Video Games What are your thoughts on the Mass Effect series of games?

I've only played Andromeda and I haven't beaten it yet. I just resumed playing my current campaign. This game is amazing.

Any of you fans of it? Right now, I'm just looking for ways to upgrade my weapons, armor, and augmentations. I want my guns to destroy everything.

Drack and Liam are my companions.

I only ever played the third game when I was twelve. I was terribly confused the whole time but still enjoyed playing it. I remeber particularly enjoying that games multiplayer.

I've played all four games, and adored each and every single one Kaiden and Zaeed were what made me play a few years back tbh
I don't have much advice, but I'm glad you're enjoying it. Unfortunately most of the fans don't have any advice since practically everyone I know hates it

I sincerely cannot comprehend how so many people play an RPG and forget so many things about it.

I can't fathom how it's even possible to passively play an RPG... Or maybe I just have photographic memory? lol

I still remember a lot about my Baldurs Gate 2 experience from 8 years ago.

Bad art compared to the previous three, a lot of the asari, even on the crew look alike, lack of plot, and the love interests aren't really good

Another person who loves the original trilogy here! I played for Thane and Garrus. ME2 is by far my favorite game in the series, though the Citadel DLC in ME3 was also amazing.

Now that Legendary Edition has been out and gets regularly discounted to a laughable degree, I can really only recommend it to anyone who enjoys Bioware's style from Dragon Age or similar and/or enjoys Star Trek (specifically). Yeah it's a little janky because it's 15ish years old, but if you can look past the age, there's a really solid RPG there. The remaster was a little meh. But you can mod!

Played the initial three, seen enough of 4(andromeda) and its buggy mess that I'm happy I kept my exposure in that game to what streamers did. Three just left a sour taste in my mouth. I enjoyed two, thought one was a good deal as well, these two games I had no problems buying the DLC for.

5 I have zero plans to get as the current helmsmen inspire zero confidence in me. Speaking of, if you like ME 1 and 2, you may want to check out Humanoid Origin... or so I would like to say but current economic conditions led to the cancelation of the game and the new studio, today... Welp.
