“D-Don’t worry about it. I’m not hurt and if neither are you then it’s alright,” She looked down at her kimono which now had chalk marks and a little debris dirtying the front from the accidental knockdown with a frown. At least it hadn’t been muddy or anything– THAT would have been a disaster. “Mayyyybe try being a little more careful around here though. There are children running around everywhere and little hop-scotch fiends like THESE two.”
It was at this time that she turned back to the stranger that had practically tackled her and pointed up to the darkened sky above.
“The stars should start falling soon if you’re here for that. I’m going to find a decent vantage point to watch it from– it’s a little too bright down here for me. You’re more than welcome to come along unless you have other plans. Either way,” Asami stuck out her hand to the girl with a warm smile for a cordial handshake. “No hard feelings?”

Niyama Town, Hokkaido Prefecture
"Darn it Rei! Is the yukata really necessary?" Jun complained as his sister practically dragged him down the street the festival was taking place. Due to his wearing the more feminine version of the garment in question, anyone who did not know him would think he was a more reluctant, shy girl that was forced to keep up with her sister.
"Oh quit your whining, you look great!" Rei retorted with a very smug expression before explaining. "Just be glad I didn't want to ruin the kimono trying to wrestle you into it. And of course it's necessary. It's a festival after all!"
"Ugh, come on sis!" Jun continued to protest. "It's embarrassing being seen in this!"
"And, it'll be even worse for you if everyone else realizes you're actually a guy." Rei retorted. "So I suggest you quit whining about it and put on your best twin sister act. It isn't like we'll run into anyone we know."
Jun gave a sigh of resignation. He knew his sister was right, but that did not mean he had to like it. The only reason Rei was able to force Jun into the yukata in the first place was because she was physically stronger than he was. One would almost think some circuits were swapped and wires were crossed prior to their birth. "Alright, but you're paying for everything. And I'm not going to hold back as much as usual."
Jun warned Rei who was still smiling. At least, until she realized that he was serious about that last bit. He may not look it, but Rei knew Jun had a crazy metabolism and did not back down easily. He was stubborn as a mule in that regard. Without another word, Jun quickly made his way to one of the street stalls while Rei caught up. "Dear Lord what have I done?"
