Hiya! I’ve been eying this for a while because I’ve been looking for a multifandom that’ll allow me to use all of the characters I have muses for. It seems pretty neat! I have a couple of questions, though. Firstly (and most importantly) is it still open for signups, or do I wait ‘til next time? And if it is open and I do join, what would be the best way to slip into the action?

As far as the best way to jump into the action, well there's at least one or two active regions on each of the planets. It's just a question of where you think your characters might fit in.

Yeah, I feel like discord brings out the worst in people so I don't usually get on myself, but whatever it was you said I'm sure it wasn't that big of a deal.More importantly, I checked the lore tab and I'm still not seeing that new setting info you wanted me to bring in, insofar as there being more districts et al.
Speaking of which, while you're on that whole deal feel free to add mine for reference purposes. It's cool if you just quote my post or whatever instead of doing a proper writeup. Maybe add

Edit- Added a bunch of districts. So-far what I've added isn't the whole thing, as in the 2000AD comics Mega-City One covered most of the Eastern side of the United States, and with Gotham on top of that...

Yeah, I noticed you seemed occupied with your IC posts. Anyway, I'm looking through and I can't help but notice that this information is, and I'm not sure how to put this nicely so I'll come right out and say it, blatantly wrong and totally contradicting canonical material from Dredd, Batman, and my own character's exposition at the same time to a degree that is actually kind of astonishing. If you'd like a crash course in how these settings function, both in scale and political dynamic, I'd be glad to fill you in some.Also, I'd suggest migrating this to the Lore tab proper and also I noticed you've still not added

Don't know why you posted it in the CS section and not the OOC; seems like it'd just clutter up CS stuff unnecessarily when discussion can happen here fine. Ah well, I'll pass on Boss Rabbit then. I always enjoyed watching his episode figured he'd be amusing to go with. I'll ping you when I re-update that slot with some other feller, no need to do an additional slot just yet.

Your own character's exposition seemed to muddle things, so I found a way to mix the three settings together without throwing out all the established stuff in the lore pages (which was details on a few big gangs) and in your character's exposition. Obviously, I did have to change some things. I mean, the Judges not being taken seriously by most people? I mean, really? I guess I could understand that bit if your character was very cocky, but as you said he was basically doing an exposition on the whole city...And it's a 2000AD/Dredd mish-mash setting where the Judges come across as jobbers.
Obviously not every Judge is the man himself, but they're still powerful.
If I just kept the stuff your character said and ignored everything else it would be a setting where Gotham has merged with Mega-City One and there's absolutely no mention of Batman stuff aside from GCPD remnants, and the Judges come across as pathetic.
A merged setting is a mish-mash of two different settings. That's the point. You don't throw the two settings out, replace it with something else and then just make minor mentions. Characters change too, and Penguin has been more of a smart mob boss than a blatant psychopath like the others in Batman's rogues gallery, at least in most of his adaptations (Batman Returns is an exception). So him feeding information to the Judges in order to stay alive makes sense.
The False Facers were already established for Black Mask within his comics, but the idea of them actually performing surgery to look like their boss (instead of just wearing masks) sounds like something from Dredd and like something Black Mask would do to survive in the new world he's found himself in.
I kept all of your stuff, only taking liberties like explaining some things better (like the quarantine's reason for existing) and moving it around to fit the setting.
I grew up with Batman: TAS and later got into his comics and various other media. The Dredd/2000AD stuff I got into after seeing Dredd, so while I'll less knowledgeable on that I know enough to get by. So I think I know these two settings, thank you very much.
Although, there's that many different versions of Batman and Gotham that it does get confusing for some.
