Hihi! I go by the letter, 'M'. Online and offline as a sort of nickname. I've been roleplaying for a while, although not specifically on this website. I do a bunch of story writing, and I'm super interested in character design, music, nature and space. :alien: I'm really just looking for a casual and original roleplay. I have been roleplaying in some form or another, although mostly in playing TTRPGs, for about 13-15 years now (I can't 100% remember when I started). I am mostly a DM in TTRPGs, so I kind of want to use this forum to be more of a player than solely DM.
I'm mostly interested in Fantasy (more low than high fantasy), and Steampunk (or anything with a "Victorian" flair), although if the setting is interesting, I can be excited just about any genre. While it's not totally out of the question, I'm not that into Fandom RPGs and am more interested in building a new, homebrew world together.
I'm studying to become a History and English teacher, but English is not my first language.
I have one dog, three mice and three ferrets together with my boyfriend :-)

I hope to RP with one or more of you soon :-)

Hey there!! Hi!!

I'd love to roleplay with you, I love and original story and some of my interests outside of fandoms are history (specifically the American Revolution or Victorian era), space although I know little about it, and ghost hunting (like BuzzFeed unsolved or something) specifically when one of the characters believes in a ghost and the other doesn't and they're trying to prove ghost, demons, or aliens exist while the other is a skeptic!! Id love to do some kind of roleplay with you if you're interested of course!!

i used to rp on forums alot and was starting to miss how nice forums were for rp ads, general community, and everything. i've been rping on/off for like a decade i think now. groups tend to be my preference and doing character explorations in the story

other than rp, i draw alot. stuff like fairly complex pixel art mainly. as for being here, best i could tell rpNation was one of the most active forum places these days. its really nice to see they're still around ^^

Hi everyone! I'm Kris, 23 and have been in the writting scene for roughly about 11 years now.

Quotev was the og spot for me but since the site has basically made itself unusable at this point, I've been struggling with trying to find rp partners. Hopefully this one will help out.

Some things about my personal preference:
☆ Strictly Fandom rps
☆ Strictly descriptive
☆ Long term preferred
☆ prefer having a storyline in mind but okay with freeplay so long as we can keep things interesting

☆double ups (oc/Cc)
☆ can write anywhere between a paragraph per character to basically a novel. Just depends on the scene.

☆ Prefer using discord as it's easiest for me to organize (to differentiate between rp and oorp talks) and I'm more familiar with it

Outside if that, we can go more in depth about that sorta thing in DMs or something.

Looking forward to meeting new faces and making new stories 🫡

You know something? I love ghosts! Love the stories, love everything about them. Have you seen Sam and Colby? I love their channel. And I adore history as well! I'm very much a 1930s' enthusiast. I love the fashion (specifically the men's fashion) and really all there is to what life was like back then. I would absolutely LOVE to roleplay with you. I'm ok with most genres of roleplays!
 
Heyy. I've been checking on the site every now and then and finally got the confidence boost to join haha. My roleplay taste varies, but I do tend to write semi-lit to novella length replies and generally remain open to most ideas. Can't wait to write with everyone!

-I am super duper obsessed with names. Literally my favourite part of creating characters. The reason why I didn't put a specific name I wanted to be known as is because I can't pick one TT
-I am fluent in Mandarin and English, and can read and write Korean and somewhat understand Japanese.
-I'm a writer, and most of my characters in my books are inspired from my RPs with others!
-I'm a female, and most of my characters are also females.
-I'm quite musically inclined, and have been making music (like playing the piano and writing songs) since I was 3.
-I have a fascination with twins lol. Especially identical twins.

Okay wow!! That makes me so happy!! And yes I've heard of Sam and Colby I absolutely adore them!! I would also recommend watching BuzzFeed unsolved!! Hello everyone, my name is Adira. I've been roleplaying for many years and have a monumental passion for it. I'm very sentimental, and nearly every character I've ever made has stayed with me, reborn and written anew in different roleplay forum settings growing as I learn more and more about who they are. I'm currently an admin on a rp site with my best friend Aine, called Panacea Academy. I've always preferred the ease of forum rp just because you have everything safely stored in one place and it's much better to organize, plus I find story sharing motivating & it feeds my joy of stalking others content, lol! Currently I have a soulmate rp on there, and a tragic coming of age story with my second character. Hmm what else, oh Discord is the bane of my existence, lol. I find its so easy to spend a lifetime in there and not make any progress with writing. Oofie.

I love reading other people's stories and seeing their characters grow, learning secrets about them, every little detail. I don't have a genre of rp I like because I welcome everything. I like setting my characters into the world and letting them run the show. They are like their own people. I like when things are as free and natural as possible, even if your character is hard to get along with, that's fine. I find no struggle in taking time to have our characters get to know each other because writing could never be boring to me. ♥

Oh, actually, I guess my dislike genre would be panfandoms since I prefer original self created characters rather than taking someone else's creations and playing them. I think my main reason for joining here is finding others with a similar passion of mine to match RPing, I've searched for years but only ever found one other like me. I actually struggle joining other people's sites too just because I always get nervous about doing something wrong or overlooking something, it can be very stressful, but you can't discover new rp buddies without being brave and trying new things.

hello all, my name is shelby but you can call me bebe for short. i am a 24 year old woman (she/her pronouns) who has been roleplaying for just over ten years now since i first got started over on quotev in '14. though i originally started off as a strict group roleplayer and creator in recent years i have kind of branched off and exclusively started doing one x ones with the very rare exception here and there if i happen to be particularly inspired to make a group ⸺ if you couldn't guess by now i am one of many quotev refugees who had the misfortune of getting a lil' bit misplaced in june. originally i moved over to iwakuroleplay but i haven't had much luck there in finding the kinds of roleplays i'm personally interested in so decided to try my luck here. and what kinds of roleplays are those you may ask? i am a descriptive roleplayer with a passion for worldbuilding, adventure, conflict, and in-depth plots. while i am but a simple woman who can and will throw herself down at the feet of a pretty lady and beg for a cute romance plot i absolutely need something to be going on in the story to stay mentally engaged with it. whether it be high-fantasy adventures or zombie apocalypses, victorian vampire huntings, heroes vs. villains, or space adventures ⸺ as long as two people are fighting to survive while maybe occasionally sharing an angsty lil' kiss in the rain i am fucking here for it. a weird! roleplay quirk i have, however, is the fact that despite being an afab woman myself i really only play male characters ⸺ back in the yee' old days of quotev trying to find wlw roleplays was damn near impossible so little queer me decided to make do and start making male characters and well... 10 years later and its just become kind of my thing. i enjoy making complex male characters who swoon over pretty ladies. the end.

anyhoo... hmm, some things about me. well i have had a weirdly diverse range of occupations for someone my age ⸺ i consider myself to be a very work-centric and money-minded individual so my job will always comes before anything else which i feel is especially important to mention as it may affect my roleplay availability due to working long hours and scheduling appointments on my days off. not to mention all my day-to-day chores around my apartment, personal whatevers that pull me away from my computer, and of course my other hobbies like playing video games, reading, writing my book, and playing with my cat. it does kind of make me a slow responder as far as roleplaying goes though rest assured if i'm passionate about a plot i will make time for it! and yes, i do have a cat. i adopted him from a shelter a few months ago and he's a moody little bastard named scuba who is in constant need of attention. or food. he plays fetch, hates the broom, and would probably murder me if i ever had the audacity to eat ham without giving him a piece. he really likes ham.

blah blah blah, yada yada yada... that's really all i can think about for now! i know this is a bit of a long-winded introduction but it's mostly just due to the fact that i'm neurospicey and never learned when an appropriate time to shutup was but now seems a good a time as ever? i look forward to getting to know the community and maybe find some roleplays that suit my interest ⸺ ta' for now!
