Fandom Yu-Gi-Oh Roleplay

Blaize's name was being repeatedly called but he was in a deep sleep. Chris' persistence of trying to wake him up worked though.

Blaize: Huh, mornin'... wait, you guys are ready to explore already? Sure, why not

(I don't know why but I wasn't getting any notifications from this RP)

Blaize: Sure thing Chris

Blaize scans the deserted island around them. Wondering where to get good supplies, staying in the beach wouldn't help

Blaize: Let's explore inside the island and not just here at its beach. We could find something useful.

Chris: Sounds good.

He slings his bag over his back and puts on his Duel disk. He wouldn't be dueling anytime soon, but it being there reassured him.

Chris: Let's go. *Ventures after Blaize*

Blaize also wore his backpack and prepared to enter.

Blaize: Where going inside the jungle guys. Stay grouped.

And with that, Blaize entered the jungle.

[setting: Jungle. Various perennial plants and flowers of copious hues surround our heroes. Insects and birds can be heard; The jungle is full of life. A sense of dread hangs over our group]

Chris: Wow. Look at all this flora. I don't recognise any of them so far, but I'll let you guys know if I notice something edible.

(Thanks)

Blaize: You sure know your botany, huh? A person does need to be cautious around a jungle, especially in a deserted island we know nothing about like this one.

Blaize paves the way of any plants with his arms.

Chris: Oh, it's one of my hobbies.

[The group approach a clearing in the jungle. There is an old, rusted wreckage of a turbine plane , and ahead of them, a large stone temple can be seen.]

Chris: Wow.

Blaize: This place wasn't some deserted place after all... well maybe except now. Anyway, let's go to the turbine plane. It might hide some rations in it... though it looks old...

Blaize went in front of the old rusted wreckage. He examined it a bit before looking around to see if it can be opened.

Chris: *Inspects the wreckage along with Blaize* If there's no food, there can be maps, out other navigational equipment.. And lo and behold... a compass and an ocean chat! Too bad neither of us can read nautical data..

Blaize: Yeah you're right... there doesn't seem to be much here in this plane. When we're done scavenging, let's check that building over there. Looks neato.

Blaize entered the temple, leading the way but something in his bag vibrated; his phone. He can ask whoever it was for help. The vibrating stopped abruptly as he checked his phone, revealing it was now out of battery.

Blaize: Great. That's was reaaallly convenient. Anyway, lets see if we can find anything in here.

Chris: Huh.. yeah, sure.

A long corridor led to a huge room. The floor is segmented into rectangles, and on both ends of the room, there appears to be a stand. Behind each stand, there is an odd looking contraption that consists of a glass cylinder filled with water.

Chris: ...hey Blaize.. call me crazy, but the way the floor is segmented.. doesn't it kind of look like a duelling field?

Blaize: ...wow, it really does! But I'm not believing that already, this building looks older than Maximillion Pegasus' date of birth.

But Blaize couldn't help noticing that what Chris said was so correct; the rectangles, the stand, everything.

Blaize smirks at the idea. Removing his deck from his pocket, he held it with his right hand. He also fumbled his bag for his duel disk.

Blaize: Sure thing! But, let's make this quick; we might need to keep exploring.

Chris: Alright. Let's shuffle each other's cards. I probably won't be much of a challenge though.

(QUICK, O COMPUTING MAGUS! TO THE OOC CHAT! *leaps out of window*)

Blaize: Yeah, you're right. You can have a water bottle. I have like, three more. I think it would be enough for a day or two until we really need to find water.

Blaize rummages his bag and found one, handing it out to Chris.

Chris: *Nods, and goes outside with Blaize. Suddenly, a hooded figure ran out from the clearing and into the depths of forestry.* Wha-hey! Hold it right there!

Chris: *Running* Well, know we know the island's definitely inhabited..

[The mysterious figure had climbed up a large tree and secured itself on what looked like a wicker treehouse.]

Chris: Alright, there's no way out of this one; let's climb.
