There isn't any wrong answer to this question. For me I typically romance Shane or Sebastian.

The reason for Shane is because of the fact. I love his heart events (Heck I got a Shane event expansion mod that works pretty well with his base game heart events.

I choose Sebastian for well almost the fact I grew to love the guy.

Emily, Alex, and Haley tend to be my usual picks! If we're talking characters from the entire cast, then I would personally pick Gus. I love how he's shown to have such a big heart and be so caring to the folks of the Valley, especially if they feel down on their luck.
