Hey there, Im new too, I got a similar interest to you, though mine extends to polearms. Im glad your username is very straightforward, who'd have thunk that the SwordEnthusiast likes swords.

hello hello all, new member dropping in! i'm new to roleplay, dnd and writing in general. they're fun, i'm just not particularly skilled at creative writing (yet). anything with dragons, fantastical worldbuilding and magic catch my attention immediately, especially if it's something homegrown! i love exploring places that don't exist then jumping in to see what whacky hijinks someone can get into. besides art and worldbuilding my other hobbies are collecting old video game catalogues, coding websites/games, baking and bothering insects. since we're sharing pets i have the sweetest pet chilean rose tarantula <3

Hi im extremely new to this site but I miss amino and roleplaying lol. You can call me Crow, I'm a strictly 18+ roleplayer and im in multiple different fandoms, more often than not playing an oc (im having fun lemme live). I hope to have lots of fun while im here <3 (idk what im doing)

Hello all! You can call me Luciel! I'm new to the site and, believe it or not, I actually stumbled onto this place by accident ahaha!

My experience with roleplay and how long I have been roleplaying:
Well! I've been roleplaying since around 2018, I started on Amino! I think around that time, Amino was sooo busy and bustling with activity. I literally learnt what roleplay was from Amino and learnt how to go about it from there haha. I started by doing the chaotic group roleplays until I eventually was able to find actual partners and transition to one on one roleplays which I found I liked waaay more. I took a long break from Amino as it was basically dying and now it feels like all the good roleplayers have left so I've been on a quest to find a new roleplay community!

What interests I have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
In terms of interests, I always find myself doing roleplays with either plots made up by me or my partner or basically crafting a plot created from a favorite work of mine. And I will occasionally do roleplays where I play an already established character from an already established piece of media. Some of my favourite genres include: Drama, romance, slice of life, cyberpunk, supernatural etc.

What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
I love love to play videogames! JRPGs and RPGs are my favourite genres in this case but I play a bit of everything. Some of my favorite games, off the top of my head in no specific order, are: The persona games, The legend of Zelda games, Nier Automata, Stellar blade, ghost of tsushima...etc. I also love to play visual novels! be it on PC or even phone VNs. (Can you tell that even after all these years I am thoroughly obsessed with Mystic Messenger haha)

Other than that, I am also an avid anime watcher! Though I feel these days due to my busy work schedule I have been watching less. My favourite genre of anime is usually like cyberpunk or like Pschological type anime if that makes sense haha. Think "Psycho-Pass"

Why I decided to join RpNation.
As I said in the beginning, I've been in search of a new roleplay community since amino really seems tp have died out and then I stumbled upon this forum when looking for a fanfic by accident haha. So I checked things out here and thought I'd love to be a part of the community!

I'm really looking forward to interacting more on here! Thanks for having me!

hello! ive been roleplaying since i was 13, so i have...some decent experience. i tend to get busy tho. but i like to roleplay bc it gives me a way to create more storylines with characters i already love. my hobbies? i typically read, or play the sims 4.

i joined rpnation bc i was looking for online fourth wing communities that rp, tbh. bc amino has a community but it is dead dead. so i cant use that. before anyone asks, i am 19, so im an adult lol. i currently live with my grandparents and they have a dog and two cats, but back at my parents house they have my turtle and our 3 birds. :)

anyways! i just wanted to say hello.
 
Hi everyone! First time joining a community this big on anything other than Discord, so I'm a novice when it comes to terms used here! I've been RPing for some time now, mostly with a friend, but they didn't have as much inspiration to write anymore. Hoping to find something and someone new to write with again, since writing is one of my favourite things to do in my time off.

Hello! I am somewhat experienced at online roleplay (but very rusty!) and I like various genres but fantasy is probably my favorite! I took a pretty long break since I was getting my roleplaying needs met with my IRL tabletop group but it's been getting harder for everyone to meet up on the same day so now I'm here.

Also I would just like to make sure it's understood that I am NOT a cat.

Hello! You can call me Lunae. I'm in my late twenties with experience of thirteen years of writing and still looking to improve my skills. I've tried to branch out writing alone with fanfiction and personal commissioned work but collaborative roleplay writing is always most fun!

I've actually signed up a while ago but I accidentally forgot about setting up here. Why I've chose to finally come here is to expand my search to find roleplay partners looking for the same fandoms and original ideas as mine. The kind of fandoms I'm into are but not limited to: Honkai Star Rail, Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, Love and Deepspace, Infinity Nikki, Apothecary Diaries, Inuyasha and Sailor Moon.

Other than playing canon characters, I'm also friendly to OCs as I have some of my own with art references attached. I'm no artist so they're all commissioned work. I'm open to most themes of AUs as long as it has an interesting plot. When it comes to fandomless, I need something like fantasy and romance to get me intrigued.

My interests that many be related to roleplay preferences are rooted in anime, asian dramas, fantasy, romance and angst.

I'm 21 years of age (at the time of writing this introductory post) and have been doing this little hobby of roleplaying for a whopping 12 years now which feels really crazy to write. I go by he/him pronouns, but don't mind being called any gendered term (even those not accustomed to the average he/him persona).

I used to roleplay on this site under a different username so I know the works of the forum. I've also been a regular on RPForums about half a decade ago.

At this point, I'm using roleplay as a way to sharpen my writing skill, bring some more joy to my life, and meet other people who share the passion for roleplaying.

I look forward to roleplaying with many of you (hopefully fun and like-minded) folk!

hihi!!!! i'm delaney and i'm 23 years old. i've been rping since i was 11 or so! i actually started via instagram comments and i cannot believe i had the guts lmao. my absolute FAVORITE type of role play is creating original characters within our own universe with someone else! i prefer more modern-day settings, but i'll get jiggy with all sorts of fantastical elements. i would also do ANYTHING for angst and hurt/comfort once we have established characters together!!!
i promise i know correct formatting and can do longer rps! i have an english education degree and i've won a few awards for writing; it just feels more approachable to talk like this interpersonally :P that said, outside of rp i am an artist and i'm sure you'll see lots of that on my profile once i get it set up. i'm also a puppeteer!!!!!!
i am so so nervous so if you'd be interested in creating some characters together i would be incredibly happy if you'd hmu :)
