well then, its been a long, long while huh?

you might (sort of maybe not) remember me as bandtaku, but i changed it to thorsayingyeet, so that makes me semi-new

i joined rpnation way back in 2018 (when i was 18, kek) but ive had around 12 years of experience roleplaying
i used to be very big on zombie and mythical roleplays, but now im more on the superhero (i LOVE marvel), and to a lesser extent, slice of life roleplays

i mainly rp on discord, but if you ever wanna do a one on one here, feel free to hit me up

i usually work 5 days a week but ill do my best to respond n all that

I have been roleplaying for a few years! I like fandom rps, but I'd also be down for a DND type rp! Outside of rps I like to write poetry and draw. I decided to join here because my rps are getting low and I am bored lol. I had a dog names Alanah, a pitbull that passed away on December 10th. Two truths and a lie is; I like to play guitar, my favorite anime is A3!, and I have flew a helicopter before

Hello all! I have been writing/threading/roleplaying for 20 years. I can write anything and enjoy all dynamics of roleplay as long as it is interesting and makes sense.

In regards to settings, I tend to lean towards modern and period settings; Medieval, Victorian, Wild West and things like that. As far as characters go, I play female only (I don't mind playing a male, but for now, would prefer playing a female only). My characters are generally human, I have played some supernatural, however, I would like a more freestyle approach to it online just because I have done system so long that I want to branch out and just not have to work about system guidelines, rules, etc.

My replies tend to be a bit long... I can (will) write paragraphs and tend to challenge myself when there is a word counter involved (I am a weirdo like that). The thing to know about is that I like detail and tend to expect the same out of my partner. I am not requiring a novel, however, I do not like and will not respond to any one-liners, something that makes 0 sense, or has next to no detail. Here is the update: I need posts that have details, I like having things to work with and like putting out good quality posts, I expect the same.

My writing schedule right now, can be daily, however, that may change as I have a life outside of writing (as we all do), however, I will maintain contact and let the other party know if something comes up or happens.

I do not ghost, if I am not feeling it, I will let you know and I expect the same - Respect is respect no matter how you look at it. I also have Discord - If we exchange information and start threading, if something comes up - I will generally message you and let you know.

When it comes to gore and violence, I can work with it, but it is not something I want a roleplay based on, which brings me to character death. If it a npc and it makes sense then of course... Casualty for the sake of the game, but when it comes to main characters, let's talk about it because a). I have put some work into my characters in coming up with them and you have done the same, b). Are we ending the roleplay, and c). Does it make sense to do it?


Fandoms, I have done them, but it is not something I generally go for simply because I like creating my own stuff.

Settings and pairings, I generally can come up with something on the fly or through conversation with my partner - I do like their input and expect them to allow me some input. If you come to me talking about how my character needs to be done and not compromising, we probably are not going to be a good fit and I will let you know that. Please understand, this is not make or break for me. I enjoy writing, it is a hobby, nothing more and nothing less. Right now, I have the time and want to get back into it so I am, I do not need or want anyone telling me what to play and how to play it.

I generally try to be pretty open-minded and easy flowing. The one thing I do ask is when it comes to character pics, please NO anime or cartoon art. I have my reasons and I just... No... If you ever need help finding face claims, let me know, I do not mind helping.

A fog suddenly rolls in, surrounding your ankles and quickly rising to waist height thickening with the passing seconds. You can hear a faint hissing sound, but are confused to see a small shadowy figure of a woman stepping out from the dense fog. You can't make out her features yet, but as she continues to walk forward you watch in trepidation. As she is nearly visible the woman trips on an unseen object. "Ouch, who put this here?! Hello?" she shouts out waving fog away *cough cough* The object begins sputtering and powers down, you can now see that it's a fog machine. Someone must have left it out from the last party. As the fog clears it's easier to see the woman from the fog.
She looks out at the group with deep blue eyes that sparkle behind wavy blonde hair. She shifts uneasily under everyone's gaze and waves shortly
"Hello everyone, s-sorry about the fog machine, I didn't notice it there. This is such a crowded place, oh, not that that is a bad thing, I'm actually super excited to see so many like-minded souls."
"oh yeah! my name." She curtsies "You may call me Mercy." and flashes a friendly smile.

Greetings & salutations, I go by the name of 𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐒, I am a twenty-year-old goth writer and artist located in Europe (Romania), I've always had a passion for expressing myself through the music I listen to, the stories I write and the characters I draw. I'm excited to bring forth my portrayals of different characters that I find interesting to write as. I am an advanced descriptive novella writer, so illiterate roleplays are out of my list.

also my experience is mostly discord, some messenger, both group and 1on1 and i prefer 1on1, i've been rping about four years
within roleplay i do mostly oc, all other ones i've done haven't rlly lasted so i generally prefer oc rps
outside of rping i love videogames,comics,makeup,fashion/aesthetics,animals,horsebackriding,stuff like that :3
i decided to join to have an alternative method to discord and bc i saw it recommended on r/roleplay on reddit!
i have a dog named groot, he's a rottweiler-bullmastiff and my absolute best frined in the whole world lol
 
hi!!!!!! my names ted and i just joined this place!! my pronouns are he/him. ive had some experience with roleplaying, but that was AGES ago when i was a kid roleplaying as my op characters on online games lol. i have been working on my writing skills in the past years (like...8 years??) and i really want to get back into roleplaying so i thought this place would be a good place to start! (i should note i am a slow writer but i try my best to get things done!)

when it comes to roleplays, i absolutely LOVE crossover roleplays and/or just going on a fun adventure! outside of roleplaying, i really love video games, web coding, drawing, writing stories, animation and comics, and crafting stuff!!

not really sure how to sign this off.....hopefully i post here a lot :D

My interests are in Dystopian Literature, Nation and Worldbuilding with my hobbies being reading and walking (I seriously spend most of my free time either walking or reading). By the way, you may call me Mr. Rex, that shall be my internet alias here.
 
Hello, I'm Whimsical Fox, though you're welcome to just call me Whimsy if you would like! I'm an experienced roleplayer with over ten years of experience (I am excluding some of the hiatus years I've been forced to take.) and I tend to enjoy a very wide variety of stories. As far as my real life things, I'll say that I'm a married twenty-seven year old with a supportive partner, four dogs, a cat, and three rats.

I look forward to enjoying my time here and getting back into role-playing!
 
Hey, I go by Boo or whatever else you'd like to call me. I have literally no idea what I'm doing as I have never really roleplayed seriously before. I spent about a year on an app called ChatGum (I think) before it kinda died a few years ago. I do like writing but idk how well I will do with other people thanks to some social anxiety. But yk, I'll just try my best! :)
