One Thousand Club
Names: Bruce Wayne (Batman/The Caped Crusader/Bats/Batsy/Tall Dark and Brooding)
Fandom: DC Universe
Age: 29
Gender/Sexuality: Male/Straight
Appearance:
Personality: Bruce's personality varies depending on which proverbial "mask" he's wearing. As Bruce Wayne, he is kind, charming, jovial, and a bit irresponsible. He is a billionaire playboy, after all. At least, that's how the public perceives him. As Batman however, he is stoic, dedicated, dark, focused, calculating, and a bit broody, although he would never admit to it. Even has Batman however, he does have room for some humor, although it usually surfaces as quick sarcastic remarks.
Backstory: Bruce's path toward crime fighting began when he was just eight years old. He and his parents had just gotten done seeing the movie "The Mask of Zorro." It was young Bruce's favorite, and this was probably the eight time his parents Thomas and Martha Wayne had bought out the movie theater for their own private screening. Taking a shortcut to their limo through the notorious "Crime Alley", the three were soon accosted by a mugger, demanding Martha hand over her pearl necklace. Thomas stepped forward, attempting to defend his family. He was shot dead in front of them. Martha screamed, and as a result, the mugger shot her as well in a panic. Bruce was left there, morning over his parents as Alfred, the family butler and surrogate father to Bruce arrived to see what the commotion was.
As Bruce grew older, he would soon dedicate his life to making sure something like that would never happen again, so that no other eight year old boy would lose his parents to some punk with a gun. He spent most of his teenage and adult life traveling the world, training in a variety of different skills. Martial Arts, Ninjitsu, Criminology, Forensics, Marksmanship, and so on. When he returned to Gotham, he was ready to begin his crusade. There was one thing missing however. On his routine outings, he would stop the bad guys, yes, but they weren't afraid of him. Bruce wanted the criminals to fear him, so that should they make parole, they would never set foot in Gotham's underworld again. One night, while Bruce was in his study, a bat crashed through his window, and that was when Bruce knew what he had to do. He would become Gotham's new urban legend. He would fight for justice and strike fear into the heart of Gotham's criminal Underworld. He would be Vengeance. He would be The Night. He would be Batman.

Skills:
- Martial Arts - Master of over 127 different forms of combat and martial arts.
- Marksmanship - While he has sworn never to use a gun, Batman is quite a capable marksman, as evidenced with his accuracy with a Batarang.
- Criminology - Batman is a master of criminal science, able to get inside the mind of a potential perp and figure out what they're planning next often before they even do.
- Intimidation - Batman's main weapon is intimidation. Criminals are a cowardly, superstitious lot, and Batman uses the visage of the bat to terrify and disorient his foes.
- Stealth - Due to studying with Ra's Al Gul's league of Assassins, Batman is a master of ninjitsu, blending into the shadows and using stealth to his advantage, getting the drop on his foes.
- Escape Artistry - Batman is a master escape artist, able to free himself from any trap given enough time. The more complicated the trap however, the more difficult it will be to escape.
- Forensics - Batman is a master detective and investigator, with a mastery of deduction similar to that of Sherlock Holmes.
Weaknesses:
- Only Human - Batman has achieved feats that place him among gods, but despite this, he is still only human. He can still tire out, he can still be hurt, and he can still be killed.
- Moral Code - Batman has a strict moral code, that being; 'Never Kill. Protect the Innocent.' His sense of morality can be turned against him, opponents could threaten innocents and make their escape while Batman is off trying to rescue them. He prioritizes the lives of civilians over catching potential villains.
- Paranoia - Batman tries to be prepared for any type of threat, no matter what it may be, and thus has a slight trust issue. He will not trust a new ally right away unless they do something to earn his faith.
- Little Sense of Self Preservation - Batman has a history of almost dying while on patrol, usually due to never taking a moment to rest. He always throws himself in the line of fire to achieve a goal, even if he is in no condition to fight.
- Bat Suit - Armored suit designed for mobility and protection. It is made of a lightweight armor that provides movement, insulation, and protection from fire arms.
- Utility Belt - A belt that serves as the carrying case for Batman's weapons arsenal.
- Batarangs - Bat shaped shuriken of different varieties and materials. The batarangs are multipurpose, ranging from your basic boomerang to even remote control batarangs.
- Grapple Gun - A gun that fires a grappling hook that Batman uses to traverse city rooftops quickly and agilely.
- Bat Drone - A remote controlled drone that is wired into the Bat Gauntlet. It is lightweight and quiet, and houses a small grappling hook, and a short range EMP blast.
- Caltrops - Small, spiked balls, used for slowing down anyone either chasing him, or trying to get away.
- Smoke Bombs - Small pellets that emit a smokescreen, usually used for quick escapes.
- Shock Grenades - Grenades that emit a small shock, similar to that of a taser
- Micro-Explosives - Small, short range concussive blasts, used only for clearing debris or opening passageways.
- Cowl - Batman's signature mask that houses a variety of different gadgets. Night vision, Thermal vision, two way communicator, and an artificial voice changer, used to deepen Bruce's voice for disguise and intimidation.
- Glider Cape - Batman's cape ties the look together and serves as a hang glider, allowing Batman to soar through the air for short periods of time.
- The Batmobile - Batman's car. Sleek in its design, The Batmobile is Batman's armored transport, housing gear such as caltrops, oil slick, machine guns (that fire rubber bullets), and a grappling hook of its own, mostly used as a tow cable.
- Gas Mask - An attachable mask, which Bruce wears along with his cowl should he ever be in an environment where the air is toxic.
