Anime & Manga Your first EVER anime! ^^

My first was Inuyasha! Still an anime I fall back on from time to time when I want a casual rewatch of something. Such a guilty pleasure show but I love it so much. Though looking back, some of the characters have begun to irk me a bit as I have gotten older. But that is what happens with age!

My first anime was Inuyasha, and I LOVED it. A friend of mine in elementary school gifted me the entire series on DvD. I have an Inuyasha scroll poster on my wall haha

I may or may not have had a major crush on Sesshomaru.

Inuyasha was definitely a spiral down a long rabbit hole of being a weeb during the entirety of middle and high school. I don't really watch anime or read manga like I used to, but I do indulge in it from time to time.

I had the misfortune of having AOT being my first anime. Unsurprisingly, watching that kind of anime had an effect on 3rd grade me. to lift my spirits after watching the first season, I thought of watching a different, more uplifting anime.
Kid me picked SAO.

I do have depression, if anyone was curious.

I honestly couldn’t tell you the very first anime I ever watched, but the very first anime I REMEMBER watching was Cowboy Bebop.

Granted, DBZ came on often but I never watched it. Was more of a Power Rangers guy back in that day.

I think most people in my age group who grew up in America‘s first exposure to anime was via Toonami or Adult Swim.
