Zeus-35-Loner
Zeus's hunger had been sated as he had gorged himself upon the canned and dry dog food within the pet store that he had found. But then humans had come and the wolf had been forced to fight those who had come to disturb his meal for it seemed the other humans were not all that happy about a wild dog being within their pet store. With his paws bound in bandages, he couldn't use his claws to defend himself and instead was forced to use his teeth, resulting in a mad chase around the pet store and crashing into things...whether intentionally or accidentally. He had managed to avoid capture though and while his paws might be bandaged his muzzle was not...Zeus had used his strength as a pureblood and the truth of his origins to his advantage, biting through one human's hand and crushing the bones before tearing it from the human's body. What was left was a bleeding stump, the hand still twitching as the others rushed him. A few more choice bites later and there was a nice array of blood on the floor as the wolf snagged up one of the pet rabbits waiting for sale in his mouth, teeth snapping its neck from where he grabbed it roughly after crashing into the case and sending it falling over, before dashing outside, gunshots raining out after him. Three bullets got the wolf as he dodged the rest and disappeared through town, the limp rabbit hanging slack in his jaws as he ran towards the other end of town and out into the country limits. The wolf ran until he found himself approaching a cabin which caused him to falter, however finding the smell of a wolf and a pureblood at that, Zeus boldly strode on up to the place as if he owned it and into a shadowy corner where he could rest for a time until he figured out how to remove bullets from his body. In the meantime, whether said pureblood would show up or not, was not of much concern to Zeus, the wolf instead ripping into the little floppy long ears that he held between his paws. By the time morning rose the next day, Zeus would have hunkered down within the shadowy corner he'd found on the porch that concealed him from view of the humans who might be looking for him, one eye open to watch the sun peeking over the horizon.Mentioned: Comet
Sky Avena-19-Omega-Winson-Human
Sky had ended up wandering the forest as day faded to night, her insomnia kicking into full gear with the absence of light. To the human's relief, none of Styx's pack had bothered to come after her, not that anyone knew of her existence to begin with barring Styx and Janus, the other females being too simple minded and pathetic to dare venture out into the darkness or even out without being summoned by their master's call. She would have said that the alpha was a pimp and the females of his pack being prostitutes but though Janus had equated the females to that, as far as she knew they didn't give their bodies to anyone but the alpha. Not that Sky was bothering to interact with or make friends with the simpering weak females of the pack and stayed away from the bloodthirsty males, for it seemed being raped by the alpha didn't protect a female in that pack from other wolves. Towards that regard, she did have to respect Janus for though he was mean to her and quite frightening, he had not attempted to hurt her like his brother had or that weirdo that had bit her and hurt her before Styx came on the scene and fought that wolf. Sky was not all that worried, she couldn't bring herself to like anyone in that pack except the brothers, who seemed like a formidable force and the other females were all competition between her and the alpha. Why did Styx need his own harem of concubines anyway when he just had all the omegas and the other concubines in which to make children with? It made no sense to Sky at all and yet she knew it was pointless to question Styx for she assumed there to be a high chance of being hit or hurt again and Janus...Janus didn't appear the type to go against his brother in his orders which brought a frown to her face as she walked through the forest, eventually coming across the wolf that had bitten her and thereby stolen her life from her. The blood was dry and the body had gone into rigor, the wounds on the wolf quite extensive and gaping open. Sky stared down at the wolf as it lay there lifeless, the night passing her by in this regard until she finally left the wolf to rot or become food for some type of predator before moving on, not heading towards town or back to Styx's home where he was probably doing God only knew what with that women or perhaps with others, the girl's gaze flickering red again as burning hatred overwhelmed her and she staggered towards a tree that she leaned against as her vision swam before her.
Unknowing that some of those thoughts were her wolf who had already...imprinted as it were on Styx both as a mate and her savior...she clutched the torn fabric of her kimono close to her skin in an effort to stave off the winds, she would need to think on how to convince either brother...most likely Styx...to let her return to town to get the rest of her clothing at least. She couldn't say for sure but she suspected the alpha didn't want to let the female out of his sight until she had at least turned but she had nothing else to wear and she had seen some of those outfits when pushed in with the concubines...something she refused to see herself as. Hell, she refused to see herself as an omega either, despite Styx putting her in that rank. Sky was certainly better than them...she was stronger and independent yet helpful and shy. She tried to be friendly to people and offer advice yet she did not understand so much about pack society or Styx, only that he was temperamental and seemed to be...whatever that word was...the mental condition where someone was addicted to sex. Granted the latter was based on the alpha's actions towards her those twenty-four hours previously and the way he was with that wolf she had brought back to the pack. The odd thought came to her on if Janus would get angry if she dared bring it up or laugh.
Sky stayed by that tree for quite a length of time. With being unable to sleep and not wanting to face her anxiety by being around all those people again which would just act up if she saw Styx again or those strange feelings that seemed to be plaguing her with coming across and following the alpha's orders of bringing trespassers to his territory, Sky did not turn back towards the house nor head towards the town. It was highly likely the girl was getting herself lost, she had never been the greatest with sense of direction, otherwise how could she have been so stupid as to run into a man who turned into a wolf and attacked her? And what did Janus mean by Styx possibly having his eye on her? He might have spent twenty-four hours hurting her but he obviously had eyes for that female that she had at first feared was a male. Now Sky was wishing that wolf had been a male and not a female...that look the wolf had given her didn't make any sense to her. The concubines were probably all inbred anyway and that most likely contributed to their weakness and simpering attitude as well...it must be because what else could one expect when you belonged to one man...one animal? Constant inbreeding with nothing to show for it but weakness and sickness...weakness that both Styx and Janus had made quite clear they didn't like...Styx more than Janus but still.
Morning found Sky having somehow found herself back in the clearing where she had been hurt as the sun rose into the sky, chasing away the sooty sky and casting the pallet of a painter on it, before those colors too faded into pale blue skies. Oh of couse the sky wasn't blue, it was really black and had to do with the sun's light scattering as it went through the atmosphere, though she doubted that any wolf in Styx's pack had an education at all. Okay...maybe Janus did, he certainly seemed smart to be able to heal people. The thought briefly crossed her mind that she should just attempt killing herself...surely Janus had something in his office of which to kill people besides his teeth and claws, originally meeting the healer when he had been sleeping in his wolf form in his office after being brought back to the pack. Certainly nobody would notice, they only seemed to care about suffering and their own pitiful natures. Even now, forty-eight hours later, the ground was soaked in blood and she could...she could see the pawprints of both that wolf that she had come across and Styx, see the impression of where both wolves had held the girl down and she found herself shuddering, Sky once more wrapping her arms around herself as her eyes glazed over and shaking as she stared blankly as the scene played again in her mind.
It was dark as Sky left the library, a little past ten in the evening and the library was closing. Sky had been studying at the time for a math test She was hoping to get into college but first had to study for the placement test that would determine what math class she would take in college. It was raining when she got outside, the walk back to the home she rented with a couple other roommates a fair distance from the library. Being that the town was small enough to get around without car, Sky decided to walk though not expecting it to rain she had not brought an umbrella with her. As she stepped out of of the doors leading to the library, she could see the rain coming down, the clouds a dark gray as they poured their moisture from the heavens onto the earth below. The blond-haired girl sighed to herself and hitched her purse up on her shoulder before turning to her right and beginning the walk back to the house.
There was one little cafe that was open at this hour and she stopped there to get a quick meal of noodles with beef and soy sauce. It almost reminded her of Japan and their food stalls or even like other countries outside of America that had food stalls. She'd been lucky enough to visit Japan a couple times as a child and enjoyed the country despite it being surrounded by water and far from mainland Eurasia. The girl spent some time ordering her food and waiting for it to be cooked, not seeing the little group of men watching her as they sat in a corner of the cafe. The girl was new to the town and had no connections...she would be an easy target for what they had in mind.
It was now really late when she left the cafe, not noticing the men following her or the creature that followed them. The wolf
that had first scented the girl in the forest was a rogue and a pureblood though that didn't matter to the hulking beast that had first spotted Sky when she had been wandering the forest upon coming to this town of Wolf Pine Peaks. It had remained within the shadows at the time watching her and as Sky left, disappeared back into the shadows of alleys and used those to hide itself from any who were out. The pretty shy human who smelled of lavender would be his in body, mind and soul...his cub...lover...mother...and eventually mated slave. Luck would not be on the girl's side, nor would it turn out to be on this pureblood's side.
Sky waited at the crosswalk as cars went by and she waited for the walking sign to turn to a white human so she could cross the street. She was halfway across when the group of males suddenly jumped her, one snagging her purse from her, the strap tearing as it was tossed away. Sky stared in fear as one reached out for her and she smacked his hand away before turning and bolting, but she could hear their footsteps and shouts calling after her. Within the shadows of an alley, the wolf watched this and growled lowly in his chest. How dare these humans...these miserable sacks of blood and flesh think to harm his future. The wolf disappeared into the alleyway and took a few shortcuts to get to the forest, ears tuned in for the girl's footsteps so he could track her, listening to her panting gasps and pleas for help.
As she was pursued she took a turn onto a side alley, hoping that it would lead her to her house so she could get inside. However, in her panicked state of mind, she did not realize that she had ended up taking a wrong turn as the tar soon became dirt and she found herself at the back wall separating alley from the back of a store facing towards the forest. Her eyes widened as she looked for somewhere to hide only there was nowhere she could go. Desperately she searched and managed to find a hole which she began to scramble through, just a small enough gap for a person to get through. However, by this time the men had caught up to her and one grabbed her legs, pulling her back out of the hole, her fingers scrabbling at the concrete of the alleyway. "No....please help!"
There was laughter before something hit one of the men, knocking him into the dumpster and the human slid to the ground below. Snarling and practically spitting, the stranger lunged at two of the men who saw their buddy getting thrown into the dumpster and knocked them both to the ground, the man shifting before them and tearing into them, their screams echoing through the air. Limbs were torn from their bodies and one was split open with their own knife, the wolf taking great pleasure in spilling the man's entrails onto the ground and leaving him to bleed out, his heart still beating as his ribs were spread apart and snapped with each pummel of his fists. Sky, meanwhile, struggled and kicked to get the man holding her legs and pulling her back when there were suddenly gone, only the hands remaining as the human that had been holding her let out a scream before falling silent, his hands still attached at the wrists and still clenched around her ankles. She could hear cracking and snapping, not knowing the one who had saved her was a creature of myth and fantasy.
Sky felt the hands be released and a voice purred to her, telling her it was safe and there was no reason to be afraid. When hands grabbed her again, she screamed as she was roughly pulled, a tear forming in her kimono and scraping her hands as she was pulled free and rolled over to see a stranger
standing there. The man smiled at her and held out his hand to help her out, Sky taking it. "I heard the commotion and saw them chasing you. Those people were bullies." As Sky's eyes turned to the bodies within the alley, the man reached forward and pulled her close, his grip tight but his voice holding sympathy. "Don't look...I barely got away from whatever attacked them myself." He held out his bruised knuckles and then showed her an open wound on his shoulder from where he had been stabbed, thankfully the knife had not been silver. "Come...I shall escort you home. It isn't safe to be out here at night."
Sky could only cry into the man's chest and through her tears muttered a thank you, the man smiling as he felt her warmth and tears on his chest. Pushing her away, even though he wanted to continue holding her, he would need someplace else for turning her and knew the forest would do well for his purposes. She would bond to him as would her wolf as her maker and lover...all she had to do was survive and see him as the first male wolf she saw. He hoped she would be as pretty as she was now and even prettier when she was swollen with his children. She didn't know the hell that was awaiting her by allowing this man to escort her home...when he had no intentions of doing so. Sky found herself being led through the streets, not towards her home which she tried to give directions to but towards the forest. "What...what are you doing...?" she trailed off as the man kissed her, smothering her reply and she tried to push him away, only for hands to grip her wrists tightly.
As if fate were laughing at her and lady luck was smiling down on him, the clouds parted to reveal the full moon shining down on the town. With its gift, the girl would become even stronger which was why he had taken advantage when he had of the attack though he was not expecting others to try for what was his. "It's beautiful isn't it? The moon," he said, directing Sky's chin up to gaze at the moon itself, the wolf smiling at the rapture on the girl's face as the moon reflected within her gaze. As she stared at the moon, the light pooling down onto the town, the man released her and she stumbled as he began to change back to his wolf form, bones snapping and fur itching on his back as his skin bubbled and boiled like it was on fire. All the while, his eyes never left her, he was sure she would want to be with him when she saw him in his animal form. When she looked down, the wolf lunged at her as she attempted to back away, his ears flattening in the briefest hint of sadness that she could look at him in fear. She tripped and fell, the wolf landing on top of her and biting into her shoulder, claws running down her arm as she screamed at the pain, his jaws biting through bone and hearing the snap and smelling the fear only made him want her more....

Janus Kagore-24-Healer-Winson-Wolf to Human
Harsh sunlight filtered in through the healer's window of his office and shone down into his eyes, the gray wolf's eyes peeling open and staring across the room, his eyes lighting on the panting breeder that had gone unexpectedly into labor and been in labor for much of the day and night, the healer making no moves towards helping her. He had put her onto a couple of towels and a thin blanket to keep his floors clean as he counted the pups...six though one was stillborn and one was struggling to breathe. This was the female's fifth attempt at making children with Styx and she had failed to conceive the first two times at all, her last two litters having born weakling pups. He couldn't count the number of pups his brother had sired that were now all deceased...Janus knew it wasn't anything his brother was doing wrong. Styx tended to breed the females night and day when they were in heat, locking them up in his room with him where they weren't allowed to associate with anyone but his brother.Janus was annoyed...the breeder's whimpers of pain of which Janus did not bother to do anything for and the pups whimpering. Janus could see right away they would all perish, whether now or in a month was hard to tell. No pup of Styx's ever lasted more than their first month of life...which meant there was something wrong with the horde of concubines at his brother's disposal even with the sacrificing of his own food to keep them healthy and in shape for breeding and labor. Styx would not be pleased to hear one of the pups was stillborn...hopefully his bedding whichever female had caught his attention all night would appease him and put him in a good mood. Assuming Styx had not forgotten about the female who was pregnant which was a high possiblity. His brother tended to get distracted when he was craving the touch of a woman and focused solely on the pleasure their fear brought him...among other things about bedding females.
