"Ok" I say softly "It's just the nightmares won't stop, I haven't gotten decent sleep in weeks... That was the first release I have ever gotten from the constant fear" I say softly, holding my arm

The dog didn't react aggressively. It was similar to the reaction she got when she first saw him, just confused and wary.


She was, for a moment, slightly shocked that someone had come after hearing her voice. She listened in silence as he spoke, letting the words sink in.


Incredibly defensive, she fired back, "You know what I think is sick? Watching me for God knows how long. He had to eat, or he would die. And more than likely, the other dog died because of starvation, not by being killed by mine. Jack doesn't have a single scratch on him, so even if he killed the other dog, which isn't likely, the dog didn't fight back, and was giving up his life. I don't find that such an insurmountable history and it does not mean I should've left him there to die.


"And in this world, being alone is the best option. No one to slow you down, no one to steal from you, and no one to insult your dog. So go join Jane. But don't waste your breath on my dog."


She gripped "Admiral Jackson's" leash tighter, before turning around and jogging in the opposite direction, not going at a sprint only because she didn't know if the dog could keep up.


Jackson happily matched her pace.

Lucas roused from his sleep, Harmony must have been mad at him for falling asleep in her arms. Stretching, he stood up from the bed, soon noticing blood on the floor. Lucas started shaking nervously, was she...taken by force?


Lucas quickly put on his back-breaking backpack and ran out the door. Finding his way out of the apartment, he looks around shakily "Maybe I should just, hm?" he turned quickly towards a sound, looking in the direction of the forest he'd come in from "It's not far from here....t-that school" the image of that teacher haunted the boy to his core. He'd gotten away, and left everyone behind. Lucas gave a pained expression as he thought of it, he couldn't save anyone. That teacher was coming, she was going to kill him...maybe he deserved it? He was selfish, only saving himself. I...I have to go back, and kill that vile teacher! I can't live know she's out there anYMORE! The 12-year old always knew he'd snap one day, and being all alone only brought him closer to that day. Pulling out his pistol from behind himself, he marched on towards the forest.
