Byrch frowned at the cowardice and immaturity of the Huntress, as she ran away from him. Sure, he seemed like an ass, but a pack divided in any form was no pack. They were family, not just who you wanted to be close to or not. It was a hollistic conglomerate, and any fracture to that would put the family at peril. But Byrch did not wish to see yet another flee from his attention. The lowly omega-to-be, now the Huntress, and now this perhaps new Omega. He was not willing to let him part so quickly. He was not entirely finished with him. "She is your mentor now, and she can complain about it all she wants, but she's the one who wants to give you 'a new chance' or something like that," Byrch said with a flat tone, "Alas, I have a few more questions to ask. First of which, why us? We're not alone, you know. There are other packs in this world to join, and surely some without the people who seem to not like you one bit. So why us?"

"You were the closet really. I was given a list of packs I might be able to join by another rogue I met, and this pack is in the place I grew up. So I thought, why not come back?" Mark sighed as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. "I had no idea that the people I used to bully back in the day are apart of it, I swear. And trust me, I'm not proud of what I did back then." There was clear sorrow in his voice as he spoke. His hand hung by his side, his fingers fidgeting against each other.

Perhaps it was a convincing plea after all. Byrch, underneath his rather tough shell, was a caring individual. He was alpha, and as much as it was his job to enforce the rules and regulations, he was there for his members. Who was he to promised nothing but truths from his soul? "Mark," Byrch began, "Find your new mentor. You will be monitored closely, especially by her. Learn to get along, do as she says. Perhaps she may teach you thing or two about surviving as one of us. If you take note, you might just survive." The alpha nodded his head, as if to dismiss him.

Be Mark's mentor huh. Well this was definitely going to be a challenge. As Hannah tore through the forest she couldn't help but be mad. As she reached the edge of a clearing she halted, transforming. "Yeah, sure," Mark said, still scared out of his mind at the thought she could kill him if she felt like it. He was also freaked at hearing voices in his head, but didn't let it show. At least, he tried. Instead, he set off to find Hannah. "That bitch be crazy...." He muttered to himself.

With the underlings already far away, the alpha's attention returned to the beta of the pack. Angrily, Byrch stalked back to her, his eyes still aflame. He let lose a low growl of annoyance. "You are supposed to have my back, Aaliyah. I don't know what kind of stunt you think you are pulling by allowing your members to treat the alpha as if I am a child. If speaking up for your alpha is such a difficult job for you, perhaps I should consider another wolf for your position." He was clearly fuming, his tone still in a low growl, one of annoyance and offense. The lowliest members of the pack mouthed off to their alpha and ran cowardly away, and the Beta simply ignores it? Their enemies had better discipline, but here they were without such. With a few moments, Byrch regained his posture. "Sorry, I'm just entirely unhappy with how this has been handled," Byrch said, "You father was a great leader, and you are too. But this is unacceptable."

As Aaliyah walked back to the Beta pack house, after the Alpha order her to find the Hunter for bis insult of the Alpha she couldn't find him and his scent just went into unknown she just told herself she would look later on and give him his punishment. While walking back she saw her Alpha walking towards her with anger and annoyance. When he went up to her she heard his low growl and when he said "You are supposed to have my back, Aaliyah. I don't know what kind of stunt you think you arepulling by allowing your members to treat the alpha as if I am a child. If speaking up for your alpha is such a difficult job for you, perhaps Ishould consider another wolf for your position.". Her eyes widen when he said that he would give away her Beta Position, she knew she could never let that happen it would ruin her name of the family and her father would be pissed at her. Before she could even speck Byrch said to her "Your father was a great leader, and you are too. But this is unacceptable.". She nodded in understanding as she was mad about herself letting the hunter speck rudely of the Alpha in his face. She took a long sigh and says "I'm sorry Alpha for the past few days I haven't been myself but, I am still the same person I always been, having a good friend and the bad ass Beta you met before, I have been tracking down the Hunter but he is somewhere I can't scent but Ill go back looking", she said to him as she was also ashamed of herself

She was the best hunter here and nobody can track a trail like she can.

"So do you have any bite to your bark big boy, or am I going to have to whip you like a dog?" Hannah knew she was being mean but Mark needed to toughen up to be a member of this pack. The same could also be said for her but today wasn't about her. "Hunting is simple pup. You just watch me and jump in if you can." Hannah smirked and bolted off into the forest. She smelled the air, looking for the slightest scent of urine, feces, or sweat. Hannah had always had a good sense of smell. She got it from her father. He was a legend on the west coast. Hannah ran at medium speed so Mark could catch up easily. She was getting a scent. Four cows, a calf, and two bulls. Jackpot. "Now Mark we're only going for the bull. Only one of them. It's important that you leave the local wildlife able to sustain itself." The scent grew stronger the closer she got. Soon she could see them grazing in a small glade. "When you catch up wait for me to attack and crouch low to the ground. Also be sure to be as quiet as possible."

The alpha was not one for pathetic excuses, but he would decide to relent a tad on his Beta. As angry as he was, and as bad as he wished to uphold disciplinary procedure, Byrch decided to give her some respite from his rage. The alpha shook his head, looking back at her. His brown fur seemed to glisten now in the sun, standing on edge, slowly lowering as he relaxed. "Get yourself together, Aaliyah. I don't like leaders who can't handle themselves," Byrch said rather passionately, "But I know you can make this right, Track that Hunter down, and inform him that he will be demoted from his rank due to his behavior. Understood?"

Tired if waiting on the reluctant omega Hannah decided to do her job dispite him not showing up. She hunkered low to the ground and prepared to spring. The elk snorted softly, pulling up the dying grass with their large incisors. She waited for the exact moment to attack, targeting the older of the two bulls. When he was locked in her sight and she was sure she could get to him in time she leapt forward sprinting at the bull. Alerted he let out a shrill call into the frigid air. The elk started to run but not before Hannah was closing in on the elder bull. Being that he hadn't been able to pick up enough speed to bolt Hannah kept up with him easily. When she was ready she pounced, careening her muzzle towards the muscular neck of the bull. She latched on and ripped. The elk hit the ground surrounded in a spray of blood and debris. Hannah chuckled, this bull had been no match for her. Grabbing it's hind leg Hannah drug it back to the omega house ever so slowly. God it would have been nice to have had help but she was fine on her own. This was her specialty after all. When she got there Byrch had just dismissed Aliyah. Hannah drug the large bull up to Byrch, backed away and laid down with her head between her paws in as a sign of submission.

In the end of the previous conversation, Byrch's presence was yet again disturbed by someone disrupting him. It was the Huntress from earlier, the newly appointed Mentor of sorts. Dragging behind her was a large bull, a tasty looking one. But as she lay it down right before him, it was quite apparent that this was a sacrifice of sorts. The alpha could only smirked as he looked it up and down. Finally, some sort of respect. "How kind of you, Hannah," the alpha uttered with glee, grazing at the sheer mass of the beast. It truly took a talented warrior to fell such an elk indeed. But something was off. Was she not to be in charge of her trainee? Where was he? Looking at the elk, he could only see one pair of teeth marks, leading him to believe this was a solo kill. "A kind gesture indeed, but have you forgotten what I asked? You are to train Mark how to do this. Tell me Hannah, does the action of selfishness reflect well on a pack? Surely you did at least show Mark the correct way to fell an elk. DIDN"T you?"

Shit. Hannah's body seemed to sag further onto the ground. She dare not move. "Sir he didn't show up. I waited for half an hour. If I hadn't have attacked they would have moved on and I wouldn't have been able to feed the pack or present you with this kill. I'm sorry sir please forgive my insolence. It's just so hard to be around him. That's not really a good enough excuse but that's my own fault. Oh Byrch what should I do? My emotions have been so extreme lately. I'm so sorry Byrch I've let you down. I'll try my best from now in to accommodate Mark and to teach him." She sighed and closed her eyes.
