Hello, I’m Nemo and I use They/Them or He/Him pronouns. I have about 20 years of experience with roleplay since the good ol’ days on Neopets forums. I mostly do One-on-One RP, however, I am enthusiastically open to small groups of 3-4 with the possibility of expanding further depending on how well the group dynamics go. I have participated in bigger groups on occasion but it can be daunting and confusing at times. Plus it’s important to me that everyone feels included and enjoys themselves while writing together.
I have a wide interest in genres and settings and tend to be pretty flexible and willing to write just about anything. Some of my favoured settings are post-apocalyptic and fantasy. I’d like to try and write some sci-fi as well (it’s not exactly my strong suit though) but, a genre I am really hankering to try is horror as I’ve not had the opportunity to give it a try that much, if at all.
Outside of roleplaying I enjoy playing JRPG video games (and sometimes tabletop such as D&D), watching anime, reading manga, knit/crochet, traditional drawing and watercolour painting, working out, learning to cook and bake, sleeping and general other nerdy things.
Also, I have two pets. A dog named Cap (short for Captain America) and cat named Doc (short for Doctor Strange). Cap is a Jindo mix that I got while living in Korea and Doc is a Scottish Fold I got while living in Germany. They are my sons and I treasure them dearly!
While I used to write a lot more OC focused RP I have since veered more towards playing canon characters within obscure fandoms which makes it difficult to find potential RP partners. I am hoping to meet some here and maybe make some new friends along the way!
As an aside, I am most comfortable with roleplaying on Discord rather than using forums or PMs (as I tend to forget to check them a lot.
