Anime & Manga What was the first anime that you ever watched?

Akazukin Cha Cha.... though I watched it in English dub at the time since it was on Cartoon Network (I think) when I was a kid. Immediately watched it on TV as soon as I got home from school. I even made my dad record it for me on VHS (gosh I feel old).

Pokemon. my parents had gotten me this yellow VHS that contained the first two episode of the anime (i still own it and it's in pretty good condition) however the first anime i ever remember catching on TV was Digimon
