If I claim an element, can I then change my mind and claim a different one instead? Not many people have gone for trees so I've been looking into them and have a few ideas, but I want to ensure I don't end up with a dream power too similar to somebody else's. I'm thinking of going for Cherry Tree as my element - is that ok? Obviously the core would be the wood as opposed to a little cherry xD

So guys, let's get some hype discussion going whilst we wait for the thread to go live! What are your characters like, and what kind of powers are you planning?

I'm gonna make a former cop turned underground boxer who's cold and harsh, but determined to get shit done. I'm not quite sure whether I should give her winter-y powers or lightning powers though. I just know that an ability to make shields is gonna be involved.

Oooohh Characters...


A recent University graduate who has no Idea what to do with his life. Semi-Smartass, Lazy, Waayyy too curious for his own good and a sarcastic edge to top it all off. For his ability I'm thinking of some sort of Video game like ability, Kind of like Digitalising things from games into reality and so on.


I'm an indecisive person though, So It might change if I get another idea but that's what I'm hoping to go with at this time.

I'm not sure about my character's real-life occupation at the time being, but I know he's going to be dandyish, flirtatious and somewhat over-confident. I'll be playing him for laughs a lot of the time, so expect lots of one-liners and banter. Cherry trees are linked to romance, death and life, so I'm thinking some kind of charm-casting thing (which, rather annoyingly for my character, doesn't seem to work on fellow humans) maybe alongside some kind of decay and rejuvenation powers.

Blergh, my character was finished, and she was a very lovely, young teen girl with rich parents who isn't quite happy with her set path, but I'm having an existential crisis even on RPN, so it MIGHT change xD

My character's core is silver taking the symbolism of feminity, healing, molding and adapting into something stronger. As a guy, he's a twenty-something man, graduated with a degree in Computer Science. He does part time work from home doing some indepedent contract work just to keep himself busy. He inherited a large amount of money in the form of a trust fund and life insurance payouts when his mother and father died while he was in college.


His dream self is a female, and in many ways holds characteristics and personality that he wishes he could imbue upon himself in the real world. With silver as her core, she's going to have the power of a regenerative healing factor (think like Wolverine). Add to that, her body can temporarily adapt itself when damaged. Say she gets shot by bullets, when her skin heals back, it makes the skin tougher and less pentrable by bullets. The healing factor is going to have some interesting side effects in the real world for him. It will begin healing his body to his dream self.
