I have some amount of roleplay experience from creatively writing as well as playing D&D; I’ve been involved in D&D for about 4 years?

Usually focus on fantasy settings.

I joined RpNation when my friend mentioned it.

I have a very sweet one year old golden retriever.

Two truths and a lie? I made a candle, I have a twin, my favorite color is blue.

Hello, I'm messing around with some bbcode tutorials and soon off to see some interest checks, funsies threads that I may get into. Never have been spectacular at introductions and 100% always feeling weird which I'm alright with.

Ah, I already made a mistake. anyways
  • My experience with roleplaying isn't really a one sentence, ezpz explanation. But I enjoy writing and can with roleplaying, so that's why I joined.
  • Of the roleplays I've enjoyed, they have all been fantasy related if not at the least with some fictional setting.
  • Interests outside of roleplaying are playing games, like Minecraft. I just downloaded Genshin Impact today to try it out as well. I also draw, or doodle I think is a better word for it. If listening to music is a hobby, that's definitely up there as well.
  • I don't have a pet, but many of my family members do.

I've been roleplaying for *years*. 19 years, oh no I feel old. I'm still rather casual with my roleplay compared to others who grew up roleplaying as I did. I enjoy the back and forth, character interaction and growth. I love anything that isn't straight real world. Roleplay is my escape so I like for things to be fanciful or unique.

I joined here because other places I frequent have gone to the dogs. They are filled with bots or people who want things I don't want to include in my roleplay.

Anyways, I look forward to meeting you all and playing.

Hello everyone, I have been role palying for a while on tumblr but finally got tired of it and decided to look for something else. I am comfortable with role playing krp but open to interact with anyone (you don’t have to be krp). My muses are 75% au based on Taeyong from NCT and Yeonjun from TXT. More details to come. Don’t be afraid to message. Before I go..you must be 18+ to rp with me.
 
Yo! The name's Bannable, Ban for short. I'm not new to roleplaying, in fact I've been doing it for a while now. Found RPN since the other forum rp site that I was in has been slowly dying, checked this one and found that it's fairly active. Anyways, I'm pretty flexible with the roleplay size (1x1 or group and what genre it'll be. The only exception is that I prefer to rp with people who are 18+, sorry to all the wonderful writers who happen to be younger than that haha!

  • The RP's I've done have ranged from fantasy, mystery, modern action, and horror mostly.
  • Other interests include moderate bodybuilding (no roids), gaming, and writing short stories.

I'm not new, but I'm pretty new here.
I mainly came because I've lately realized how I havent really written all that much since before FF shut down- I mostly stuck to the human/fantasy section of that site though.
I really like to roleplay crossovers apocalyptic type scenarios, dystopias, or really anything where a character is caught out of their element- fandoms attached or otherwise.
I also really like that survival/psychological horror vibe when it comes to any genre of RP.
I have a hard time listing off the top of my head, but I'm very into TWDG, Gorillaz, Portal (the whole Valve narrative universe, really), and a few others, feel free to ask.
Outside of writing/RPing, I quite like flight sims and am currently building a DCS setup.
Other than that, I don't really do all that much.

Ahm hi guys Im Ticen 20 years old, I did roleplay for like aahh four years but bc of my personal reasons I stopped playing the game. Gta San Andreas was the platform where i did most of my rp tho. Yea so I didn't do any online rp realited stuff yet but I wanna try it, this is why I joined to you guys. Oh my interests hmm fantasy or present modern day roleplay, idk for sure and my hobbies are playing on my guitars, painting, anime consumption in all quantities xd and skating. Introductory post ahoy! Long-time roleplayer, first-time rpnation-er. I have been taking breaks from writing and reading the last few years, occasionally hopping back in to comfort this addled brain. I'd like to say that I have years of RP experience, and that wouldn't be untrue, but I do worry that skill isn't what it once was. Regardless, I'm here now and I like to go by Lucky. I'm closer to 30 than I've ever been, and while my experience began in my mid-teens and fully appreciate the younger audience, I do prefer those 18+ for a better sense of fitting in.

A bit about me, I'm an avid gamer. I used to have problems playing competitive multiplayer games, but since I've cut those out and focused on TTRPGs and singleplayer games, I've found that my overall quality of life has vastly improved. Failure is no longer a skill/personal failing but a narrative overcoming! Or, well, that's what I'm still rehabilitating my brain into thinking. I'm currently a DM for a 5e campaign, only four sessions in but we have consistently played every week for the past month so I can see this going long-term. I'm also a player in another 5e campaign and a pathfinder 1st.

My RP preferences are primarily medieval-ish fantasy, whether light or grimdark, ranging from Final Fantasy to Warhammer. I'm also a fan of a certain amount of sci-fi, including Mass Effect or some mecha types. That said, I'm not big on doing a lot of established universe or fandom stuff, but I'll make exceptions as long as canon characters aren't used. I haven't done any slice-of-life in a while, and I'm not sure I would do another one of those again anytime soon, but I used to write for those a lot. Now that I'm a decade out of high school, it's lost its luster (looking at you, high school SoL stories, more power to ya). Apoc/Post-apoc stories are also a flavor I haven't partaken in some time, though I'm open to change that soon.

I also like everything to be at least semi-serious, so joke stories/characters don't appeal to me. To clarify, I only think joke characters are those expressly made for comedic effect. I'm actually fond of variety, different, and strange as long as there's even a hint of nuance to it. When it comes to group sizes, I used to do exclusively 1x1 and small groups, but now I heavily prefer small groups over every other type.

I'll be checking out interest checks soon, but I'll also gladly take a look at any invitations or recommendations! Thanks for reading, and I hope we can get along!
