship. (like double ups.)
I do alot of fandoms (not marvel or dc, or things of the such. not jnto it) so ask if im into something! i dont know a ton of anime but ive watched like 20,(some are more known then others) but yeah! :3 hehe .
huge fan of EXPERiMENTAL by hideousblob (atleast that was their user on deviantart. old invader zim fangame!)
mario the music box (corpsesyndrome on alot of platforms.)
sonic exe spirits of hell (i forget the creator)
and alot of canon media :3 i love horror but hardly rp it.
