Hey, my name is Christian, I roleplayed for years on gaia, I can't play female characters nor straight characters to save my soul. I like most genres.. I just googled roleplay forum sites on Google trying to find people to roleplay with so hopefully I'll fit in here and have done fun with you all.

I'm 23, enby (nonbinary), go by they/them pronouns, and have about 9 years of roleplay experience. Still remember the very start of it all, the cursed creepypasta and Sonic the Hedgehog roleplays from when I was 14. The internet was wildin back then lemme tell you XD

I work as a manicurist, which essentially means I do people's nails for a living. I'm currently aiming for a fashion degree in college as well.

I'm quite fond of fandom roleplays but I'm also down to do original plots if they're good enough. I have a TON of ocs, around 54 the last time I checked? And I'm still creating more. By the way if you ever want good OC templates check out Tumblr! Some people post GORGEOUS google docs oc templates. Literally amazing, the people who make them are so talented.
I consider myself within a range of literacy? I can easily go from 2-3 normal sized paragraphs to writing whole novels, it really just depends on my partner. I also really like to roleplay with people who are brand new to roleplaying and help them find out what they like in roleplays. Like it's so sweet to know that I was someone's first roleplay partner and that I sent them off into this wacky ass world of fictional characters and crazy plots, y'know?

Anyways, here's my answers to the icebreaker questions from the first post in this thread! Well not all of them since I've already answered a few in the above paragraphs but yeah XD

1.) What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
I CRAVE romance in my roleplays. As long as the roleplay has romance in it, I'm good. I'm also an absolute sucker for nation building, character development, side character relationships, the characters making friendships along the way, etc.
While I love wholesome and fluffy romance, I'm more than welcome to drama and angst. I'm also fine with slow or fast burn, but if it's too slow then I start to lose interest.

2.) What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
As you may have already guessed by the fact that I'm a manicurist and aiming for a degree in fashion I just really like beauty and fashion! A goal that I have is to make a gender neutral clothing line and makeup line someday since I only had the option to dress in guy's clothing as a kid. It felt really restricting since despite being born a guy I didn't feel like wearing typical guy clothes, and I just want to make something that feels in between for other people like that y'know?
I'm also a gamer. Valorant, Apex Legends, League of Legends, Minecraft, Danganronpa, and a bunch of other games. Gaming is just where it's at y'know?
Also I'm a big memer. Any moment I get the chance I will make a ur mom, deez nuts, or ligma joke. (I grew up watching VTubers and FPS gamers on Twitch could you tell? LMAO)

3.) Why you decided to join RpNation.
Essentially I was complaining about my lack of roleplays to one of my online besties and he directed me to this site. Snooped around a bunch before signing up and really liked it! The layout is clean and not too hard to get the hang of. I really like how it's sectioned out!

4.) Write about your pet (if you have one).
I have a maine coon, her name is Lily! I named her Lily because on the first week I adopted her I bought a bouquet of lilies, and for some reason she kept trying to eat them. She never even does this with flowers, it's only lilies XD

5.) Or for something silly, two truths and a lie.
- Despite being a manicurist I've never had my nails done.
- I'm allergic to dogs.
- I'm a mix of Chinese, Korean, and French.

Hello! I'm new here, trying to get back into roleplaying. Around my preteen years I floated around roleplaying several places for about 2 and a half years. That turned into trying to write a novel, and then a full break from writing. Trying to jump back into it here, so I hope things go well!

Names: Blood(God), Intern, Lily
Played Age Range: I like to play teens to young adults. In the event of playing fandoms, I will play older characters, they just don't tend to be OC's.
Favored Genre: Slice of Life, Fantasy, and some Adventure
Favored Types: 1on1 and small group roleplays are best. I can't keep up with a big group RP!
OOC Talk: I'm OOC Talk friendly! Generally I prefer to talk in DM's OOC and keep forum talk IC.

I started out RPing on YouTube, chatzy and dream realms. But dream realms got shut down and i had no other contact with my friends on there. Sooo devastating but im excited to meet new people and start again!

i'm theo, or just calling me by my username is ok too. i'm excited to join rp nation, and i've been roleplaying off and on for the better part of a decade by now! i'm mostly into rps that get into the grittier side of life, or ones in apocalyptic / dystopian settings... hit me up if this is something you're into!

i'm into writing, character creation, world building, listening to music, and ice hockey (which i also play!). i hope to make lots of new friends here and get some good stories going : )
 
Saccharine salutations, fine natives of RpNation! I go by the uber-complex, utterly sophisticated and unequivocally intricate polysyllabic cognomen of Zach, and while most of my roleplaying experience has to do with offline ventures into tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons and jokey notebook one-shots, I find forum roleplaying to be very cool, from what I’ve seen so far :D

Within roleplaying, I find all sorts of fantasy save grimdark (because one can only find so many synonyms for Stygian and crimson) to be personal favourites when it comes to genre, though when it comes to roleplays in general, I tend towards large-ish groups with a well-developed cast of characters to cooperate–or clash–with. I’m not particularly good at English outside of whatever I learned from Dummies’ Guide to Drama, so I hope potential partners will bear with any grammatical errors!

Side note: I have an adorable Pomeranian and a borderline tyrannical poodle, both of whom may very well fare better at social interaction and/or creative writing than me. If I end up messaging someone an eloquent asldkasjdoieiwnmdaosdmk, assume it to be a result of some canine-on-computer assault.

Hello!! am I doing this right!! I'm trying to post an introduction!! New here, username Marigoldia~☆! I'm starting on this site cause my old one basically became barren, hope to make friends here! My favorite rp stories are deep, detailed adventure, fantasy, paranormal stuff- as well as horror and psychological! I have yeaars (about 8) of rp experience, from DND to rp video games- so I know how to plan a story or build as we go along! Basically my only weakness is playing like, actually characters in media- I can only do my ocs well! I mean, I've *tried* to rp actual characters before, but I just suck at playin something that's totally defined already, ya dig?
Oh anyway, lookin forward to meetin yall~☆
