Cool idea. I think I might have Tom start off at the mutant rally as part of the police presence, gets caught up in the fighting, snaps back to his senses causing Nightmare to make Tom relive a twisted version of his army days.

all betteh now :p i have the weekend off of work so ill be working on my post, question for the group, for those who've been affected by Nightmare, namely Iceman and Pietro i was thinking of having Nightmare use them in the Cerebro fight like puppets, do you mind if i God mod, or would you rather i just implant some kind of command in their minds and have you write the situation during your turns.

Also also, im leaving Vol 2's story up to a vote. Do we want A is for Avalanche in which Avalanche makes his appearance and causes an earthquake in California, and the X-Men have to respond, and fight Captain America who's under the impression that all the mutants are working together, and Avalanche will actually break off a piece of California which we'll later use as Utopia

or we could go with The Secret Origin Of The X-Men in which Forget Me Not is a member of Shield and Nick Fury enlists the help of Xavier who goes around doing the original recruitment of the X-Men (this is in the past before they were a team) with Forget Me Not in order to fight a civil war in Latveria between Victor Von Doom and Lucia Von Bardas and in their possession is a frozen Captain America, once the X-Men's part is over Xavier returns them to where he originally found them and erases their minds of the whole ordeal, only to go around and recruit them into the actual x-men

I can still control Iceman, have him turn hostile under Nightmare's influence. This event could also be similar to the time Emma Frost possessed him and used abilities he didn't know he had, which will pave the way for his attempts to unlock his potential and trigger his secondary mutation.

Also, I'm all for A is for Avalanche.

As far as Pietro goes, I think you can god mod him since Nightmare’s in control- makes sense. Go crazy honestly lol, think it will help unlock some slight reality warping potential within Wanda?

Not sure just how yet, just spitballing. If you have any suggestions I’d appreciate it.

Also, A is for Avalanche sounds awesome to me as well. But, I do also like the idea of Captain America being under someone else’s influence too?

my idea for using Bobby and Pietro is having Quicksilver use his speed in a fight with Logan and Bobby would not quite freeze the ladies but considerably slow their reaction times so that Nightmare can overload them with horrible situations to distract them and just take Cerebro from Jean. Also at the end of my post i'm going to white out all of existence to make way for our individual Nightmares, so for example Xavier's Nightmare world would be different from Wolverine's and everyone else's, for Juggernaut since he isn't involved he can continue as is, but i don't think Black Tom has any mental protections so he'll be under the spell

NAME: Patrick Anderson

MUTANT NAME: Legion

MUTANT ABILITY: Evolutional adaptation. His main mutation is to adapt to whatever he is hurt by. He constantly adapts to any forms of attack. After experiencing one form of attack he learns how to resist it in the future. Theoretically, if injured enough the same way, he could develop invulnerability.

In addition, he can evolve to ensure he's not injured the same way twice.


Regeneration: Patrick also has a highly accelerated healing power that allows him to regenerate from most damage almost instantly.


Bone and claw protrusions: Patrick's bones and claws are sharp, strong and durable enough to hurt individuals as strong as even juggernaut. His bones secret toxins capable of slowing healing factors.

Mental defense: due his mind being what can only be described as a hot mess, Patrick is highly resistant to all but the strongest, most domineering telepaths.


weaknesses

monstrous appearance: Patrick is not winning any sexiest man awards, which takes a toll on his mental health. Being called a monster by people who don't even know him bother's his greatly, even though he tries not to so it.

Asburgers syndrome: Patrick has Asburgers syndrome and lives with it daily, making it hard to sometimes put his thoughts into words. In addition, medication designed to treat it is ineffective due to his mutation as his body has become immune to the medication. This makes him prone to outbursts and erratic behavior at times.

Difficulty with telepathic communication: due to his jumbled thought process. Patrick has trouble communicating with telepathic messages and generally refrains from it. He also reacts aggressively to perceived telepathic intrusion into his thoughts.

Mental health: due to the nature of his primary mutation, Patrick's Mental health is of vital importance, should he suffer an irreversible mental breakdown, he could become a significant threat to the planet

BIOGRAPHY- the bastard son of Charles Xavier and Felicia Anderson, to say Patrick Anderson once had a normal life would be a lie. Born into a billionaire family, Patrick was diagnosed with Asburgers syndrome at age 7, which triggered his mutation early. Despite this, his family and the staff still accepted and loved him as God loves all his children, human and mutant.

Patrick can speak elven, kligon, draconic, mandalorian, Japanese, Korean, German, Latin, English, orcisch, and dwarfism.

He is a master in all aspects of HEMA ( Historical European Martial Arts, which includes sword fighting, wrestling, grappling, boxing, knife fighting, fighting in armor, archery, pole arm combat, and equestrian combat.)

My take on x-23 would have them be a boy created by S.W.O.R.D. bonded with Mysterium, and a symbiote.

We don't want to make characters too OP lol, but if Goonfire is cool with it, im down. Also also, make sure that Mysterium isn't connected to Iron Man because i had plans for him in the story

I looked up mysterium, it has connections to xmen lore too. Plus it has weaknesses. Magnetic properties, 100% electric conductivity.

Also, im a wee bit behind in my comics, i recently found out about marvel unlimited so i been playing catch up that way. im currently in the Civil War 2/Secret Empire Era, i knew a little about Mysterium, but i didn't know it had X-Men connections, thats my oopsie lol
