Realistic or Modern Wished (OOC Planning Thread)

Awesome! And don’t worry I’m not trying to god-mode or anything, I just have a character who *looks* like a punk ass bitch (in a badass way), but is actually a soft-spoken, awkward bean. I was going to hope that she could have had used a wish to explain why her appearance and personality contrast so differently.

I don’t know if anyone said anything but wouldn’t it be cool if you could steal someone’s wishes by like the trinket they had? I don’t know if this was already discussed. If you’ll have me I am indeed interested!

Hi vixe , welcome! There is still time to submit a character. Just head on over to the character thread and share your character by next Saturday.

As for your question, yes, trinkets can be stolen but there is no way to know which trinkets are the real deal and which are duds. (Hint: almost none have actual power.) I know we discussed the possibility of characters needing trinkets in order to make their wish, but I’d prefer to stick with a simpler form of wish making: touching one of the dots while thinking or verbalizing the wish.

I’ve totally left out the wish making part in my world notes at the top of this thread, so thanks for reminding me of it! I will try to update later today.

Sorry I wasn't able to come through, guys. Ironically ended up sick from last Saturday and still counting the days (getting better, tho). I wish you all the best of fun with the RP and will definitely be down if a second wave of this pops up in the future.

As a side note: Interestingly enough had a dream about living the concept and it was quite interesting; got to experience the finickiness of wishes first hand, lol.
