Jason ran as fast he could. Even before this whole freak accident, he had been avoiding people like they were zombies. He kept yelling, "Is anyone here?! Please help!" He knew he was going to die.
((Your fine, lol))

A young girl with brown hair was also running for her life, hearing distant yelling. She panted as she ran, zombies forming a giant crowd behind her. She had ran out of ammo, what was she to do now? She eventually ran into a boy, making them both fall.

Jason stumbled and fell back as he ran into the girl. There was no time for pleasentries at the moment. "You can call me 'J' on account of the informal meeting." He quickly got himself up and helped the girl up. He glanced at the two crowds of zombies chasing them. They needed to find a safe place to hide quickly. "We need to get out of here."

Alexandria nodded in agreement,"Just call my Alexa." She grabbed the boys hand and took off for a old broken down apartment building. She ran into a random apartment and locked the door also blocking it with what she could find.

Jason took a moment to look out the window and see the crowd of zombies. He looked back at the girl and smiled dryly. "My name's Jason." He put his hand out to shake hers.

Alexandria took it, shaking it." Alexandria." She smiled, panting still from her run." I thought everyone was gone." She admitted as she looked around the room.

Jason chuckled at the thought. "So did I." He flinched as he heard a noise in the back room of the apartment.

Jason opened the window in case they needed a way out and pulled his knife out. About all he had to use at his disposal. In a firm tone, he spoke to Alexandria. "If all else fails, go out that window. Stay here. Am I clear?" This moment required planning and leadership if they were to survive. He waited for a response.

The smaller girl nodded, understanding his words. Phew was going to be leader, she knew that. If he got hurt she didn't know what to do. He was the only alive person she had seen for a while.

Jason inched toward the door, his hands shaking. He was nervous. He saw what those things could do. He felt the knife seemingly become heavier in his hand. He clamped his hand around the doorknob and took a deep breath. He suddenly had a better idea. He whispered to Alexandria to hide behind the corner and wait.

Alexandria raised her brow, but did as she was instructed, staying deadly silent as she did so. What was he up to? She wondered hoping he wasn't part of a group of kids who were making fun of her for running from those deadly creatures,

Jason slipped his knife back into his pocket and found a slender metal pipe. He picked it up and got ready to turn the doorknob. He was shaking even more. He turned the doorknob and allowed the door to crack. He quickly hugged his back to the wall, both hands gripping onto the pipe as if his life were depending on it. He waited for a few intense moments. Once it came out, he would pounce on it with the pipe.

Alexandria watched as she peeked around the corner, a nasty thing with its head bashed in came of of the room, eyes gone with intense bloody dripping out of it. She wanted to throw up so bad, but she held it in, wanting to be quiet for him to concentrate on getting rid of the creature they had discovered.

Right as he saw it, he nearly threw up. What had this person done to themself to be in this condition? There wasn't time to think about this, though. He swung the metal pipe at it's forehead from the side as hard he could. The thing fell on it's back. He didn't dare turn around the corner. He still didn't know if it was down. He saw Alexandria peeking around the corner. He assumed she had a much better view inside the room from where she was standing. He mouthed, 'Is it down?'

Alexandria nodded, coming from the corner, taking the knife and putting it in the zombies head, making sure it was Down for good. She ran to the window and threw up, the smell getting to her.

Jason stared at the thing, memories flooding in. It reminded him of... he couldn't think about it now. He looked at Alexandria throwing up out the window. He felt sorry for her. She didn't take this as well as he had. He dropped the metal pipe and leaned against the wall. He slid down onto the floor and ran his hands through his messy dark hair.
