Hello, I am a life long role player. From stage as a little kid, to tabletop through my teens and adulthood, this is my first foray into forum based RP.

I was immersed in theater throughout my teens and twenties, and cut my tabletop teeth on DND 3.X.

My most beloved universes are Forgotten Realms and Harry Potter.

I love a great many worlds, though. Vampires and Lycanthropes, Holy Lions and Alien Witches. Man vs Church and Church vs Demon. While I have also found joy in modern and varied future settings, my true love lay with magic.

  • Or for something silly, two truths and a lie.
You can use those prompts or just introduce yourself as you wish to the community.

Hello, hello! I'm Salt, a relatively experienced role-player, getting my start on Amino like others I've seen here, and moving to Discord servers and channels with friends after my Amino leave. I've hopped around from fandom to fandom, my skills of writing getting somewhat better each time.

I like to read, mainly fantasy, fantasy romance and historical fiction but I dabble in every genre. I also play some video games, currently playing Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. I have two cats and a dog, all of which I adore.

Hey there, rpn! it's suggested to make an introduction post and who am I to disagree lol well, I'm in my late twenties and am also a full-time student so naturally I don't have hobbies (': yet, here I am trying to have one! I've been rping probably half my life so I have plenty of experience, tho still count myself in or around the sort of "semi-lit" category. i love all sorts of genres, horror being a big favourite as well as just about anything in a recent history setting. I like to play games occasionally, mainly on switch and I also love horror and classic thriller films (as the name suggests, hitchcock films are some of my favourites!) Also an occasional/very casual comic book reader, batman being a favourite!
 
Hello its been years since I've last been on this site but I quickly rediscoverd it. I've been into roleplaying for a few years now. I mostly write up to a Paragraph but I'm trying to find ways to improve my RPing skills so I can eventually write multipara +. Here are the fandoms I mainly RP in. RWBY, Kingdom Hearts, Fairy Tail, and Genshin Impact. I can even do crossover RP's. My main genres I RP in are mainly action adventure fantasy romance (Most of my characters I RP are bi). I am also a huge anime/manga fan one anime I can't live without is Fairy Tail. I am a nerd for films and shows RWBY also being a big part of my life. I'm just starting to get into TTRPG My first is actually still going on my group and I are playing Pathfinder 2E though I would like to start playing others like DnD, Avatar legends, Cyberpunk Red etc. Oh yeah one of my favorite games now is Cyberpunk second is probably VRchat. My favorite video game series though is Kingdom Hearts. And my favorite film series are Harry Potter, Star Wars, Marvel films (Even the bad ones) and the avatar films. Buuut yeah not gonna go on long but I hope I can meet some people. Oh and the person who did my characters sprites were done by a friend on Twitter.

I was very active with roleplaying as a teen, but I ended up falling out of it later on outside of more casual RPs with a few friends, so I decided to go ahead and give it another go! I'm probably going to be pretty rusty with more formal forum RPs, but I'm excited to try them out again! I mostly did RPs based on video games or shows, but I also enjoy fantasy and sci-fi settings.

For non-RP/writing interests, I love video games and film. I'm a huge horror fan, especially when it comes to movies! I love a ton of the big horror classics (Scream, Evil Dead, and A Nightmare on Elm Street being my favorites), but I also really enjoy the weird ones, too. For video games, JRPGs are my favorites. Xenoblade, The World Ends With You, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and Pokemon are my favorites. I'm looking forward to getting to know some people here and joining in some fun RPs!

Hi, I'm Joey. Similar story to a lot of people here really - used to roleplay a lot as a teen, used this site a bit back then, have sort of fallen off since but looking to get back into it!

(Technically, that isn't strictly true - I mostly swapped out online rp for ttrpgs and larp. But all my dnd and larp groups meet really infrequently now and I need to Pretend To Be Some Kind Of Guy urgently or I'll go mad.)
 
Hello! I'm Sycamore. I'm agender (they/them) and a fairly prolific roleplayers! I've been at this pretty consistently for about nine years! I prefer paragraph-style, third-person writing, and depending on how excited I am, my posts can easily dip into novella territory (oops).

I love writing (of course!), art, and gaming! My biggest obsessions are Baldur's Gate 3 and My Time at Sandrock! Especially the latter right now- it's so hard to find MTaS roleplay... It's actually why I made an account here: to continue my desperate search for silly little post post-apocalypse cowboys!

Real life can often get in the way of my writing, from Pain to Executive Dysfunction to Work, so if I suddenly disappear just know I'll be back... Eventually! I'm forgetful, to top it off, so feel free to bump our messages to remind me! I mainly use CheRP for roleplay and switching sites can be a bit of a mental effort for me, lol.

Anyway, I'm happy to be here!!
 
Howdy howdy! I am toddly. I'm an adult female in the pacific time zone. I've been roleplaying for about 10 years now on old forums, and was in the hunt for an active site! My interests include: medieval/historical/royalty, apocalyptic/dystopian, gods & goddesses/mythology, fantasy/supernatural, wild west, and romance slice of life (enemies to lovers, best friends to lovers, holiday romcom, etc).

I am (obviously) new to the site. I came from Dreamwidth and wanted to find an alternative. I like to do panfandom/Jamjar RP in games that have their own setting and the characters end up there. From my research it looks like some of that is going on here?

Also if anyone has information on other RP sites, feel free to let me know.

In any case advice, a mentor, and other things on how to get started would be much appreciated.

So you want to know how I got started in rp? This is a very cute story and I enjoy telling it.

Before we even knew what rp was, me and my best friend at around 9 years old or so, used to pretend we were our favorite characters in a kind of LARP thing. We called it "wild fantasy" lol. (My first character was Princess Zelda).

Then I had to move away.

BUT! we started writing letters (snail mail!l to each other as the characters as if we were interacting with other characters from the canon (had no idea what this was either) and what we were doing day to day. We would also send pictures we drew and stuff.

We visited each other, obviously, but this is how we mostly did it.

Ok, gonna show my age here...

Fast forward to when our families got computers (my family was pretty poor so we didn't get one until a bit later) and we both discovered the new world of AOL chat rooms! We also discovered we could have 5 or so emails.

Anyway, from there we went to AIM, then made this interactive world where there were 8 of us friends and we would write stories of things that happened to each other's character (but we wrote for each other in them with established character looks/personalities/etc.) It was all in this overreaching plot with our own world (like a lot of today's games.)

We eventually fell out of it but later got into D&D. I had some friends from FFXIV introduce me to DW a couple years ago.

As for current hyperfixations, Drakenierverse, Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy XVI, Tales of series, and I'm tired and sick so can't think of more.

I have 3 cats, one is a ragdoll named Haruki, another is a tortie, named Serenity (who is the least serene cat you'll ever meet) and Squish, who is a DLH but has Turkish Van markings.

I'm sorry for the novel! I look forward to meeting you all!
 
Hey, I've been on this website before but I ended up ghosting and being way too inactive for months to a year at a time. I want to be better than that so I thought I'd have a fresh start.

I've been roleplaying on and off for around 7 years, and I want to take writing more seriously and I want to break my ghosting habits so here's to trying this website out again!
