Experiences When RPs fall off, what happens to your OC?

So, I have an OC bank saved in google docs. It's a character -- relative history -- and a current bbc/coding structure for their posts saved all encompassing. I have 4 OCs that I have recreated over the years, one in particular I could never get rid of.

I have maybe around 40-50 OCs spanning across a dozen or so fandoms hanging in GDocs in their character sheets.

Most of them just collect dust sadly. It sucks.
