The wind was cold and crisp that morning, hot breath causing fog on the mountains edge, a thin layer of frost and dew covering the ground of mud and grass below, a rivers crackling flow resounding through the silent air, the thick stretch of trees covering the plains as paws crunched against the earth, boundary lines drawn close and prey getting sparse as the cold drove the deers and large animals away to warmer sections of the forests that stretched long across this part of the land, small rodents and fish in hiding trying to seek what warmth they could or stock up on the fallen nuts for hibernation. Sharp teeth and pulled back snarls shot through the evergreen as wolves pounced upon their hunt, a small group of evidently lower ranked hunters, not were's or beasts but simple creatures supposed to be roaming this protected and somewhat sacred zone to the animals that lived within, dragged and growling the sounds of tearing flesh and the strong smell of fresh blood spilt throughout the nearby miles, a large elk had been taken, though no much meat lay on his bones, weakened and left behind by the herd unable to keep up in its older age, the dawn still rising upon the sky, today was forecast to be warmer, though a chill breeze still filled the air awaiting to be broken by the suns soft rays.

The town of wolf peaks was still barely rising, the streets empty and cars still parked in garages, after all a small place like this had few early risers apart from the occasional farmer or truck driver coming through and starting up for the day, even the coffee shops had yet to open their doors, still on wait for the somewhat lazy owners who were more concerned with making a quick buck in this place than the actual quality of their joe, luckily a few dedicated and bored teens working at the places had rather perfected the skill. And the pastries around these parts were just about the best you could find, but then again fresh produce and local ingredients generally does that for ya, that was besides the point, the peace in this place was beside any other, it was astoundingly beautiful at this time, the mountains sloping gently peaks and green pines filled with area, the soft glow on the still cold to touch sidewalks, the silence that not even a birds whistling song could break. Slumber and rest filled a place so close to a raging war of tooth and claw, yet there was a certain serenity to such, something that couldn't be put into words, or rather howls at that.

Alexander Helhime - Hendrix Alpha - 25
Alex was already up, he had plans to surprise his lovely mate with a nice breakfast. He already had pancakes cooking on the griddle and bacon and eggs cooking in a couple of skillets. He snagged a piece of bacon munching on it while humming a simple tune. He even planned to make some chocolate chip silver dollars for Daniella. He hoped that little Daniella would like the small chocolate chip pancakes. He also hoped that Chi would have a good appetite. When he cooked for people it seemed to put his mind at ease. He didn't have to think about the Winson Pack and their never ending madness. It was one of the reason he was making so much food right now.

He tossed the finished pancakes on to a large plate and then did the same with the eggs and bacon. He made sure to make plenty for any other pack members who might stumble in and just grab for food. He then got two separate plates and put Chi and Dani's food on them as he finished things up. The chocolate chip silver dollars making a sweet smell fill the air as they cooked. Once the food was set for the two he would go wake them up. Until then he would let them both sleep a bit longer before surprising them with breakfast in bed.

[div class=hover]tesák

“And the big wolf ate Riding Hood and her Grandma in two big gulps. Yum! he said. Then he disappeared into the forest to wait for his next victims.” Tesák finished her story, and glanced down at the pup below her. Lytrí sniffed, licking his chops. “That’s what humans who try to destroy wolves get!” he barked, bouncing to his paws with his tail up. Tesák chuckled, leaning down to lick her pup’s nose. Lytrí jerked away, mumbling out a couple of words before returning to his human form and entering the pack house.

Tesák watched her kin leave from the edge of the forest, then grunted and trotted away. She was quite hungry, and her forest was sure to provide nourishment for her. Although Winson was due to wake soon and breakfast would be made, she preferred hunting. When she broke through the forest and into a dewy meadow, she stopped. Tesák’s ears twitched at a noise, and the hunter pivoted to her right.

A hare appeared from its burrow, its whiskers twitching sleepily. Tesák liften a paw, pushing her ears forward and raising her hackles. A picture perfect stalk. When the hare turned away to graze, she moved forward silently, careful to keep her fur from disturbing the foliage beneath her feet. When she drew up only a few feet behind her target, she paused. The hare was ignorant, continuing to fill its belly. After a moment, a shrill screech could be heard from meters away as Tesák made quick work of her prey.

She returned to the path leading to the Winson house, her fur damp with dew and her belly comfortably full. Along the path back, a familiar scent reached her nostrils. Glancing to her left, she bared her teeth in greeting as a white wolf joined her path. Polaris flicked an ear in acknowledgement before properly greeting his mate. The pair exchanged only a couple of words as they approached their home. They arrived together, shifting in the same stride and walking in.

Lytrí was sitting at the kitchen counter, chomping down his second bowl of cereal when his parents entered. Polaris slung an arm around his son’s shoulders and ruffled his brown hair whilst Tesák opened a cupboard to grab a mug. She made a pot of coffee and took a seat next to Polaris and Lytrí. The three sat silently, shaking off the morning’s drowsiness and basking in each other’s comfortable presence.

A large beast looked over a tree stump, dark locks of black and brown fur would sway slightly in the wind as a chill ran down his spine. The brute was larger than a wolf, his form bunching the muscles together as the beast lowered himself into a crouch. The beast had lighter brown patches amongst the darkened black fur that lined the animal’s limbs. The brute had tense movements, Vernon had tense movements. The beast had a long snout that seemed to twitch as his fangs were exposed in a grin. Vernon would appear menacing to many creatures that didn’t know better, he was just at peace with a calm grin slipping onto his broad jaw. Vernon looked as if he were happy in some way, looking down at the tree stump with glee.

The brute seemed to sway as he crouched to the ground, his stomach brushed against the ground. The prickly grass poked and prodded at his chest and stomach, gliding past his thick fur. The morning dew seemed to get rubbed off on his pelt, slimy mud was evidence enough to how long Vernon had been out that ran up along his legs. The beast was rather peaceful as his nose twitched, specks of dirt smearing his nostrils as he basked in the scent. The thing is, nothing smelt different. The usual scent his pack carried lingered longingly along the stump, which told him no other creature passed through.

Vernon rose to his full height, towering and casting a shadow over the stump. He flicked his brown furred ears forward before angling his head to the side, he was indeed happy nothing came within the immediate border, however he was a relatively friendly and active brute so he was rather bored. As a beta he should carry on and do his job, but he felt bored with calm, even as he thought about it he knew he would regret not having it in the end.

Letting out a gruff and deep chortle of sorts, the beast turned around flicking his tail as he retreated within the forest. Vernon stepped into the ground leaving his own set of paw prints just like the creatures before him, his brooding and scorching yellow brown eyes glaring at the path before him. Vernon was strolling towards the pack house, he hadn’t slept that night deciding to check around their land for any surprises. Vernon did so once a week, they might be friendly towards creatures but when unfriendly foes entered upon the territory he preferred having the upper hand in the situation.

Chiaki blinked awake as she began to hear the sound of danielle crying from the other room. As she sat up to go check on the girl, she noticed her mate was gone. It had been so long she she first joined the pack it seemed like a distant memory yet so much like a fresh scar. She could still feel the pain of the beatings some days and it brought all of her memories back.

"DD it's ok I'm right here," chiaki whispers as she waddled into the girls room. The pregnant half blood sat on the edge of the bed and ran her fingers gently through the young girls hair. "Its ok mommy is here," she coos softly attempting to calm the girl.

Dani just looked at her mother as she sniffing as she calmed down slightly" sorry mommy I had a bad dream" she told her as she looked at her it was the first time she called Chiaki her mother. She didn't think her real parents would come back she just snuggle against her mother she just sat up" I'm hungry" she say rubbing her eyes as she just yawns she didn't like her bad dreams she just got out of bed holding her stuffed bear. Dani just looked at her mother she didn't like her nickname knew she had to get used to it" mommy what we doing today" she asked happily she just looked at her hearing her stomach growling as she giggled. Alexander Helhime - Hendrix Alpha - 25
Alex finished putting the pancakes on the plate all nice and neat. He wondered if anyone else in the pack was up already. He thought he had smelled Vern's scent heading for the door, bit that had been it. For all he knew the beta could have just gotten home late. Picking up the plates he headed upstairs to Chi and his room, but he didn't get far. He heard Dani's little voice talking about being hungry and he smiled softly. Lightly tapping the door with his foot, "Mind if I come in?" He asked slightly unable to open the door with the full plates balanced in one hand and syrup and butter in the other hand.

He stood there waiting for some sort of response bor for the door to open. It wasn't exactly how had planned things. They both were awake and he wasn't sure if they'd want to eat breakfast in bed now. But he still had hopes that they would both enjoy the surprise for them. He glanced back downstairs, had he shut off the stove? He frowned in thought, if he hadn't then he definitely needed to go check on that. "Last thing I want to do it accidentally burn down the pack house...." He muttered to himself.

Styx Kagore - Alpha - Winson - Wolf Form
Uncaring for when his wolves got up, for Styx had better things to do than wake their lazy forms, the Alpha was out hunting. But oh, he wasn't hunting deer, or rabbit, or any prey of sorts really. No, he was hunting the hunters, the wolves that set upon his territory and stole his prey. He would not have it. He stalked them in silence, his large, intimidating form blending into the shadows, ensuring that the wind didn't blow his scent into their path. He was waiting for the opportune moment, when he could strike with ease and violence, when he could do the most damage.

He snarled as he noticed the elk they'd caught and eaten on his land, and the Alpha suddenly sprang for the shadows, catching ones leg, the one who seemed to be leading the group, in his teeth, snapping his jaw down with a snarl and a gleeful gleam of his eye as the other screeched in pain. Others came at him to protect their fallen comrade, for Styx had sunk his teeth into his neck moments before, and all were fended off with ease by the Winson Alpha, more than prepared to excitedly protect his territory with all the rage of the monster inside of him. The monster who, by the time he was finished, was covered in blood, both his own and his foes, and surrounded by the dead. The only mark that Styx himself had gained was one across his side, a lucky swipe, but he didn't care.

Instead, he grabbed the scruff of the supposed leader's body, and started to drag him home. This would set an example of what he wanted his pack to do to intruders, and what would happen to them if they didn't listen to Styx.

He set the body down with a thump outside the door, and let loose a piercing howl, a command to wake and come and see what the Alpha had brought his pack that morning. Usually he brought food, seeing as hunting was a good release for his anger, but today he brought anger in every single hair across his body.

Astaroth 'Ash' Smallclaw - Omega - Hendrix - Wolf Form
The young omega couldn't be bothered to move that morning. She knew she might get in trouble, in fact she worried about it, but she just couldn't get herself to drag her body to her paws, even when she could smell food nearby. New to the pack, and previously wild, she was still very wary of her new pack mates, often shaking nervously when around any of them.

After all, she was still injured from when she'd wandered upon Winson territory, just before she'd been found by Hendrix. The bite on her shoulder was healing, stiff and tender, and the claw marks down her chest, and over her cheek, were fading. She still felt slow and sluggish, and certainly preferred to be in her wolf form. After all, she'd barely ever used her human one, what with being wild.

Artemis Lunala - Omega - Winson - Wolf Form
Artemis was scared. She'd been tucked in a corner all night, near the other Omega's and Breeding Females, wide awake. She didn't know how any of them could sleep when the others of the pack could come in any second, but she didn't ever ask. Instead, that night for certain when she felt like something was wrong, she kept awake and watched, hoping to protect them should someone come in. After all, she had yet to be bred yet, she wasn't pregnant like some of the others, she could try and fight.

Hearing the Alpha's call, however, her fur stood on end. What could he possibly want? She hated facing Styx. One wrong move, and he'd fly at you with teeth and claws, more than willing to put you in your place

Diana - Hendrix - Healer
The sun's light burst through the leaves, shining around the room and making the medical equipment glisten. Soft pacing already echoed with the first hints of a new day. Diana didn't like mornings, and yet she never allowed herself to sleep more than the necessary, just in case she was needed. Still, the fact that being awake was her own decision didn't keep the healer from being grump as she checked every supply.

As soon as she was done she walked out of the pack house, her short hair a mess that somehow managed to point in every possible direction. Still, the familiar scents around the Hendrix territory made her relax.

"At least someone looks happy." Diana said with a frown, watching as a very large wolf walked on her general direction. Her eyes betrayed the fondness she had for all members of the pack, even if her tone was snarky. "Did you munch on any enemies today, Vernon?"

The brute flicked his tail mindlessly, the pads of his paws pressing into the ground beneath himself. The beast was hesitant to shift back into his human self, he found it relaxing and calming to feel the wind rustle his pelt though he looked like he could snap, he was relatively calm and serene at that moment, he just had an RBF pretty bad when shifted like he was. Vernon believed it was because of his episode a couple years back when the beta struck off on his own for a long while, and then he just couldn't lose that venomous look from his bright hues. Even as the brute continued forward, he seemed to be frowning when all he had was good news for his packmates. He hadn't found any unknown visitors, everything seemed fine within the pack from as much as he could tell. Vernon could be considered odd, but he often enjoyed just delivering good news such as nothing changing. Maybe Vern had difficulty with change and when nothing did change he found it easier to accept, probably a bad habit he would have to drop before long if he wasn't careful with himself.

Vernon was nearly towards the pack house, his nose twitching occasionally as he could already pick up the increasing scent of his packmates lounging about within the house they all occupied. Vern wasn't entirely stern but he wasn't the type to sleep in, he was the type to stay up without sleep so it perplexed him as to how an entire pack could practically sleep all day with little regard to how late they might sleep in. Vernon was pretty closed minded like that, usually up and ready early in the morning or just staying up all night to work on some extra things for the pack. However, all of his thoughts vanished when a voice echoed around the brute. Her words amused him, Diana's words to be exact. The healer had stood in the vicinity, but it seemed he forgot to pinpoint exactly which scent he smelt beforehand.

Vernon couldn't help showing off his fangs as a rather wolfish grin slipped onto his narrowed maw. The healer was rather amusing, cracking jokes, but for all, he knew she could be serious and him just too dense to really figure that out. More than likely, she was just a sarcastic person. I guess you could say that, was all the beast thought before a few cracks resonated from him. Before long, the annoying cracks and pops were done and there stood in the place of the beast was Vernon, his messy and tousled black hair flung every direction. "What brings you out and about so early, Diana? You got any enemies to munch on too?" he mused raising a dark brow. Surprisingly, Vernon was easily amused by his packmates, he enjoyed their company and chats, he was in a way glad that Diana was up and going, she was always fun.

Arisa sat in the corner of the small dark room, a soft smile on her face a she curled in the corner, human form bringing knees up as close to her chest as her large belly allowed, wearing nothing but a thin white dress the cold air stung her exposed cuts on her skin, bruises splotching up her pure white soft complexion, her subtly darker brown hair gently falling to her shoulders and curling naturally inwards to her chin at the flicks, blue eyes softly closed as she hummed to herself, a hand resting on stomach, "

Little child, be not afraid,
Though rain pounds harshly against the glass~
Like an unwanted stranger, there is no danger
I am here tonight~….

Little child, be not afraid
Though thunder explodes and lightning flash
Illuminates…. your tear-stained face,
I am here tonight~

And someday you'll know,
That nature is so
The same rain that draws you near me
Falls on rivers and land~….
On forests and sand,

….. Makes the beautiful world that you'll see
In the morning~

Little child, be not afraid~
Though storm clouds mask your beloved moon,
And its candlelight beams, still keep pleasant dreams~….
I am here tonight,

Little child, be not afraid,
Though wind makes creatures of our trees~
And their branches to hands, they're not real, understand
And I am here tonight,

And someday you'll know~
That nature is so-…."

She cut off eyes opening in startle as she noticed the howl, looking over at Artemis with a small giggle, "C'mon!~ lets go see what it is 'this time'~" she mused with a small smirk, with a heave managing to lift herself up and wincing, supporting her back with one arm as the other females began to rise once she did, giving a more confident nod as the wolf formed girls went out timidly from the room once released by another member. Arisa didn't feel like shifting, it was a pain in the back, literally, but none the less with a playful nudge to the other bent down and transformed, the sounds of bones rearranging came quickly before a white fluffy and starved looking wolf stood there, massive stomach poking out beneath as she shook off, tongue lulling out of mouth as she panted, eyes looking up like deep hopeful pools before trotting out, once down laying on the carpet and rolling around a little on her back like a puppy, trying to scratch an itch as she observed the alpha's wounds subtly, well, not her alpha, someone so cruel should never be, but should he be injured she still wanted to lend aid, giving a small whimper to notify as such, it was almost as though her mind ignored what he brought with him entirely, as though choosing subconsciously not to see it.

[div class=hover]tesák

Tesák got up as she heard her Alpha’s howl. She glanced through the window, noticing his hulking black form. She glanced at her mate and pup, her eyes sharp. A silent message to follow.

She arrived outside to see Styx next to a corpse. The scent of blood, sharp and coppery, tickled her nostrils excitedly. In less than a second, Tesák and her family shifted, leaving behind tesák’s mottled brown wolf, Polaris’ stark white pelt, and Lytrí’s small grey form. The beta stalked over to Styx, shoving her nose into the pelt of the fallen beast beside him. It stank of death and outside-smell.

Tesák’s tongue lolled as she watched the pack gather. The last ones to arrive were, of course, the omegas and breeding females. Tesák narrowed her eyes at Arisa, the prisoner. Glancing at Styx for permission, she crossed the clearing to stand over the omega. Her large form enveloped Arisa’s underfed body, and Tesák stared her down with a withering gaze. She snapped her jaws near the omega’s ear, growling out a sharp warning. “Quicker next time, my dear female, or we will not be so kind as to keep you alive.“ With that she returned to Styx’s side to listen to what he had come to say.

Diana - Hendrix - Healer
"Yes. I have a duty with my clan. You know enemies tremble when they see me." Diana crossed her arms and grinned, showing her own little fangs that never fully disappeared even in her human form. The young woman had a very average height, but the way she carried herself you would think she was much taller.

Even as she talked her eyes carefully scanned Vernon's body, making sure there were no extra injuries she hadn't caught onto before. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary and the wolf was in peak physical form, as were the other males in the clan. So she returned her attention to his yellow eyes.

"Did you catch any different scents out there? I need to go grab some herbs. I wouldn't want to cross any wolves from other clans. They wouldn't stand a chance." Her smile grew. Diana never actually killed another wolf, as the healer considered life to be too precious, but it was fun to boast.

Vernon couldn’t help the broad smile that broke out on his face, the brute was rather amused by her moment of arrogance. The black haired brute held his arm out, a motion towards the forest. “Might I join you? It would be more helpful if I helped you collect the herbs, Wise Diana,” he joked casually. The yellow and brown eyed male grinned. “No, I didn’t catch any scents either, we are clear to go,” he concluded before letting his eyes wander away from Diana and towards the trees behind him. Vernon was curious, he hadn’t really collected herbs before and wondered what kind could be found out in the woods. Even though he had at one point been very much so attentive to the different ranks within the Hendrix pack, Vernon was not so used to exploring the different jobs now a days.

“What do you even do? Like, what kind of stuff do you collect?” Vernon asked cozying up to the side of a tree. He leaned his back against the tree, he wasn’t a fan of the scratchy bark rubbing against his skin but ignored it for the moment. “Is it like daisies or something?” he wondered aloud, he had wondered what kind of plants they used, and a daisy just happened to be the first plant he could really recall at that moment. The brute turned his head, eyes darkening as he watched a bush rustle, and then he turned away as he felt the breeze brush past him.

(Sorry it was so short, I’m not at home currently x.x)

Diana - Hendrix - Healer

"I collect healing herbs so I can make natural medicine. And tea." Diana laughed when he mentioned daisies. "Well, I usually go for herbs like dandelions, milk thistles, artichoke, and turmeric, but I'm sure we can find use for daisies too." She tugged at her white shirt as she talked, clearly excited to have someone to listen.

She took a deep breath as she walked towards the forest, enjoying the natural scents. From all the wolves in the clan, Diana was on her human form the most. It was much easier to handle her job when you had hands instead of paws. But her attentive eyes also followed the movement on the bush, just in case.

"Oh look, dandelions!" She jumped at the tall grass covered in yellow flowers nonchalantly, rising her head afterwards. Leaves were stuck on her brown hair. "Milk thistles are tall, purple flower. Let me know if you find some big boy!"

The brute watched as Diana began speaking about the different plants she usually collected and what they might be used for. Sometimes it was hard to see himself as a beta, he could often see himself being an excited warrior of sorts, he was still relatively young especially for his rank. None the less he is still good at his job, his personality just seemed to differ from the serious type. It was a little obvious as he grinned, his eyes brightening and the corners crinkling.

“Wait really? They just grow wherever?” he mused, the young man slipped away with his eyes quickly flicking around the wooded area. Once he began following after Diana, he felt the urge to shift again, he got those flashes or urged to phase out of his human form a lot. Ever since spending months as a loner, he would get those flashes whenever he was far out, it annoyed him. No matter how much he wanted to just walk around and talk like humans do, he couldn’t help that low growling that tried to convince him to shift. He usually gave in.

“Sure thing boss!” he chuckled, distracting himself from his inner thoughts that slipped past his barricade. Vernon ducked under some branches, his brown eyes searching around the bushes to spot the purple flower Diana described. “How is everyone? No one with injuries?” he called out, casting a glance over his shoulder. He was curious, he wondered if the pack was healthy and if they weren’t, then why. He was a bit nosy like that sometimes.

Chiaki smiles sadly at her adopted daughter. "Hey dear. Did you cook us breakfast? Oh! You made us breakfast in bed didn't you?" She says surprised and apologetic. "DD let's all go lay down in mommy's bed and eat breakfast ok?" She says to her daughter trying to make her mate feel better about cooking for them. The heavily pregnant woman stood up with a groan and a blush. "Actually you two go on ahead....I...I have to use the restroom."

Diana - Hendrix - Healer
"They don't usually grow everywhere, but we have been blessed with a particularly rich forest. You see, the foliage and temperature of the air allow for diverse growing." Diana never stopped smiling as she talked, clearly happy with the subject at hand. "And look at you, being willing to learn. Guess you're not just muscles after all."

Her grin grew with his next question. "No, everyone is fine. I want to keep an eye on Chiaki since she is so close to delivering, but otherwise... no one needs me! I never thought I'd be so happy to say that."

She stood up, carrying a bunch of dandelions.

"Don't rub yourself against anything weird, I don't want you getting hives." Even as she talked, her eyes turned back to the path of the Pack House, a look of apprehension on her eyes. She really didn't want to be gone for long, just in case something happened.

The beast turned human looked back at Diana with a goofy grin, “You aren’t all brains either,” he commented snarkily with his brown and yellow hues lighting up at the short brown haired girl as she walked around with some dandelions. He thought it was quite amusing that she was looking around for plants, he remember when he first saw a healer doing it, he had no idea why and laughed at the thought of a packmate only eating plants, being a vegetarian. Shrugging off that past memory he turned away rummaging around for the purple flower.

Eventually Vernon found some sprawled out near some trees, he continued to listen to Diana as he did so, hands working around the delicate stems as she informed him she was just worried about Chiaki. Vernon wasn’t really used to being around pregnant she-wolves, so he had played into the rumors he heard about them. He hadn’t spoken much with Chiaki, only on occasion which would probably be his fault for not trying, but he knew that she-wolves could get snippy and moody so he made sure to skip out and let Alex handle that. Even though he was a beta he didn’t want to get caught up with something like that. “How many pups do you think she’ll have?” he asked curiously.

Vernon soon came back to Diana, holding a few of the purple flowers by the stems. His black hair was rather messy, but it wasn’t much of a change from before considering it was a mess from when he was running around patrolling. The brute rolled out his shoulder, a few extra pops coming from it. He had to adjust from phasing still something that always bugged him. Even with as much practice as he had with shifting his human form was always so stiff. He used to get his back popped to help him but he supposed it just got worse over time.

Whether she is on her wolf or human form, her stomach has been pleading for proper food for the past few days and her throat has been itching for some water. She managed to find an elk but she was too late when a group of hunters got there first. She retreated to the shadows before they could notice her since she was far outnumbered.

Pale hands clutched on a growling stomach as she did her best to walk properly on her two human feet. It was times like this that being a loner who’d rather spend her days roaming the deep forest instead of the serene town proves itself to be a drag. So when she heard two voices chatting not so far away, she wasted no time and forced her shaking legs to reach them. She needs to reach them before she loses her consciousness or else it’s not going to be good for her.

It wasn’t long before the pale and red-haired woman reached the two figures that seemed to be busying themselves with picking up herbs of some sort. She slowly wobbled her way to them, throat too dry to neither utter anything nor attempt to intimidate them into giving her food and water.

A few steps after and her vision darkened on cue with her legs giving up. The female’s weak and unconscious body falling into the ground helplessly with a soft thud. [/div][/div][/div] [/div]

Garas Rivwik

Location: In Front of the Winson's Home | Interacting with: hostage hostage | Mentions: Cosmos Cosmos WolfOfProphecys WolfOfProphecys

This was the first time in a long while Tesak had allowed Garas to somewhat sleep in, she was always the get the hell up early type of girl but she seemed to have some sort of soft spot for the male, well that’s what he liked to believe anyway. He found himself dreaming about his superior lately, she was incredibly sweet to him in the dream which wasn’t exactly the same when it came to realistic interactions with her. Even if she did have a thing for him he wasn’t sure if he was ready to take care of her as a mate and to take care of her child. Garas soon had his slumber interrupted by the howl of Styx, the most fearsome Alpha, someone Garas didn’t want to hate him otherwise he would probably be dead. The white wolf yawned slightly as he made his way to the source of the howl, not to his surprise he was carrying a dead Wolves carcass if Garas had to assume it was posed to be some sort of example not to mess with him. He took another look around noticing some fearful faces just appearing behind him, one of the faces he recognized as someone who was being held captive from the Hendrix and bared the child of Styx.

Garas stared at the Alpha wolf in a bit of jealousy, he could get whatever and whoever he wanted…Garas wanted that, he wished he could have been stronger but his searching for answers hasn’t made him the strongest of wolves at the moment. He didn’t say a word, he just thought until his mind was interrupted by superior speaking unkindly to the captive knew as Arisa, it was quite sad how quickly someone could kiss up to someone just to save their own lives but he had no place to talk, he was just about in the same position as any of them. The 19-year-old stepped forward stepping between Arisa and Tesak. “Tesak, she was only worried for our leader, he is injured so there is no reason for you to act so foul towards her.” He said respectively. If anything he just hoped he wouldn’t get punished for stated pure facts. “Should a mate not care for her Alpha male especially in her circumstance?” He questioned hoping the Beta would calm herself.

Trembling at the mere idea of what that howl could bring, Artemis moved to her paws, and pressed against Arisa's side as the other shifted, a hopefully calming move to help the pregnant female. She hated what the wolves of this pack had done to all the Omegas, and hated what would one day be done to her too. She followed silently and obediently, tail between her legs and ears flattened, certainly not as enthusiastic as Arisa, who rolled about on the floor when they arrived. She, unlike Arisa, didn't care for Styx or his wounds, she more hoped he bled out before he could harm another innocent.

The wolf that laid mangled at Styx's feet made Artemis feel sick, shying back with a gag. However, when the Beta, Tesak, moved forward to intimidate Arisa, Artemis scrambled to the pregnant females side, snarling weakly at the Beta. Artemis was, after all, not carrying pups, she could take any punishment that came their way. She glanced at Garas as he appeared, flattening her ears as he tried to calm the Beta also, trembling. She continued to growl lightly, tail still tucked down between her legs, trying to warn Tesak away from Arisa.

Styx Kagore - Alpha - Winson - Wolf Form

Styx waited patiently for his pack to appear, one by one turning up from the deeper corners of the house. He sat there in his wolf form, not about to shift just yet, when he much preferred the freedom of his more monstrous form. After all, his human form, whilst just as scarred as his wolf one, could be seen as weak, his wolf form was nothing but ruthless and violent. He rumbled deep in his throat as the Omega's turned up, late as usual, glancing over Arisa. She seemed... well enough, and the swell of her belly was a good sign of strong pups, or so he hoped. He couldn't care less about the female herself, only that she brought new life into the pack.

He nodded to Tesak, allowing her with ease to intimidate and warn Arisa. His own gaze narrowed as Artemis stepped forward to protect the pregnant female, and a low growl rumbled in his own throat, but he didn't move. No, he'd see how his Beta dealt with this, eyeing Garas also. If Tesak didn't punish a single one of them, then Styx would certainly have a set a better example, one he'd be more than happy to show.

Astaroth 'Ash' Smallclaw - Omega - Hendrix - Wolf Form
Slowly, Ash moved to stand, whimpering at the ache of her still healing shoulder and chest. It was her own fault for refusing to let the Healer near her, but she couldn't at all trust any of them right now, when she was so new around here. But she needed food, and that meant she had to go and hunt, for she didn't want to take from the pack and be punished. However... The stairs were between her and the front door, and she refused to shift form, meaning she had to put weight on her injured shoulder. Each step made her limp, and she eyed the stairs with wariness. Either she could shift, which she didn't want, could walk down the stairs and be in agony, or she could go back to her room and starve.
