Anime & Manga Worst Animes that you have watched
Oh boy... I hope you're prepared for some major hate, because I bet a lot of people are going to get pissed about somebody saying Death Note's bad... >~<
I donno. I can't remember Death Note being a masterpiece. It was predictable, I thought. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.
How about Moe-chan?
Can I use Moe-Chan?

Let me use Moe-chan.

Fine, you win :c

Spoiler ahead. To be honest it did kinda become weak after they killed L.
Mikami was my sole reason for watching to the end. Once theykilled L,Mikami was the only really good character left.

Oh, Moe-chan, you're so cute when you're dejected!

Also, Light was still badass in the end part of the show. And I was pretty fond of Matsuda for some reason.

I personally wasn't too fond of Light in the second part, though Matsuda... I mean, who couldn't be fond of Matsuda when he randomly got the guts to shoot the crap outta Light at the end.

That scene.

Made me so fucking happy.

I meant more through the whole thing though, felt for the poor dude. Was more of a son to the dear Chief than Light ever was...

Matsuda was more of a son to the chief; however, the Light we know when he isn't with knowledge of the Death Note was equally as good a son, though in a completely different way. To be honest, I would've wished to see an alternate timeline where Mikami was 'Kira' instead of Light, and Light as he was without the Death Note.

Death Note is one of those anime series where you watch it when you're new to anime and think it's the greatest, but as you watch more shows you realize it wasn't that brilliant after all.

God... That arc made me so happy, seeing L and Light work side by side like they did.

...And then, heartbreak... Heartbreak I saw coming, but heartbreak none the less...

Also Mikami would get curbstomped.

Actually the worse recent anime I've seen was probably...Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon. It's Sword Art online all over again...and Sword Art was terrible!

Shattered Angels. I'm all for Shoujo but this just pushed it over the edge. Prepare to feel like a girl when you watch it
My least favorite would probably be Elfen Lied.
I searched high and low through this thread for someone to finally mention this atrophied piece of crap anime!

It's pretty terrible, do not watch.

Also has anyone not mentioned 'Spice and Wolf?' I tried to like it, but I gave up.

I didn't even make it through a full episode of Fruits Basket or Black Butler.

Agree elfen lied is bad, not sure what all the hype about it is for.

I tried Samurai Champloo(?), not sure if I spelled it right, but it was literally a non moving story. It's got rather high ratings though.

That and most harem animes...

Angel Sanctuary.

The manga might have been good, but the movie/show(can't remember which it was) was god awful....I literally stopped it before it was over, put it back in the netflix envelope, and shoved it back in the mail the same afternoon it arrived.

Why? Well where do I start.......it is incredibly boring. I'm not kidding when I compare it to watching old white men "play" golf, it's THAT KIND OF BORING! rofl.

And I also think the voice actors were pretty awful. And no, I'm surely not one of those anime hipsters who think all English dubs are awful and that they're a better anime fan because they only watch the original Japanese versions (which I rarely did, I'd only watch raw Japanese stuff when I was anxious to find out what happened in a series or couldn't find English dubs.).

Speaking as a guy from Japan, spice and wolf is for artistic people who hate popular anime and they all love it. It's the King's Speech of anime.

IMO spice and wolf yaoi would be cute but most Japanese people don't like their dynamic, it's really Western (and modern western, without anything to do with the middle ages like the backdrop is).

Forgot what it was called but I watched this anime about a guy named Cain who pilots a spaceship and shoots the Star of David at other ships with biblical names. There's also a lot of unwelcome and insensitive holocaust references

Awww, I enjoyed it for what it was! Sure the series was far from perfect but it was good fun :)

What was it that you didn't like about it?

just hated it. kirito seemed like a gary stu and from what i've seen, all the girls just fell in love with him.

@yuckeroni, ahhh, yeah that is quite true. Kirito is a pretty flat character at the best of times, although they do give reasons for his OP tendencies, like them or not. I felt like his redeeming qualities were his compassion, intelligence, and understanding, but yeah, none of those make for a very exciting person, lol.

Oh man, the list is long here. School days, angel beats (apparently it's really well-liked too), K project, and the list goes on. But in general I tend to be overly critical about shows so that's that haha
